And after heroes visited Watering Place, it's always mentioned (not visited).

That string is not used anywhere, so everything is right.

The description of dimension door says it can be used up to 1, 2, 3 and 4 times a day (none, basic, advanced, and expert air magic), however it can only be used once, regardless of air magic level. Is this what is meant by the h3hota.com/en/rules "Restriction on Dimension Door (same as for SoD)" or is this a bug?

OK I scrolled down and saw this:

"Dimension Door spell:
on all templates (except XL+U size) may be used by all heroes no more than once a day;
on XL+U size templates it can be use by any hero 2 times per day on Expert Air Magic and once otherwise."

Maybe the in-game description should be updated? Also it's kinda lame expert air magic does nothing for it. I'd like to be able to use it twice (regardless of map size) if I have expert air magic. In any case it would be nice if the in-game description accurately described the current state of the game based on the map size.

I have spells enabled in the auto combat options, but I don't think quick combat is making use of them. Is this a bug?

I was able to end my turn on top of terrain while flying (angel wings). It was on top of the image of the actual saw of the sawmill (where you can't normally move).

I extracted a campaign from the original game and played it in HotA as a custom campaign. When I tried to load the final save game (after completing the campaign) HotA froze my computer. Couldn't even bring up the task manager.

There is a bug with the "invite a hero" tavern feature. When one of the currently available heroes is selected, not all other heroes are available to be invited. When I select the other currently available hero I can then invite the missing heroes. This is a problem when I want to recruit the hero who is incapable of inviting the next hero I want.

Probably you've turned on "Tournament rules" checkbox.

It was probably fixed in last HD-mod versions.

Two heroes of the same class cannot apear in tavern in both slots simultaneously.

Btw, "invite hero" is HD-mod feature and it was made for offline tournaments. It is not recommended to use it in general singleplayer (unless you play for the result of minimum days), because it is just cheating vs AI.

The new patch is amazing i will be streaming on my twitch tutorial for new english player and try to grow our players pool here in america i will also upload these tutorial on youtube is there a place i can put those videos for new or inexperienced players. Can you add the same recruit all creatures (ctrl+click) button from the town screen to the kingdom overview screen? The same icon is there but it isn't ctrl+clickable.

The description for Expert Death Ripple uses the word "Mashines" when it should be Machines.

I wouldn't mind doing a spell check for the English translation if you want to send me the text. I'm willing to do so for any and all HotA/HD texts you want me to check.

Is mt_Jebus different from Jebus? If so can anyone summarize the differences?

I do not find it in my Templates folder. I have a Jebus Folder and a Poor Jebus.

mt stands for mirror template and what it does is basically copying ground stuff and pasting it onto underground (I can't go into details here). And you'll find new templates in HotA_RMGTemplates folder instead.

And template editor is not compatible with mirror templates yet.

Here's a pretty interesting "thing" I've found. It's not a gamebreaking bug or a graphical issue so I think this is the best place to post it, it's just something I've discovered by accident when replaying one of my older maps.


Remember that back when Town Portal objects on the map were first released they didn't work at all and they just crashed the game each time you loaded a map with them? Well, thank God it was fixed very quickly, but if for some reason you still have a version of the map using the older TP which previously crashed the game... well it doesn't now in version 1.5. Not just that, the Town Portal works as a Mineral Spring just with the TP sprite. I don't see how it could be helpful in any way, maybe for some tricky puzzle map if it would be allowed by devs. But there you go!

Sometimes the ballista can be annoying if you can't control it. Rather than having to blow it up with an AoE spell, I think it would be nice if there was a button to tell it to do nothing, even if you don't have the secondary skill.

Yeah maybe the AI should just never target blind targets.

Now that we're able to reject witch hut skills, how do you feel about an option to reject both skills on level up? As in you get no skills for that level. It would also go along with how we are no longer stuck with undesired spells via the research ability.
