Not quite true: Foolhardy Waywardness does, in fact, feature Regnans, presently represented by Stronghold.


Doesn't compare with true pirates. Goblins aren't all pirates, and neither are orcs and ogres.

Sorry, guess I got it mixed up with the fact that we were at that time speaking with the dev (if you're talking about the original converted campaigns for HotA).

To answer your question, no. There's no such option right now.
As I stated before, if you want them directly in HotA, then because of code limitations you will only be able to play either the HotA campaigns, either the original. However, you can install HoMM3 HD with HotA twice and keep one clean and the other with the modified campaigns.

Can i politely ask if one of you Russian speaker found some release date info for the factory on that vk forum?

I'm eager to try the new faction.

Btw i found on maps4heroes a scenario called Prismatic Greed it's very, very good i would highly recommend it. The only downside is that you can only play 8 heroes in a Giant map. (or XH i don't remember)

Anyone knows if you can uplift the 8 heroes limitation? I'd play something like 12 on such a map tbh.

You can use google translate to read the russian forum if you don't know russian (it translates pretty well, btw). Unfortunately, I didn't enter their forum for several days, but the release might either be relatively soon, either after several more months because of the campaign making.

HotA Crew if Interference was meant to replace Resistance, I don't understand why hero classes have lower chances to learn Interference, than Resistance.
Why don't they have the same chances?

Maybe they accidentally overlooked that. You know, with all those values to change and stuff... Or maybe it's for balance, since Interference can be absolutely WRECKING against magic heroes.

No, it seems it was rather intentional.
All might heroes have the same chances with Interference as Resistance, but Clerics, Druids, Heretics, Necromancers, Battle Mages and Navigators have lower chance for Interference than Resistance.

I dunno what's the exact reasoning behind this, but they probably gave a 0% chance for magic classes because magic heroes have plenty of other skills to fill their skill tree with (int, offense, etc. to compensate for their lack of att and def, or to "complete" their magic skill collection). And you usually won't choose Interference for a magic hero anyway.

Is there any tool or utility that would let me copy or clone areas of the map in the Hota Map Editor ? I tried with Unleashed Map Editor but I can use because of the different map version .

Yes, Regna pirates, etc. Also found in Might and Magic 8. And many creatures are similar to those found in MM, like the serpent, pirates, etc. And the lore of Cove is more like a side-story, so it doesn't conflict too much with the main lore. From a story point of view, the Heroes Chronicles is more lore unfriendly than Cove.

not too convinced about a thesis of comparing authenticity of official licensed works and fan fiction, it is a bit like saying Heroes 3 itself is not lore friendly, like nah bruv lol

I love the look of the new town, but I just wish it wasn't teased so early in the development. 15 month wait so far with no end in sight is just killing me.
