Sacrifice is the only spell with 2 Cs...

Could you have meant Counterstrike, if you were speaking about Air Magic (since K could be considered a C)? There's also Precision, good for factions like Tower, or Air Shield, against shooters (but these are totally situational).

I have a list of all the Air spells pulled up here and none of them have 2 C's so either you're making fun of us or you know something I don't. I'm inclined to suspect the former.

Counterstrike seems like one of those spells that sounds cool on paper that you'd never actually use but I could be wrong. So now we have Haste, Disrupting Ray, Counterstrike, Chain Lightning(Come on it IS a good spell), and for neutrals Lightning Bolt, Air Shield, and Destroy Undead. That's 7 spells. Air Magic is doing fine.

Also, side note should I make a separate thread for my HotA proposals? Last time I made a big post about faction skills and people told me to make my own thread since realistically they wouldn't be implemented.

It wasn't any of them.

True, but the same can be said about my examples above too. Only that Counterstrike is less situational, but works only against the AI (95%+ of the cases; I mean, who would attack more than once a unit with the spell cast on it).

Maybe? Probably? I say you could, if you're not offended or anything.

If someone uses reverse engineering on H3 and releases the easy-to-modify version of H3, someone, or you could add those changes. It's unlikely to happen, but I heard some rumors...

If playing HotA with spell research and I'm missing something that is a serious candidate to go.
I only remember to use it in guys with tactics, to destroy their war machines before my Archangels annihilate his pussy army. If battle is even slightly even I'm sure that will not be my option.

It seems that, according to the original devs, the Badge of Courage is working as intended.

So the HOTA team could revert it back and update the description.

I'm not all that convinced if the artifact should have work exactly like it does in SOD thou. I would rather belive that there had been some confusion in the designers' side, as from gameplay point of view the classic Badge is not making much sense - it's a misc treasure artifact with value of 1000, but the ability is much, much more valuable. Pendant of second sight gives only blind immunity, but it's a Major artifact, with ai value of 5000.

Here's what I think what happened:

Initially the purpose was to create an artifact that would give +1 morale and mind immunity. However, as the description was not added, miscommunication happened, and the artifact was treated just as an "+1 morale artifact." So it was listed as treasure artifact with that value.

Likely the fact that homm2 has almost identical artifact "Medal of Courage" which gives +1 morale, played a role in this confusion.

Therefore going fully back to the old makes no sense to me, as there clearly was some sort of mistake.

I would rather see a new artifact that would give mind spell immunity, and let it be valued in a right way. Or treat Badge as Major or even relic artifact with right value with the classic ability. And then perhaps create another +1 morale treasure artifact.

Now that I think about it, it's also kinda strange that the antiberserk pendant is a treasure artifact, while the antiblind pendant is a major artifact, perhaps because AI originally could'nt cast Berserk?
Maybe they should actually both be major or minor now and with cost adjusted for the antiberserk pendant.

Maybe this is it:
Antiberserk: treasure -> minor (and more expensive)
Antiblind: major -> minor
Badge of Courage: (with mind spell immunity) treasure -> major (and more expensive)

I think Pendant of Courage would be better to give this immunity + nullify Fear of Azure Dragons.

For once i would rather power down Pendant of Courage to +2 morale +2 luck, so it doesnt replace expert leadership and expert luck.

If this is even possible I second the proposal. If not, plus 3 is quite important in HotA, cause artifacts can nullify even expert Luck or Leadership, so no.

Yeah Pendant of Courage is also a little too much, it's essentially 2 expert skills in one artifact. +2 morale and luck would be more reasonable.
