Mossad used to pay me but then while having the boss over for dinner my wife made some mighty good pie.
When the dinner was done he asked her what it was made of and she replied shrimp, proscuitto ham, cream and a zest of Saffron.
My boss stormed out and since then I was relegated to paper-work.
I'm just glad he didn't ask where our Saffron was from.

1) Total bullsnow, agree. But did you notice that the article is not in a news section? It is in resonance section. It's like blog. The author does not pretend to give truth (maybe his crazy "truth"), but his personal opinion. Do you remember, you told me not to rely on Live Journal. Same stuff here.
2) Youtube channel of a private account??? Seriously??? When is this mass media? I even decided not to spend time of watching that snow.
3) An article on TSN. Ok, this article doesn't bring trust, but I think there might have been situations when russians used civilians when capturing the bases. We have no proof and no denial of the information. I'll give you 0.5 points for this
4) And the last one. Ha-ha, man, I heard that very same news on 1st of April. It appears that cheap edition have simply reprinted fake April Fool's joke. It is not a propaganda, it is unprofessional work, which is not surprising for such a website.

Also, Ukraine is not on a brink of a civil war. It's already a civil war out there in my opinion.

Well, every snow that many people read and believe in should be considered mass media. It's not only the 5th Channel or 1+1, or whatever channels you have on TV. Many people don't watch TV, preferring internet surfing. That's how those bullsnow info sources work. Otherwise how can you explain the widely spread nonsense about 'Russian fascists on the East'? It's really childish and sounds like 'You are fool! - No, you are fool!' at the kindergarten. Ukraine has the Right Sector. Ukrainians has pursued Russian-speaking people in the regions of Lviv and especially Stryi in 90's-00's and it's not an illusion. Now such russophobia is ten times stronger. And somehow Russians has become fascists! It's a magic, my friend.
Of course, you and me don't believe in 'Putin's impotency' and other tabloid-like snow, but many people do. This is the key. The tension is so high that people are ready to believe in anything. That's how it has always been and that's how it will be - Russians will eat children, Ukrainians will cut off noses of Russians and make necklaces of them.
As for the Russian mass media, it's totally sold out and it's not a secret to anyone. We had Lenta.ru, which was recently decapitated and had a new chief, which caused all the personnel to leave as a protest.

At least it's not as bad as in Israel and Palestine. Those people have been killing each other over 70 years now. Many times with religious motives. You'd think that if god wanted any of them to win he'd made it so over at least one generation of trials.
Here it's a bit harder to know sometimes when you had Ortodox priests blessing Ukrainian troops while other Ortodox priests were lessing Russian troops in Crimea.

WHY THE snow DOES THE U.S HAVE TO BE INVOLVED IN EVERY GODDAMN CONFLICT OUTSIDE IT'S OWN snowING BORDERS? we have enough bullsnow to straighten in our own goddamn country, than to be sticking our snowing snouts in other countries' bullsnow, ALL THE TIME.
goddamn, am i SICK and tired of the u.s. "foreign policy". i say, let europe take care of this. it's at their doorstep, they should be taking care of this. then, if they NEED OUR HELP only, should we get involved then.

Anyway it is not a local conflict. The whole system of international treaties might be broken, or is already broken. UN might repeat the fate of League of Nations. So we will see what will be next.

of course russia will not attack outright. what i mean, is that the u.s. have been coming out with a lot of stuff, "explaining" why: "this is why we need to get involved as soon as possible, america. you see what these damn commies are doing?"
it's like what happened with iraq, and every other war we had no business in. "see, america? we HAVE to. they're ASKING for it."

ihor, don't take it wrong but you sound like a really naive guy. The UNO is already as useless as the League of Nations, it doesn't have the power to prevent anything which one of the permanent members of the Security Council decides to do on its own. Read the UN Charter. The whole organization is designed not to interfere with the international politics of the Great Powers.
As for the international treaties - they mean something as long as someone's willing to uphold them. Please revise the post-USSR period (and everything before it, actually). Nobody cares about treaties when there are greater interests at stake. It just so happens that Ukraine is the victim this time.

That is what I am talking. You say how it is, I say how it should be. Some kind of utopia, I agree. Current design of UN was based on a bipolar structure of our world, when there were two superpowers US and USSR.
Though, if you think that this is OK so one country can show aggression as for another country just based on a brute force, then I don't agree with you. It doesn't matter if that is US, Russia, Great Britain or Uganda. There MUST be international safeguards to avoid such situations. This is when third parties included in international treaties must react.

But see, these third parties are part of other organizations created around much more material interests than the UN or just have no power. Right now, if you want something major done on international level, you need to befriend the US, China or Russia, to a lower extent maybe some of the EU countries will help as well. There is no point in going to the UNO because it's helpless by design, during the last decade it's not even trying to pretend otherwise.

I don't think that the current "goverment" of Ukraine actually knows what the actuall snow they're doing right now.
The country is in such deep crap and all they do is spit out "amnesties" and "ultimatums".
Soon enough they'll be thrown down by the very people that supported them in the first place.
a new band of thieves basically replaced the old band of thieves. that's all there's to it.
