syria can give you that. i don't want that to happen to the states. sure, i want the dumbasses, pricks, and weaklings wiped out, but not in a way that jeopardizes the entire country. or any other, for that matter. world war would be just as bad for the environment, as it would for humanity.
and it's not like everyone and everything have bomb shelters designed for life underground. that's not a life i'd want to live.

Clinton wins the nomination, there is no longer doubt. Trump might not get enough delegates, but I can't see them "robbing" him of his nomination. It would be shocking. Have fun voting one of them
In another news Obama nominated Merrick Garland, 63, to the Supreme Court. Obama has said his goal was to find a "consensus candidate." I don't expect any cooperation from the Senate though.
Edit: Fred is right though, the rest of the world can't stand him so relations will go down the drain. PM of Britain Cameron said "If he came to visit our country, I think he would unite us all against him". He has bashed Angela Merkel in a childish way already, and they really don't like it in Germany :"Trump's candidacy has opened the door to madness, for the unthinkable to happen, a bad joke that might become reality," Even in Israel they absolutely hate him.
But the Trump voters probably just love this aspect of him as well

I suspect if the Republican party somehow did rob Trump of the nomination, it would be another giant nail in the coffin.

I find it extremely funny how everyone is getting scared of a megalomaniac businessman.
But really, everybody is inflating the risk of his presidency, it's almost as people believe he's the second coming of Hitler.
I do remember however a quote by Mussolini that said: "If you kill me now I'll return at the head of a far more powerful nation."
Honestly though, name one reason Trump is worse than Hillary.

You mean outside the rampant sexism/racism, incenting violence, openly supported by the KKK and attacking inquisitive journalists? Just scratching the surface here, but yeah, Clinton is totally just as bad...

Ahem, it is much more than that. At least for me, it represents the idolization of the "famous people", that America is insanely obsessed with. Not in a million years should a reality star, who has been so out of touch with common people for all his life, should be a president. What the heck does he care about Mexicans? He has been surrounded be all his life with "yay"-sayers, so he thinks he is the greatest creation on earth. He is dangerously delusional and out of touch with normal people.

i don't. and if you aren't worried of the outcome, then you should be. consider, that a man like this(again, he's not going to win, but think about it), going head-to-head with putin, or someone like him, with control over nuclear warheads... take a sec to think about the outcome. having a senseless leader at the helm when warmongering is the primary drive of a country's top few, who can do whatever they want as long as they convince people that it's for a good cause(or, for a different cause entirely, which has happened more than once before)...
i guess you don't remember bush jr, his team of ne'er do wells, and what they accomplished(assuming that they aren't just puppets, of course)? they still haven't been charged with anything criminal, you know. take a wild guess why nobody's going after them with lawsuits.
and they weren't hated BEFORE they came into power. imagine how warm that hatred would become if hairpiece donny assumes office... especially after he starts making a few changes(congress permitting. it could just grind everything to a halt, like it did more than a couple times due to not being able to decide anything because of in-fighting like snowING CHILDREN)...
which trump won't, but anyway. you shouldn't make light of something like this. it is far from a joke. do you think people upset over hillary being president is funny as well? if so, why?

He is a sexist, racist bigot whose ego outweighs any sort of mental capacity he has. Hillary has a brain although I do not trust her at all. Anyone know of any good immigration plans coming from the US?

I should have specified: "Apart from the old bigot answer, how is Trump worse than Hillary?"
I can't care less about what his opinions are, and a wall would be great in my opinion.
But how can we build a wall on the sea? That's the problem with Sicily...
Anyway, what I'm trying to ask is something that should be the main focus in politics, policies.

As far as policies go, he's much worse on trade and immigration, which are also his two main issues. He also wants to kill terrorists' families, in violation of the principle of "innocent until proven guilty". He's questionable on foreign policy - what will he say to the Russian, Chinese, or Iranian governments? And he's bad for political discourse in general with how coarse he is.

There are plenty of candidates who can actually relate to people. It doesn't mean their policies are good, but at least you can trust them to know what it is like... well lets say poor for example. Trump thinks that a poor person should never be elected president because they don't know what to do with the new money. Also that if they are poor they are morons. This guy would have no idea what to do with his life had he not inherited 200 million dollars
