I was watching the stream and i noticed that there were some sort of color coding going on on the creatures? What was that?
The lich had a red hood, spider had red tattoos and the skeleton had some red clothes... Was it due to the player being the "red player"? Can you turn that feature off? All this discussion about creature visuals and then they get all painted in the same color in the end... please tell me im wrong...

You got it right. That's a feature inspired by almighty Starcraft and Warcraft, as Erwan himself admitted.
More reason to play as Pink! Just imagine liches with fabulous pink hoods, skeletons in pink armor...
Ubi_fox told me that external champion dwelling produces both champions now but couldn`t understand if you can buy only 1 per week.
Also they said they will come with official statement about hero specializations.
I asked them about why Haunted Ruins battle site is so hard - we need medium level battle sites also. For now only Crusader Commandery is possible week 1 and they told me the reward is big(5 grand and major artifact..wtf big?!) and it is intended for end game. And then I told them all their battle sites for end game while in previous heroes it was not the case but they didn`t answer of course.
To sum up, we need battle sites for early, mid and end game to spice things up. Why put everything for end game lol.
More hilarious was when I asked can I mod a dwarven mine(give different resource each day) and they said no in the chat. Then I asked if certain functions are present in the script editor and they said yes to each of my questions. I have to teach them an editor I haven`t seen lol. So it is possible basically
5 grand and major artifact, by my terms, that's not even medium. End game is where you have spicy, gigantic armies(unless you're playing on some ordinary, pre-included map). I fail to see how the major **** that reward would help me. Not even one bit.
ye inside you have 300 skeletons 200 ghosts or more...reward/guard ratio is absurd. If we don`t fix it for them they won`t come with better ratio.
I don`t know what they are up to. On one hand they replied to me abandoned mine is hard to do and they don`t know if they will make it someday and then when I asked them the steps to mod such a mine on a custom map it seems not so hard. So why not do it...

I told you(or I forgot to), these guys never played old HoMMs, so they don't know the real deal. I even asked them that question, and they pretended that they didn't see it. In modern HoMMs, there isn't some real "end-game" armies like in H3 and Heroes Chronicles. Also, I hope they don't do like in MMH 6 and treat us like idiots who never knew anything about strategy at the beginning of the campaigns.

Define "real end-game armies", because in H6 you have to fight a 'boss hero' often enough to end a mission in a campaign. One example is Duke Gerhart in the fourth mission of the Sanctuary campaign.

I dunno about end-game armies but we need battle sites variety.
for week 1 - like imp cache, crypt
Battle sites for professionals at week 1 - fly hive, medusa whatever,dwarven treasury
battle sites for week 2 - cyclops cave, naga bank,conservatory
battle site for professionals at week 2 - utopia
battle sites for week 3 - utopia.
Herry is my analysis right? I never played competitive h3. Now I do backwards analysis based on my h5 skills.
I think next rant should be for variety in battle sites. I praised them they made battle sites in the game, they learned from h6 but they sh*t on the idea again. Their statement battle sites should be for end game...gimme a break.

Oh my god.... Why did we even bother with the lineup reveals and commenting on the visuals... this is a dumb decision... once again...
You would think that after H6 and the purple dungeon and all, they would know better. They were doing so well with the lineup colors until the very end when they buthcered it all again They even said they will tone dont the color identification of the units...

Exactly what i mean... this will not be something that will get praised. Even the behemoth had some colored spikes/horns on it... why did they need to ruin the models like this :/
And who ever put the inferno theme on autoplay... Shame on you! It really isnt nice to get scared like that all of a sudden. My volumes were left pretty high for some reason.. nearly pissed my pants

As for "coloured" creatures - people complained about not being able to distinguish their troops from foes' troops. That's at least is a (some) solution, though I definitely hope one can turn it off in the options, for I for example don't have any problems with defining who is who (and I'm sure I'm not the only one).

BTW we should rant about level cap. It is super easy thing to code. Just fill in the stupid experience table.
Why the level cap is beyond me. Limbic replied that it is difficult to reach level 30. So what if I want to make a super big map with lots of neutral monster to kill. I am limited because the FUN STOPS when you reach level 30 so I can make as large and epic adventure as the stupid level cap allows me..

There was a setting in the menu during the stream called "Army Presentation" which was turned on, which might give units the color of the player. Just a speculation though, it might be something else. Like the flyover during combat start (most likely with our luck ). I just hope there's an option somewhere.

Purple dungeon has nothing to do with this. H6 problem was the unified colour palette for all of a faction's creatures, not just some coloured bits and pieces.
