Completely agree...Games like Endless Legend come to mind, with its immersion breaking UI.

Except for some necropolis maps which look terribly for me, I really cannot understand how can some people like H1-4 maps more than H7...
But I guess we have just totally different tastes and expectations from games, maybe one of the few things we can agree on is that we want working game

Look, I don't disagree about "utility UIs" with no immersion value.
But we have 16:9 screen ratio now for some time, and most people play with 1600:900 or 1920:1080 resolution.
You know what that means? That you have a lot of space left & right, but NONE high & low. If you have a 1920 to 1080 resolution, it makes no sense to reduce that to 1600 to 840; 1440 to 1020 would be better.

This sums up my sentiment exactly. Playing with a bad UI is like cooking in an unorganized kitchen with blunt knives.

Up until this point there was something to talk about . New information was pumped into the thread on occasion, following a SC article.
But now everyone is running in circles (is it ok to even use this word now? ), often debating about something which has been topic of debate already. There is a need for fresh information, fresh input, to keep the machine running a little while longer.
Until then, all we can do is repeat our dissatisfaction/appreciation of the game/Ubi/Limbic/Erwan. Well...that happens all the time, even with new stuff to talk about. Dislike/Approval is at the core of everything, the foundation upon which a lot of debates are built.

Sometimes it's true. However, you-know-who has the habit of throwing the c-word to anything negative to the game, even well-argued answers. That's when there is a problem using it

Aye. It does make me wonder, however, what actually has been achieved.
A lot of determined people that still had faith in Heroes VII, after a lot has been spoken about, have just left. It makes me wonder, however, what would be their reaction when the game is compared how it was released at the start and the game at the end of the development, with the add-ons (whenever those DLC-s will arrive, if at all).
