Uh oh. This is gonna be good.
Is there any point in expressing our opinions any further?
Rather than that I'll stock up on either beer or hard liquor, take a shot everytime they say "iconic" or "best of" and see how far into the stream I make it before blacking out.
This will be Limbic stream not be Ubi, so one of the better ones.

Btw, Limbic team is hiring several people for their new unannounced project in Unreal Engine 4. I am curious what it could be.
Maybe Ubiguys will tell us that they have been simultaneously working on pre-production for H8

They'd have better chances of making MM11 than any new Heroes game. I haven't heard many complaints from MM10, aside from bugs (which are usual) and tiled terrain. There could be more, though.

There will be quite the crowd. 96% of them, people checking if there will be people there.
And yeah, if there was any hope of future stuff, I would bet on MM XI, which is, in fact, something I'm more prone to be dealing with given that I rather enjoyed MMX, although it lacked replaybility.

I think Erwin himself mentioned in some interview chances for getting MM11 are really low.
Speaking about chances, I think they would have the highest chance with Dark Messiah 2 although I have really no idea about its possible story (it wouldn't make sense but people, including me, would be happy).

The aren't even done with the pre-production of H7.
Quote: Lead Game Designer (m/f)
"You will participate in developing complex, dynamic PC and console games where your main objective will be creating the product vision and core design ideas of the games."
Tasks include:
Assisting producers in defining and prioritizing the product backlog
Multiplayer Programmer (m/f)
Tasks include:
Becoming familiar with big code bases and maintaining third-party code
Maintaining the product with technical support and bug fixes
Let's see...
1. Either the Lead Designer jumped board after having to deal with Erwin for too long or the current one was simply not good enough. Then again we don't know if they will deal with the "backlog" that is H7 or something else that will be a console title as well.
2. Multiplayer programmer dealing with third party code... Did they actually outsource the multiplayer development of the game as well? At least this is a further clue that they intend to work on H7.

You mean, they still didn't manage to beat the brand to pieces and they may have to screw up yet another game to finally reach their goal?
Scary thought, really.

The concept "backlog" actually stems from scrum methodology. You see scrum pop up all over the place these days in companies as a preferred way to handle projects piece by piece.
Basically, you have what are called "sprints", which span at most a period of four weeks. In that time, whatever tasks are defined within that spring have to be created and finished. If it doesn't fit within four weeks, it has to be cut up in smaller pieces, each finished in their own sprint. Once a sprint is finished, a new one is started, taking on the next chunk. Each sprint is also evaluated, to see what went good - but moreso, what went wrong, along with suggestions to improve. Those improvements should then be used during the next sprint.
All the items dealt with across all the sprints are initially placed on what's called a backlog. Once an item is finished, it's removed from that backlog. Along the development, new items may be added to the backlog. When an item is picked up in a sprint, actions are defined for it, which have to be performed within that sprint.
This is called scrum, closely related to agile, another form of project management. It helps break down projects down to bite-size chunks which can be overseen, hopefully bringing structure to the development of whatever the project aims to achieve.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea. But wasn't Dark Messiah somewhat short? And using that Unreal Engine seems a bit too much for a spin-off game, which could be just a short one.

MMX was ok-ish. But I still think that Clash of Heroes was the best thing Ubi did for M&M franchise (after H5 Tribes of the East, of course).

Same here, I really doubt this next project of Limbic has anything to do with the M&M brand. The days where Ubisoft would pour down money onto various spin-offs are long gone.

Do you guys really believe Ubilimbic have enough creativity in them to come up with a new IP? Unless ofc it is a post apocalyptic horror game where Vivendi have taken over the world.

Probably going to make another unicorn-collecting-fruits game, or were horses?
And if they happened to make another MM game, then I would prefer it to be like MM 6, 7, 8.

You know, I'll actually be quite sad if this is the end of the series. I know Ashan unpopular with a lot of the fans, but I still want to know what happens after Dark Messiah.
