Wait, I'm confused.
Is the Wolf Horseman mostly wolf, horse or man?

The answer?
You decide!

Anyway, as you can tell from that aside, I'd rather not change the name back to something bland. Swordbearer, as much as I already liked it, is gone. However, calling him a Wolf Warrior is even more bland. It'e be like calling a vampire a "Bat Biter", or a Minotaur "Bull Man".
In fact, I do rather like Landsknecht even more than Sword Master, as that too is rather boring.
I also find it funny how many people want more myth or "real world" connections, and less cliche, yet the second they name something that is a real-world connection, and isn't cliche, people gang up on it. What do you want?

Well it couldn't be Knight or Paladin, as these are used as Hero classes in recent games.
Although this was for the Cavalier, the reasoning still stands.
As for Crusader, I don't know. What crusade are they going on? Taking back the "holy land" from those orcs or something? Getting fervent over the misuse of dragonblood crystals of late?
I don't know the answer, but I so far don't mind.

Saving them for Hero classes, maybe? Just saying, compare the H6 Tears hero Paladin and this image found on the Haven faction screen...

Y'all like to complain, eh? They saw our dislike of swordbearer, changed its name to landsknecht, wich suits it, what with this unit belonging to Germany-based Wolf Duchy and all, and you STILL find something to be angry about

Pretty sure the thing people didn't care about the swordbearer wasn't its name... >_>
Personally, I might still refer to them as "swordbearer" for both synergy with the upgrade's name and ease of pronunciation.
Also, "Germany-based Wolf Duchy"? I've gotten a much stronger Roman vibe than anything else. I really don't know where the whole Germany basis thing came from, save for this rename.

On the topic of renames (and no, I'm not going back to "Abbot sounds silly" thing), what about the whole "Magic Bird / Arcane Bird" thing? It sounds so... bland. At the very least, it lacks the majesty that a big glowy Champion tier avian deserves.
(I find that the Heroes franchise makes me use the descriptor "big glowy" for a lot of things: big glowy deer, big glowy horse, big glowy bird... )

What's the Ashan stance on Rocs/Rukhs/Shahrokhs?
Would it be problematic to apply those names instead?
Everything is Ashan is either a hybrid, shiny or magic anyway.

Pawek_13 said: I started to wonder. If Celestials still exist, this means that the Hall of Memories (this is the English name, right?) was not destroyed, so the canon ending of MMH:6 is the Blood one. Pity.
As far as I am aware, both endings are canon. Both Micheal and Kate were killed. As far as the Seraph producing facility (I don't remember it's name), that was destroyed, I believe, however, that did not cause the existing Seraphim to drop out of the sky. And since Micheal created a lot of them, enough appear to be around for the goings-on of HVII. New Seraphim cannot be created, but there are many of them and it will take a while for them all to be struck down.
In the Q&A sessions Erwan and Marzhin did a while back, they stated such a thing, but if you're realy interested, it will have to be looked up. In the same sessions, Marzhin stated that he believed that the Fallen Angels/Seraphim of HV were the last of their kind and their anger caused them to side with "Red Haven", however Erwan denied that was the case immediatly afterward.

Thunderbird = Roc/Rukh. Rukh is the way the human natives of Sahaar call a Roc. Rocs are major Air Spirits associated with Thunderstorms (who woulda guessed). They are incredibly rare and powerfull. They are the Ylath versions of the Dragon Eel, essentially.
Their power and rarity makes them exclusively boss material.

Welp, I guess they lore'd themselves into a corner then
Nothing left to say other than that I feel single creature bosses are very out place in a turn-based strategy game.
