Not necessarily. The Thunderbird was a boss in Heroes VI, it doesn't mean it has to be a boss in every single game. Just like Cate was a Black Dragon boss in H6 and that didn't prevent having Balck Dragons in the Dungeon line-up of the add-on.
That said, in any case the bird of the H7 Academy is supposed to be a different kind of creature than the Rokhe/Thunderbird.

I bet a Landshrekt can solo that Black Dragon with one hand tied behind his back.

Aren't angels and namatarus almost the same things as black dragons in Ashan?

Namtaru's yes perhaps, but angels not. Angels are like faceless, humans, dwarfs, elves and naga's an elder race. Although angels are definitely the most powerful of those. On top of that seraphs are a mix between angels and humans and only the oldest and most powerful (celestials) come close to angels in power.
I was just disappointed that black dragons went from (one of) the most powerful creatures in the franchise to a squishy butterfly, while the vanilla showed us at least a mighty butterfly.

Siegfried was able to kill Dragon in fantasy and its fine.
But on other hand warrior in fantasy game with dragon blood in his veins which makes him super human can't.

Because it's a population able for hire weekly.
Because the real deal has 100% dragon blood.
That's not mentioning the physical impossibilities of slaying a dragon. You think it's like a walk in the park? You'd crap your pants only seeing something 10 meters tall able to fly, breathe fire, cleave, tail swipe and with skin harder than a shield.

I feel it's weird that the highest ranking angel in Christian theocracy is the weakest in the Heroes game. But in h5 they were on a par with archangels, why are they now weaker than normal angels?

On one of Polish fansites, called Behemot's lair, the introduction to modding was a mod which would give peasants power of black dragons.
