To be honest, as much as I despise when people start acting like a furious mob, they walked right into that.
What did they expect, that people would suddenly like what they heavily criticized during HVI?
Uncle lich and the overabundance of spider imagery in the previous iteration were, as far as I remember, greatly despised by part of the community (though I can't say how big), so bringing them back in HVII wasn't a very wise choice.
Of course, death threats or fire requests are absolutely unacceptable, but, as I said, they almost asked for it...

Well, this sort of suggests they are going to implement some for of moderation:

Speaking about Necropolis, this whole situation made me realise one thing - I do not care about graphics at all. Heroes may be a game of tables only but as long as fighting them with your own tables would play well, I have nothing against it. I will most probably like Necro because it has a proper Necromancy, not the next healing spell like in Heroes VI (this was an abomination, not the spider cult, at least in my opinion).
A puddle = homm7 soon, as they WILL cancel that horrid game anyway.

If they do cancel it wouldn't you miss it? Let me elaborate on that topic. Your activity sees its peak with Heroes VII information. We all know this game (according to you, at least) will turn out to be a disaster and you remind others about your opinion every other day or even daily. If Heroes VII would be cancelled (what I highly doubt will happen), then what are you going to critisize. You need all that information from dev team in order to survive and to be visible, otherwise no one would give a damn about your opinion and you would disappear. If the game is cancelled, on what would you freeload and what would make you infamous on this forum? Tell me, I really want to know.

Why? Titans.
In Warcraft lore, most of the worlds were visited by a probably spacefaring* race called Titans. On some worlds they made minor alterations, in others (incl. Azeroth) they made alot bigger changes. This includes creating new races and creatures and leaving artifical Guradians to safeguard the world or some important Titan structures.
They might be using magitech or a combination of technology and magic but mostly they seem to be acting in the same/similar way as The Ancints.
Even the Burning Legion and Kreegans are pretty similar. Although BL is a strongly magical and resides in another dimension (+ on some planets), their main purpose is corrupting and/or destroying worlds. They have different reasons for doing that (destroying the work of the titans), but every world is usually destroyed or turned into a legion base.
*Lore is hazy about how they travel, but some sources have hinted that they didn't use twisting nether (that is the primarily way of moving between worlds)

DO you really think I care? I would try so much harder if I really cared, HOMM is dead for me since ashan arrived. I just want to make fun here, with many other people that think alike.
There is always Mortal Kombat X and THe Witcher 3 for people like me. I wish Erwan could be a guest character in Mortal Kombat x, that would be fun.

If you think that WC is the reason why they chose green, that's fine, you're allowed to you opinion. Frankly i think that the association of green with poison to the point that googing "Poison Bottle" leads to a rows and rows of bottles filled with neon green liquid is much more likely, but as you please.
On the same note, i dont see how you extrapolated spikes in one undead unit to being the inspiration of all the spikes in the necropolis units (instead of the reason being H6 stylistic choice which is why we have a Haven covered in wings, a Stronghold covered in feather, a Dungeon covered in purple and eyes, etc)
And yes, the Warcraft 3 faction does have mesopotamic influence, a building called zigurat and a necropolis that is based in one... Which were basically dropped by WoW era and happen look completely different to the Heroes 6/7 buildings other than sharing the same inspiration and, now that leads to my final point: It's not that the Necropolis and WC undead dont share some elements which inspired the faction looks (green, mesopotamian architecture, spiders) it's just that that they're done so differently to the point that calling the Heroes one a ripoff of the WC one because they shared SOME of the inspirations is simply invalid (except when talking about the Vampire knight)
