Well, on Gamescom interviews they (Erwan, Marzhin, etc...) said several times the release date was in 2015, but still didn't have an exact date since they still have to make a lot of stuff.
It looks like they are more flexible this time around.

I'm sure the release date will be the fourth quarter of 2015 so basically a full year will pass between the decision of the remaining faction and the release date.

Listening to fans and implementing every single idea are 2 different things - albeit I consider sim turns one of the higher priority ones as well.
sims turns ? it s a breaking point. why don t just warn players with an huge SPAM saying with terror "U RE UNDER ATTACK !!!" . I guess sim turns won t be implemented cause it s not an evolution who make the game better, it makes the game less strategic and easier to play.

No it doesn't and I consider it pretty much a must. Sim turns reverts to turn based when you get near the opponent so it doesn't change your experience in the least. It just speeds up the game.

Elvin, are you at liberty to reveal approximately when we might get some new content from the website? Even something as small as one creature reveal?

I am never sure if you are being serious
Anyway, if your question is valid, during Sim turns, you still each play one turn and then start the next turn together (i.e. if you finish your turn quicker than your opponent, you must still wait until they finish their turn). Sim turns is a must as it speeds up games without taking away the essence/strategies of the game.

Ah, okay. I guess that makes sense.
Never been subjected to it myself.
Edit: Wait, if you run into your opponent on the AM with move points to spare, then who moves first?

And how is it determined whose turn it is when both played at the same time?
The order of the players?

Sim Turns speed up online multiplayer games a lot, I'd be dissapointed if we didn't have them at game release.

Doesn't that eliminate the possibilty of surprise attacks or encounters?
When the game turns into turn based again, you'll just know that the other player is somewhere close.

I'm really astonished that there's so much confusion about Simultaneous turns. Didn't anyone play Tribes of The East on multiplayer? What Elvyn is talking about is exactly how it was executed in that game, and it didn't at all take away from the gameplay. I considered it pathetic that Heroes 6 didn't have this function.
Essentially each player takes their turn at the same time, but no-one can get ahead of the other. You're always on the same day of the week/month. As soon as both players can see some portion of the same map, no matter how small, then the game removes the simultaneous turns. In no way does this prevent a sneak attack. It's entirely possible that your explorer encountered an area of the map that your opponent's explorer-hero did weeks before. This mechanism takes zero away from the turned based strategy and entirely speeds up the beginning of the game.

While I'm a huge fan of simultaneous turns, if I could only pick 1 or 2 "Musts" then this wouldn't be one of them. I put a Map Editor as #1, and having the game come with at least 15 well-made maps to play as #2. Heroes 6 failed to have a viable map editor, and I was very disappointed to load the game and find that it came with only a couple of maps. It felt like I bought a Heroes Campaign and that was it.
My #3 would likely be having at least 6 factions out of the box, with #4 being simultaneous turns.

So does that mean when the game removes sim turns it will stay like that until the end of the game?

In H5: TotE it was like that.
Ideally, there should be some chance of resuming ST if both players got enough distance between them.

Why release something only once, when you can release it several times over? Builds more hype that way.
As far as the story goes, I'm skeptical. They've not the greatest trackrecord as far as writing is concerned.
