I might ask what they consider to be the greatest challenge in making the H7 game? What brings them the most headaches

Not... well... let me think... OK, here it is:
So far we were told about how Heroes of Might and Magic 7 will be better then Heroes 6 but so far we see not only many things used from Heroes 6 like: adventure map, creatures and heroes 3D models or only 3 types of external dwelling creatures generators (instead of for example 7 like in Heroes 3) and now we see that heroes have classes nearly same as in Heroes 6 (but instead neutral, tears and blood ones we have 3 types of starting classes) and - to add insult - they have the same boring (read: +X to stat Y instead for example +X% to stat Y per Z levels) speciality as in Heroes 6.
So how this game will be different from Heroes 6 in terms of gameplay, heroes development and skills progress?

Not all nagas have snake hair - see Katsue or Yume. They also very likely use only the features of the Elder races. Dragons and other beings you mentioned probably perceive them - as ironic as it sounds - as faceless humanaoids, beings of pure light.

I don't get the motive behind this question. Are you trying to imply that Angels with their facial expression warped into resembling more the race of the viewer is not a humanoid? Otherwise, yes, I know what a humanoid is, lol.

Well, I myself suspect that to be the case, that there are creatures able to see Angels for what they are. But until we have confirmation that such exceptions exist, we are led to believe that the rule of appearing with the characteristics of the viewer's race apply to all races.

So not wanting to be rude, but from the somewhat interesting discussion that could follow between you and Marzhin about the issue, what I see is there is no problems to get a half-Elf in the Academy faction, however it seems that any other kind of hybrids encounters countless problematics.

Preeeetty sure an eight eyed monster face is not humanoid. lol. By definition it needs to resemble a human.
Edit: For clarification humans have 2 eyes so a humanoid has to have 2 eyes too. Just like needs to have two hands etc.

Humanoids are bipedal creatures with the basic defined concepts of limbs and something like a head. An Ettin is also a humanoid, for instance, despite it having two heads. Some dictionaries define it as "having human form or characteristics".

I think humanoids are all creatures which got the same corporal planes and regions like a human, regardless of number of limbs/eyes/appendages. For example: vertical pose, torso, limbs, head etc. For example Cthulhu is an humanoid despite having wings and an octopus face, but also Hekatonkheires are humanoids, despite having 100 arms.

I remember an article where it talked about humanoid eyes etc, but the term can be used in that way too it appears. Terms terms...
