@cori14 yhea there was but they didn't forced down with the collector edition it was some sort of exclusive collectors edition ... watch the video

P.S. fore me it redirects me to the ubishop where the price for the collectors edition is 100 EUR + 5 EURO for shipping ... so yeah bonkers if it were 70 I could have lived without the statue even the beta bait I could live without ... I guess I will wait reactions from those how get in the beta hope to also see some gameplay until I decide, but so far is a NO for me.

That statue looks cool, but It doesn't seem like It got the game dvd with it.
A webshop in my country tells that they will be selling beta keys for 0,3$. I don't know how accurate this is by the way.

Archangel Michael figurine was sold as exclusive product and was not included in any HoMM6 game version.

no offense but I disagree, especially with the "oh that's the way it is" non-argument, which implies we ought to just accept anything put in front of us,
the Dungeon is tied only to the Faceless in Ashan, and unlike Minotaurs the Dark Elves have no legacy in the rest of the series linking them to that faction, so it's obvious to me that they can and should be a sideshow at best in that lineup, but instead they are dominant for no reason and we are supposedly to blame for this lol

It's not just the Dark Elves presence alone but the fact they are replacing the theme of older Heroes Dungeon/Warlock - that is, an underground city (not in H1/H2 though) filled with several mythical creatures, leaning more towards evil than good. And let's be honest, neither of Ashan two iterations have been great (first a Warhammer copy, then a purple mess).
The same could be said about Necropolis (the only thing it has in common with NWC Necropolis is having creatures labelled undead).

I think that in Heroes VI lineup outweighted the omnipresent purpleness but I agree, it was a little bit too much.

Right, I guess it is now safe to say that if you value your sanity and the power of your braincells, the Shadow Council is better off avoided. There's one guy spamming up the place, JEmo is ranting his usuals, and the Sandro-movement is doing their thing.
Mods are going to be busy today. I hope they'll give a new article, to which I will try to respond if there's room for it. It'll prolly get buried anyway.

Is he? I've been active on the Shadow Council for quite a while yesterday and I haven't seen JEmo for quite a while. I must have missed him in the sea of Sandros...

It's their own damn fault for not taking the feedback about the post count. Instead of preventing spam and trash comments, they let them happen and then delete it. How brilliant is that.

I agree.. I just hope it is a first phase of a beta or that it will be followed by an open beta sometime later. I just want a bug-free game at release.
Oh well at least I hope someone will crack it so we can continue testing it

Some companies rely on volunteers for testing.
The there's Ubi who charges people to do the testing.

So people would rush to pre-order to secure the beta access? Maybe they tried to pull off a marketing scheme but failed lamentably?
