Very nice! Can someone please do a similar compilation of other factions?? Would be great to see in comparison.
I agree that Elite tier is oversaturated with elves. However I'm also not a fan to have less then 3 humans/elves/etc..so my proposition would be:
How great would it b to replace blade dancer with... Wait for it...
Unicorn Rider?! That would be awesome. You can give him two swords for all I care. We need more mythical creatures for this franchise, not less!
Or even better... Since Sylvan has deficit in flyers, what about our old and forgotten friend...

Bear, Tiger and Giant Mantis... There is literally nothing worse than turning Sylvan into a giant Zoo. I am not sure why would people love to see those units? Why are they so special?
At least use some mystical, magical, mythological creatures, from other folklore or some creatures from the universes that other companies/writers created.
You might as well rename Sylvan to Animal Planet.

Well, the best possible way to give Sylvan Flyers but also keep it's offensive feel would be to remove the Moon Doe and replace it with the Sun Stag and that to be upgraded to an Emerald Knight, meaning a Stag mounting elven Knight.
That way, the Humanoid elf units will be down by 0.5 and this gives us a spot free for elite. That spot i feel should be taken up either by a Unicorn/Alicorn unit, meaning a Unicorn that gains Flying in the upgraded form, thus giving the old iconic unit a new air and new mechanics.
Alternatively, as mentioned before, Mantises, Forest Guardians, heck even a plant monster or the treant himself could be moved to the spot for elite.

Nice ideas with the Unicarn/Alicorn, would be pretty awesome  but a big NO for the mantis thou  bugs are just too creepy and yuck!

smirk has grown on me. I really don't mind it: adds some playfulness to the game. something sorely missing.
still, should've been some creature but still better than what was advertised.

I think Articun forgot to mention to also get rid of the Blade Dancer, as he introduces the Unicorn again as a Sylvan unit in the Elite range. That's only possible if a slot is freed up  .

Overall Sylvan is a colourful faction, which is great - H6 monochromatic factions still haunt me. I do agree on changing Oak Dryads to a blue colour, the upgrade is barely different from the base unit and it'd make sense with the synergy thingy with the treant.
With regards to the line-up, I disagree with part of it (namely Elites, yuck), but it has some classics so it's not all bad.

Well, I can't come up with a better name for a winged unicorn (It's what it's called in my little ponies xD), i think most people will understand Alicorn, Articun for example used it a couple of comments above. And it sounds better than Pegacorn.

I like the wise and perspicacious owl concept, some would prob say it's cliché, I like it anyway lol.
If we look at Arianrhod, the celtic goddess of fertility, she used to shapeshift into a sacred owl to see into the depths of the human soul. She is also the goddess of rebird and time/fate like our Asha.

Personally, I didn't like of what they showed as emerald knights. That was one of the reasons I did prefer the bladedancer at that time.

Pixie / Sprite
Dryad / Oak Dryad or Satyr / Satyr Hoplite
Archer / Hunter
Druid / Elder Druid
Sun Stag / Emerald Knight
Unicorn / Alicorn
Green Dragon / Emerald Dragon
Treant / Ancient Treant
and/or Phoenix / Greater Phoenix or Prime Phoenix

Am I the only one who would replace the Blade Dancer with the Emerald knight? Both got similar roles, so it wouldn't really move mountains.
Beside, the blade dancer's design seems off compared the other elves and the emerald knight is a fresh concept...

I liked the emerald warrior concept better but as far as gameplay goes it's an elite blood fury. I would prefer something more offensive.

The blade dancer!!! Hahahha. The emerald knight wouldn't work with the whole nature theme due to his armour.
Again i love this line up so much. I cant wait to see the rest of the 3d models and how the sun stag plays.the stag was one of the reasons i voted for this.

Well the armor would not be much of a problem considering the slim and close sitting design presented in the first artworks during vote the vote. The feathers, that is another problem...
