Everything sounds fine so far.

I'm designing some heroes for the line ups. I suggest you guys, if you had some time, to make 1-2 vanilla heroes too for your factions, to help illustrate the synergy between commander and armies.

Well it's not like we haven't thought about it, we thought about the gameplay part (hero classes, magic system, skill system etc.) so it would be similar to Inolin, combining both old and new, the best mechanics with new interesting additions and we already had some ideas but we haven't even finished all the faction here, we are still gonna publish last two factions: Pyramid and Rampart

but for now we are on short hiatus considering those factions

In the meantime the themes have now titles!

Posting the playlist also here because not everybody checks the main post (I will also update it when we add more themes)

Necropolis song is nice. I picked that one days ago to use as the Battle theme for Necropolis. Just now I found one good for the Forge town screen.

I'll comment a bit about this and that on your propositions. The first, from the Necropolis line-up, Zombies. I'm going to use a spell Plague which actually is carried about those who are infected. Meaning that when one is under the effect of plague, it'll contaminate other troops who get next to them. The interesting mechanics of it is that any unit can be plagued (except unsubstantial), but not all of them will suffer the plague effect (which you can choose what to do with it). I would suggest using this ability somewhere with your zombie, making it even more annoying strategically. Or maybe give it as a Plaguing Aura to the Zombie Dragon, for example, in addition to the biting effect.

The second for now is regarding your Shaman's Trance. Usually, it's said quite the opposite when you are in trance, you become unaware of your surroundings making you more vulnerable. I would suggest that the Trance ability could surmount magical prowess for the next turn, increasing this unit's magic capabilities, say, increasing 20% magical effects. Of course, it doesn't stack waiting bonuses, only for the next round. As a penalty, waiting two times in a row makes your shaman lose concentration, to avoid abuse, losing bonuses for the following round, or maybe having a 10% penalty over magical effects.

That's all for now.

P.s.: another thing I noticed is your Roc/Thunderbird. Seeing that it's a hunting beast and also that you already have other units with pushing effects in your line-up, it feels a bit more convenient that this giant bird of prey actually holds and carry their enemy and wants them next to it. Just a thought: you could use the Roc to hold an enemy unit (which would only be able to attack the Roc with decreased damage, whilst the Roc cannot retaliate or attack, thus releasing the prey) and the Roc could actually move that unit about, say, for the halved movement points, halved speed, initiative. Also, while holding a unit, a Roc makes itself vulnerable to third-party attacks, but also, can bring an annoying enemy unit with it to the middle of your other units to be taken down. Rocs, of course, cannot carry large units. And there should also have a number limitation to each Roc being able to carry, to avoid 1 Roc carrying 300 thousands murderous elves.

Continuing the holistic view reading Bastion, so far this faction seems the most creative from them.

- Damsel fly's swarming ability sounds interesting!
- Toad conception (of using secretions to offense and defense) is quite well-thought.
- Myconid also has points to creativity.
- Lizard man has a "stinger" explanation which I don't know if it was meant to be there, was it?
Basilisk petrification seems too uninportant in face of other unit's abilities, almost like an echo for Incapacitation, you see. I would rework Petrification mechanic.
- Catoblepas also feels like being a bit less than its symbolic appeal.
- Ferocious Attack and multi-headed ability looks very similar, or am I interpretating something wrong?

Down the Sylvan lane now.

- Reading Pixie and Spriggan units descriptions make me wonder they are usually very good in contrast with the feeling of some high tier units. Probably to make them scalate ok throughout the game?
- Glade Spirit has Swift listed again after Agility explanation.
- Centaur has limited shots. Does that mean that you guys envisioned ranged units to have unlimited shots?
- Damage description for Warden's Offensive March is messed up.
- Magic Siphon will revive stances of units?
- With the Treant, you now have three Entagling-capable units.
- Feeling like T7 units needed a flourish, but that's just me.

Academy

- Feels very strategical, which is a good vibe about it.
- Garuda as another strike and return being and with no retaliation. Isn't that basically another harpy regarding abilities? Stronger one, of course.
- How does Sphinx's Dampen Magic ability differ from Unicorn's aura?
- Crystal Body for Dragon Golem's is what I was talking about 'flourish'. ^_^
