I disagree, because:

1) They hit hard but fall just as fast if you know how to hit them.
2) OP creatures are FUN

BTW how many gems do I need to fully level up lvl 90 creatures? I could evolve a couple from 75 as I got the items but am afraid to be short on gems.

Phoenix's skill is severly burning one target (the exploding thing) and slightly burning the others. Also heals him. It's nice for a dungeon boss, but not so good for a trained creature. Even if you explode a boss, he'll manage to unleash e.g. Supernova and wipe your team.

Yay, made it in the top 10 of my leaderboard with 10k prestige. It was a good effort, I hope I get to end this way. These guys this time were absurdly strong as well, level 200 and even 300!

I discovered this game a few days ago when I read an Interview with JVC where it was mentioned and for a mobile game it's really fun. Normally those mobile games don't even last a day before I quit and delete them but it seems that even after all these years JVC still knows how to create games with a certain "magic" that appeal to me.

I would be happy to join you in the HC Kreegan guild the next time you have an open spot left.

The guild was first created for HCers, we started adding outsiders as we were too scarce of a group to score and the guild rewards are the only ones (?) who give prismatic orbs, which are very valuable as they allow to reroll combo dots without spending diamonds.

The group we have now seems dedicated for most part so I would feel bad kicking someone out now, just one day left before the rewards. However send a request anyway and I'll add you for next challenge, which should be in a couple of days.

Oh no I wouldn't want that you kick someone from the guild for me especially with the event ending soon. I will gladly wait until a spot is open. But it seems like I can't send a join request for now because the guild is set to invite only.

Good to know that there is a another way to get those combo changer orbs besides the special packs in the shop. 25 crystals for one combo change is way too much in my opinion especially because the outcome of the change is random. I had to reroll the combo points of one of my creature 5 times before it finally had a combination that I could use with my current team. I still have some other creatures I really would like to use but I don't want to spend so much crystals for the combo point change.

I agree with you as most become very redundant button pushers that always have you chasing the same "meta" characters/teams.

I especially love the Dungeon feature where we need to utilize various size creatures in big groups which can make a lot of these early starting monsters useable and adds longevity to our gameplay. I can't wait to see other Dungeon configurations we can make

My siren has a single target heal and cleanse but i never know who has been targeted by the flames of the phoenixand even she as a water creature dies instantly..i hate phoenixes! And yeah i got a fully awakened Light ellemental...it feels kinda OP (squishy though).

I think that one and phoenix might actualy get a nerf

Edit: Hungrydragon I got an issue I'd like to address. Sometimes when a creature is revived (phoenix, by unicorn,hunchback). The revived character does not shop up. You can attack it but it won't die but it will attack your team....i only encountered this like 4 times now with no understanding whatsoever. Just a small bug I think


I'll be totally honest and I don't understand 'shop up'.  

Is the situation that an enemy creature revives, but you either 1) not able to attack it, or 2) not able to deal damage?  This sounds rather serious either way, because Creatures that can revive are very popular.

Just FYI - it goes up to 50 crystals for legendary creatures. So my advice is to spend the 25 gems and save prismatic orbs for legendary creatures only. I agree its too expensive, when potentially you have to reroll a creature or two every time you are creating a new team.

On that note, it's worth mentioning that, depending on their special ability, some creatures seem to actually do better just having their combo orbs transfer into extra mana rather than act as a multiplier. For example a healer that can heal more often may be more useful than one that can throw down a huge heal (thanks to combo multiplier) once in a while, but with half the team already dead..

Oops i meant show up. And i can attack but the creatures dont get damage. It happens only like 1 in 20 games to me. Maybe it has to do when killing it with a certain skill? My team consists of a cyclop, siren, vampire, drakanoid and light ellemental

I believe there had been some issues with counterattacks not playing nicely with certain revive effects. I'll start trying to track this down; thanks very much for the head's up!

So this is my main party.



I am very happy with it, only problem is there is no blue creature but I can't have all colors alongside a white and a black. It was basically all built around the Dark Elf as is a four dots creature for max combo, which is the only creature from the party I didn't reroll.
As you can see they all need a green creature, so I am very happy with my Forest Guardian as he has strong HP and also his ability stuns, to delay more immediate threats like Supernova if others don't have their mana full yet. As you can see, my Muse gets many dots from her buddies so her mana fills quite fast and the mass heal along mass dispel largely makes up for it being an inferior creature: it is not even epic, only rare, yet without her my party could not go as far as it does actually, I tried to replace her with the Couatl for a bit which is Epic, but naha, the Muse is better. The luck buff is also far from being negligible. On top of it, these double colors, not only are beneficial for mana but also trigger combos without needing too much creatures: Muse needs one so she comes second position, Gold Dragon needs two so it comes third position, and so on. To be completely perfect I would love it if the Dark Elf had also a yellow dot to get highest possible combo but he already deals very good damage and I don't spit on the extra mana for the Muse. Still, if it was possible to reroll only one (or more but chosen) dots as I suggested earlier it would be great, as of now randomly rerolling all four of them is out of the question.
I have to confess I am more than happy with the combo rerolls because I got really lucky and hadn't done that much rerolls for these creatures. I also adapted to the luck, so to speak. The Forest Guardian could get better colors, but it's alright as he acts first it doesn't matter that much here.
So regarding multipliers I get a x2 for the Muse, a x4 for the Drag, and minimum x8 for both Phoenix and Dark Elf, and the mana fills decently fast. I can assure this team is really working, I can pass any map at Prince difficulty even the Great Wish ones quite easily, and completed Battle Tower until level 48 (stuck at 49). King on the other hand, will need to level them up a tad more (for those that I can, so three of them). To note that they almost all have +50 totems each for each stat. Don't underestimate totems, they really make the difference!

Creating teams is really a part of the game I really enjoy because there is so many possibilities! Depending on the abilities your creature get, how to deal with randomly assigned dots (even after rerolls, I also never expect the rerolls to be too specific, but I have a general idea, the Phoenix most particularly was REAL lucky as the first reroll gave me the perfect combination I needed for this team), in which order you trigger, how you adapt in the eventually one member dies, etc. Really great stuff.

I can't wait to have a solid B team which would revolve more around a legendary blue creature with at least three but preferably four dots I have yet to acquire...

Really nice summary and that is indeed a great team.

I'm starting to think I have to do a bit more reading on how combo dots work in relation to mana gain. You are saying that, throughout a full battle, your Forest Guardian would collect more mana if he had a yellow or black combo dot rather than the blue? I didn't realize it worked like that and just thought any unused combo dot transferred to mana.. whole other aspect to consider I guess!

Ofc he converts the blue dot to mana when he hits. It's just that because it's blue it can't enter a combo state, there's no blue creature to steal it from him.

What app did you use to capture the portraits, Galaad?
