Some other things:
- Same resources for runes of the same tier. No fear of running out of crystal if you get both rune or incorporeality and battlerage at the same time.
- Swift attack for shadow mistresses. Invisibility is one way to avoid retaliation but it's unreliable and only works once. Now you can prevent enemy retaliation by slowing them.
- Extra resources for the arcane library.
- Marksman precise shot within 4 tiles.
- Puppet formula closer to H5.5.
- Revised buff/curse bonuses and duration.
- Free finger artifact for 25% cold protection. Now cold death will allow phoenix and ballista to survive with 25% hp. Ice immunity removed from phoenix.

A stronghold random for the third time in a row, leaves something to be desired. A poor build choice against my Dungeon opponent, but I would never have thought of going into 2 types of shatter. I feel like in order to win stronghold really has to predict the opponents build well, but in this game my leadership build ended up helping him kill me quicker with mass decay, frenzy and puppet master. I went shatter destruction, he went into both dark and destructive magic. Corrupted soil was just the icing ontop. He also had a really good initiative order, getting a turn with blood sisters, dragons and his hero before I had a chance to react. In the first 3 creature moves my army was basically dead.

I wouldn't go as far to pick two shatters, if anything I favour defense over a shatter. Initiative did not seem out of place, I'm guessing stevie got swift mind. If not, playing so early is really really rare. I think most of the damage was done by lack of defense and that early firebreath hitting two of the most crucial orc units(and of course furies being in the right place to take down the executioners' rage first). Might have turned out a little differently if the dragons were taunted but aanyways.
Meanwhile gameslayer's brutes taught my dragons a lesson. Beware the Farmers of Hate!
Meanwhile the weekend is upon us and there are still some games pending. What should we do about the deadline? Extend till Friday?

I am so bothered that hero with 3 spell power can cast full scale berserk twice...
Just a mere statistics. Every time I have played against a hero with dark on this map 80% of the casts go for berserk the other 15% go for puppet. Why is that happening?
Thats it!!! I believe all spells have their right to be played here! Join the movement #AllSpellsMatter!

Get to playing people!  There will be no more deadline extensions!
In other news, I am planning to include armageddon in the cup version but not for all races. Due to balancing concerns, only 4 factions will have access to it: Dungeon, inferno, necro and academy. Empowered armageddon has been disabled due to a number of serious bugs like not working with master of fire or ignite and completely ignoring warmachines.
Things you should know:
- Armageddon applies master of fire to both players! This makes everyone vulnerable to physical attacks.
- Ignite only affects enemies.
- The 4x4 area in the middle of the battlefield receives extra physical damage.
- Irresistible spells bypass blackie immunity and can thus apply master of fire debuff.
- It costs 25 mana and has 25 sp modifier.
- Resistance recommended

Played agaisnt The_Green_Dragon. I randommed Stronghold. Again. He randommed Necro. Necro vs Stronghold. Again. This time he went destructive magic, offence, defence and dark magic. I went Empathy, offence and first aid tent, with shatter dark. Almost no morale procs, yay! I did not have shatter destructive, but he didn't have cold death, so it took a while for him to win instead of the game being instantly over.

Stronghold can use brutal charge with tactics, aura of swiftness, retribution, defense, shatter dark and luck/enlightenment + battle cry.
Something like this:
1. Exp Bloodrage + Memory of our blood.
2. Exp Leadership + Aura of swiftness + Battle elation.
3. Exp Att + tactics + retribution.
4. Exp Defense
5. Exp Shatter dark
6. Exp Enlightenment or exp luck - enlightenment is better, but its hard to get and luck + magic resistance is not bad either.
Tactics is great tech vs magic factions, as its hard for them to pick att + tactics and defense and still manage to get a good magic build.
Ahh, and the strategy is CHARGE NOW THINK LATER (or never ).

I am not sure if Aura of swiftness exists on this map (Elvin can you help here? where we can find it?) same will go for enlightenment, Elvin removed it. Also all artifacts that increase speed are gone or changed.
Shatter dark is waste of skill on the current map because it does not affect puppet enough to matter too much. Also it doesn't matter if berserk is 2 or 1 turns. Yes it reduces the impact a lot but this still cripples greatly your tactical positions and renders units unavailable.
On top of that Necropolis starts with greater army to compensate for necromancy skill, though I am not sure the units given resemble 5-week of exponential level up increase.
Basically Puppet + Frenzy have a great edge on this map currently.
There was replay from yesterday where Knight with 3 spellpower can cast twice or trice full scale berserk. This means that one hero has both Might and Magic edges.

Hm... There is some magic done by Elvin I believe !
My first game against Palingenesis, we get randomized the same races three times in a row.
