I don't know if it is doable but scholar is lagging a bit behind so how about allowing it to upgrade creatures on the adventure map if you have the resource and proper dwelling upgrade.


upgrade basic(lvl1) , advanced(lvl2) and expert(lvl3)

Not the main hero but scouts.. Thane but Aine When you reject advanced Wisdom and other skill, you take advanced Scholar, etc Aine is a good heroine, thus +350 gold, maybe Estates is available..

Change special terrains to work with the Terrain Tool, so you can draw a path without having to cover ten more hexes on the sides.

How about changing Giselles specialty, so she adds a fixed +10% to Interference? (20%/30%/40%)

I consider her very OP, as she gives 60% Interference already in level 20 and 100% Interference in level 17, if she has all 3 Interference artifacts!

Castle, Rampart, etc don't cast a damage spells.. Thus Prayer, Haste, Bless, etc are much better by the spirit of the game.. But Dungeon, Inferno, Necropolis are casting a damage spells.. Think about Dungeon, Inferno with Water, they will cast a Prayer, etc but they can't do.. Slow vs Haste, etc If lacked.. So the best damage spells.. Dangerous Implosion to your Gold Dragon.. So good heroine.. But banned from the game.. Inferference is a good, but it seems popular in MP, thus banned?! I kept Inferference is better than Resistance.. Both OP, but my game style is different.. I hoped Infeference belonged to evil alliance, thus the Moon covers the Sun.. Not for Stronghold, when pure might..

Once again you consider just yourself and your dawned map. Not that these guys have been that worried with retro-compatibility but do you have any idea how many maps were made AND PUBLISHED using that heroine as opponent? I've played quite a few by this point.

Some obstacles inside treasuries would have been nice. Like medusa stockpile having columns or others having even mines and mud patches(quick sand?). This would also increase the viability of remove obstacle.

I will go far and say it ; Maybe remove expert obstacle could open castle gates.

A nice way to improve battle machines is to make them stackable. You can purchase an additional battle machine in every town with Blacksmith but only 1 per hero, and in every map object that provides them, again, 1 per hero. So, you can have more than 1 First Aid Tent, Ballista, Cannon, and/or Ammo Cart. Those additional battle machines can be more efficient with their number growing, and, of course, they are harder to destroy, as they behave like ordinary units on the battlefield. Moreover, there already a possibility to have more than 1 battle machine in the army, so why not to make them actually stackable?

I already hoped, AlexSpl Yes long time ago, I hope HotA crew listens you.. Now HotA crew has two hopings i.e. I and AlexSpl..

Yes 25 First Aid Tents are sure strong, etc Ballistae?! I hoped to add a damage too, but how to edit.. If no way damage.. But hero or ballista, if you've 2500 gold.. Today I don't play ballista with also First Aid.. Sucking..

Usually there are not so many towns to purchase 25 First Aid Tents, as Blacksmiths tend to be different. Also, I propose to ban their exchange, every hero should purchase its own battle machines.

Ballista and Cannon are war machines of the same functionality, so it's even gameplay-wise not a good idea, not mentioning positioning of both when they are present simultaneously on the battlefield, and evenmoreso the need for the second slot for both.

Stackable war machines could theoretically eliminate that 40% damage rule, which is, to be honest, the illogical rule. But in online games it's still a must, because usually you don't have time to buy another war machine of the same type, and even stackable ones with original parameters don't scale at all with enemies' spell power and power stacks.

You can make them immune to spells after all, or even so that they can be attacked only in melee. This will give them a chance to survive a little bit more. And stackability means also that you potentially could loose a war machine but probably not all of them in a single battle, so you don't waste your secondary skills due to complete absense of corresponding war machines, the skills just get less efficient. Yeah, and ban all Morale in the first round just to eliminate thoughts of blocking enemy shooters round 1

Probably not so bad idea if implemented well, and the game supports numbers for war machines like for any other stacks. And if it's so, then this idea might have been considered even at the stage of the development of the game.
