If I see soulgems in a shop if I have to I'll grab it and walk to another room then steal it.

It can be considered cheap exploitive gameplay, but w/e it's my 5th invested Skyrim run
And ill have everyone's gold once I get that expensive enchants learned.

Alchemy is the fast track to becoming Money Bags in Skyrim. You get rich then you can get dragonbone gear and go to the Cloud District and kill Nazeem.

I am really sad Nazeem isn't a contract for the Dark Brotherhood. That was the only reason I joined them. Hoping that I could kill that arrogant prig.

Yeah, I remember. Alchemy!

Speaking of still Skyrim, have you guys tried the Remastered version? Is it worth it or Mods are better?

Also, I wish they make Skyrim II and develop the game to be more exciting with extensive character building and leave the immersive exploration experience intact.

I was always more of a "Conjuration" guy. Practically in every RPG where it's possible I pick classes that enable you to summon some familiars as long as they are not lame

In Skyrim they loose their effectiveness at some point, but they're at least good meat shields plus you never feel lonely in the wild.

Imo the most off-putting thing about this plotline was the game engine producing "epic battles and sieges" where there were like 12vs12 models and a few catapults.

Ulfric is a tard, with or without the Thalmor meddling.

I played a mage with a shield, using a combo of lightning strikes and shield blocks. No armor specialization.

Second character was an Argonian battlemage conjurer.

Third character was a dual-wielding wood elf.

All three of my characters were custom-named classes. First guy was a 'Thane', the second guy was a 'Bonedancer', and the third guy was a 'Skald'.

I never played a character where I do all of the major sideline quests with one character because it feels really stupid in my opinion to be the head of the mage's guild and the fighter's guild and the thief guild, etc. Each character had his own specialization and quest lines.

Simply put, it was planned to be better. Then they were forced to cut three quarters of the content due to time constraints (and I suspect also due to the small map size and engine).

Imagine this, they planned to have strategic points that were supposed to fund the war effort and that you would be tasked to either capture or sabotage, there was supposed to be a "climatic" siege of every hold capital with you witnessing the change of leader, and you could be very well have been forced to defend a capital yourself.

The siege of Whiterun felt more powerful than that of Solitude or Windhelm, since you were still storming the gates, but still had to go through the two lower tiers of walls first, which, if the engine allowed for at least 70 NPCs at the same time fighting, could have felt like a mount&blade moment. Then when you siege Solitude or Windhelm... Enter the city gates, and walk to the HQ.

Also, Whiterun felt like a city that was possible to storm with a direct assault, while the other two capitals had fortifications that looked like they could hold for months.

All in all, another possible epic moment ruined by corporate politics.

Corporate politics? Huh? Not really. The game engine wasn't equipped for large battles with tons of characters on the field, so the entire civil war campaign was stupid, at least if you were a stickler for any sense of realism. I didn't think too hard about it and had fun, but the game is mostly designed for you to be a lone wanderer.
