Ngl, I feel like the forum needs better moderation with the amount of troll accounts that try to impersonate others and use content that's not even close to DoR's (and use the freaking AI slop) for doing so.

Anyways, to bring the thing on topic: I have seen the updated Paladin in CDA article, the H5 reference with the design is quite nice, I think. It's also confirmed there that the Saboteur gremlins that were seen earlier are alt-T1 of Forge.
And the newly showcased Grotto heroes look quite cool, imo.

Yeah, I think it will be my first pick (sorry Forge  ) - it looks cool, it sounds mysterious and got this fine "Dungeon, but dry, not slimy" vibe

Interesting, I always got the opposite vibe, personally. Dungeon is the dry version, while Grotto is well, more moist. Thanks to all the mycelium and whatnot

Even though Grotto and Forge seem quite impressive, I'm the most excited about playing with Palace. I love the vibe from the visuals and creatures, and I always wanted to see a Vori elf town because I thought they were cool and mysterious.

And HotA Vori ended as "We chickened out on doing Kremlin because umm, so town with ZERO slavic influence gets completely unrelated building style". Nobody's perfect.

And I don't see why you are making that remark here then.
If you don't like DoR, play whatever you like more (probably HotA's Bulwark, judging by your remark, which kinda feels HotA-lover-y to me) and ignore the DoR project, nobody forces you to comment here.

Happy anniversary of the inauguration of Nawrocki!
We are glad to announce that the storyline of DoR has been moved to FIFA! This is done so it doesn't muddle the Heroes experience for casual and competitive players alike, letting you focus solely on the gameplay aspect of the new factions in H3, and allowing you to immerse more easily through FIFA.
In FIFA, you will explore stalwart and eternal stadiums of Vori, and meet all kinds of soccer players that inhabit the playfield.

Every August 6th, we try to make a rather ambitious joke. Oftentimes, we want to offer the community something cool to see and enjoy, like the H4 joke, or the MM one. Something that you would have likely not seen in any shape or form, otherwise, because those games are not popular enough, and unfortunately nobody is interested in making new content for them. It might be a bit painful to see such concepts not being real right now, and we know that, but think of it as paying homage to such underrated gems instead, and as bringing attention to them.
These screenshots are also mock-ups through and through, but the sprite renders are real. As we found out, rendering FIFA sprites is actually quite easy. And with that, who knows… ; )
In the meantime, however, DoR development continues. In fact, one of the FIFA mock-ups above even uses most of an existing DoR cutscene’s environment.

Actually, fair enough, tbh. My bad on possibly feeding whoever that troll is, but the situation is just kinda sad, at least from a perspective from someone who really likes what DoR team is doing.
Also, for reference, I don't hate HotA (despite me personally finding some stuff odd there, there's a fair share of good ideas in there as well, I'd say), just I've personally seen some amount of HotA fans being hostile to everything that's not HotA. It's generally changed now (at least I've seen folks on DF2 mentioning quite some stuff from different mods in more positive ways), but looks like some of these dudes are still here with the same attitude  .
Actually, I can notice one funny thing here, he actually tried to pass screenshots of like 2 mods of mine mixed with a bunch of other VCMI mods as DoR screens in his fake CDA article. Maybe I should be in DoR team, idk.

Sorry, could we get some moderation on this stupid waster who's flooding up the thread with AI crap? I love to lurk this thread and follow the progress, having a useless waste of space who is posting AI garbage full of disrespect to the devs, because they are malding or failing in Ukraine or whatever, is unproductive.
If there's no moderation and removal of trash here, then let it all be trash. I don't mind going to flood the HOTA thread or the VCMI thread with more AI garbage to even out this dich head's obsession, if this isn't cleaned up.

I understand the frustration, but please don't respond to trolling with insults or threats to flood other threads. It's summer, and moderators have lives too, you know. Corribus will clean this up whenever he's back.
Please keep the discussion civil and on topic, even when someone else doesn't.

Well, it's reasonable if things take a few days, but there posts from this clown user still there from back in April. It's not good to wait five months for a moderator to clean the place. Anyone can do whatever they want and make a big mess out of any thread.
This guy is almost making a good point with his loser memes by exposing that it's a free for all. Did you consider expanding the mod team to have other mods who frequent the forum? Why are there only two mods with only one having power here, who is rarely around?
