"Where would we go to mine, though? I mean, I could do it if wee needed or wanted to, but I don't know where we could go to do so."
"I read a Regional Geographic saying they dug up fossils in rocky areas—caves, mountains, that sort of thing. And I found the Kit in a cave, so I suppose we could try that first," Mina said, more for the sake of keeping the conversation on a 'safe' track than anything.
"Hmm... if we mine in the right place we could find things like evolution stones! Now if only we had pokemon that would benefit from those... A snorunt or male kirlia could use a dawn stone, your pikachu could use a thunder, and if we had an eevee..."
The dark-haired trainer filed the Dawn Stone information away for later use; she wasn't familiar with it or the Pokemon it affected. "I want to train Pikachu a little more before I try to evolve her. I don't think she'll learn any more attacks on her own after she evolves." Mina mused privately that they had had a spare Thunderstone at one point, but she wasn't sure what happened to it ((and I suppose we've lost enough party members from that time that I can just rule that one of them had it)). Digging up a new one was probably going to be necessary when the time came. "I knew someone with an Eevee, but he's an Umbreon now..."
And a shadow passed over Mina's eyes. Ditto was in Misty's hands because of Mina, and if the little shapeshifter had gotten hurt due to the red head's stupidity, it was Mina's fault for giving it (him, her, whatever) to Misty in the first place. But she shook the mood off; she didn't know for sure, and she had more than enough to worry about as it was.
"...Stacey might want a Leaf Stone though. She has a Gloom." She knew the trainer in question had a Sun Stone already, but hadn't used it yet; maybe Stacey was holding out for Vileplume. Mina went through her mental list of the group's Pokemon; there actually weren't that many stone evolution Pokemon in their collective teams except for the Growlithe at the moment, and those only if Misty recovered from her injuries and Brona survived and caught up with them.
"Not many though. Still, even if we couldn't use them ourselves, we could sell them or maybe trade them for things we could use..." Mina mused. Then she shrugged, taking a bite of her food as she did so. "I guess it's not really a priority, but I think we should look into it sooner or later."

Stacey:
Dream waves goodbye and goes to help clean up the aftermath of the battle.
You head off to the nearby Pokemon Center and have your team healed, as do several other trainers involved in the fight.
When the Nurse gives you your Pokemon back, she warns you that your Snorlax is Shadowed ((as if you couldn't tell  )) and tells you to be careful with her until it wears off.

The Grunt at the Center takes some convincing to box them as-is; not so much from the standpoint that they're to all appearances stolen (as he's a Bandra Grunt after all), but he can't seem to get it through his head that you don't want the balls wiped first. But after a little convincing he finally shrugs and puts them away.

You see a little bit of cream-colored fuzz vanish just as you look up. Climbing up after it ((carefully with the broken ribs )) you find a Mankey.

Christian smiled as the little monkey showed up, he seemed to be collecting monkeys these days. "Scyther go, False sweeping time!" Christian shouted.

Brona turned slightly southeast, heading in the opposite direction and praying to whatever PokeGod were listening that they didn't have fast and dangerous pokemon. He almost stumbled over a root but managed to keep his footing, his thigh throbbing. I can't keep this up very long.. he thought in vain, hoping he would get to a river or something so he could lose his pursuers.

"Thanks...I will," Stacey tells the nurse. "Could I get somewhere to rest? I'm feeling a little run down."
With the nurse's direction, Stacey goes to get the sleep she had been self-deprived of the night before. After awakening, she finds that some of her clothing is needing replacement. She gets ready, changing into the only other decent set of clothing she can find. She was planning to check and see if the path from Tidepath was going to be able to be crossed now, but figured it wouldn't hurt to spend a little more time here. She went to find the nurse to get directions to where she could get some clothing.

Mark took another spoonful of the soup and realized how good it actually though as he came to a startling realization. "Something that is important though," He said with his mouth half full, "Is getting in touch with everyone and seeing how they are doing." Mark didn't have anyone's number (Still. You'd think he would have gotten that fixed by now...) but Mina should be able to tell everyone where they were relatively easily.

Stacey thanks the nurse, and heads out the store. Along the way, she looks around, still impressed with the size and population of this area. She doesn't recall visiting anywhere this big before. She almost passes the clothing shop up, but notices it in her peripheral vision. She turns to it, and walks in.

Brona slowed down slightly, but kept going, his right hand clenching his thigh to stop the throbbing. What was he going to do? He didn't know where he was, he didn't know where any of his friends were, he had lost all of his pokemon, he didn't know how long he'd last if he didn't find something to drink or eat soon. He needed rest and find a way to clean his wound.
A little more, then I'll rest. Just a little more. he urged himself, as he kept pushing forward.

Christian smiled to himself and called back Scyther "Mankey's becomes Primeapes, and Primeapes are good." he thought as he started moving towards the Wobbuffet spot. He also wondered quietly to himself whether or not there might be any good mining spots nearby. Or caves.

Ironically enough, Mark finished his soup at that moment. Yes, he is a power eater. "Actually if you wanted to get to your contacts page, I could enter them right now." He told her as he pulled out his... what the hell, was that an actual phone? ((Keerah, can I have a phone just for this? Please? ))And pulled up his contacts page. "To save time and everything. On my honor as a trainer and friend, I promise not to snoop around in your phone." He told her, holding his hand over his heart.

About half of the first floor is made up of small shops—a barber, a donut shop, and a private investigator among others—but the back half opens up into a much wider area where you can see racks of clothes and an escalator to the next floor.

You nickname your new Mankey and he warps off to Box Storage. You then continue on to the cave marked on your Pokedex, arriving without incident at 4 PM.
The entrance is a natural hole in the mountainside, its bottom lip a few feet off the crumble of rock that passes for a path—not an insurmountable obstacle, provided the prospective spelunker has both legs in working order. The cave mouth is large enough that you barely have to duck to get inside, and the interior stretches out of sight into darkness. From time to time you hear Pokemon cries echoing from deeper in.

Mark began entering the contact information of people who's names looked familiar. "How long have you been fighting Bandra?" He asked randomly, sort of distracted at the moment. Once again, an errant thought had just slipped out. Mark would not do the best if he were interrogated by Bandra.

Stacey looks over the directory to determine the order of where she would like to go throughout this place. After a plan is formed, she starts to connect the dots. Second floor first, then back down to the athletics. She quickly looks through the undergarments first, and then a short stop at the accessories. After those are taken care of, she finds the women's apparel, and take some time looking through there. Once through with that, she decides some running shorts might be useful in certain situations, and heads to the athletic apparel area. She finds these things that she's like to purchase:
Silver gloves
Russet shoes
Unmentionables
More socks of the style displayed in the group portrait
Lyra's style of hat; white, but with the bow being cyan
Pleated forest green skirt
Yellow long sleeve henley shirt
Flame polo shirt
Sapphire skirt
White v-neck short-sleeve t-shirt
Cherry blossom pink running shorts
She figures these items would be great to go with her current two days worth of clothing. One being the one displayed in the group portrait, and another pair of blue denim shorts and Cerise t-shirt.

Mina thought back. "About...two weeks now, maybe a little less. What about—" Mina was on the verge of saying, what about you, how long have you been in Helnith? but realized at the last minute that might be a bad idea—after all, at some point after he'd come all his friends had been killed and his Pokemon had been stolen. So she aborted the question with a shake of her head, and asked instead "When did you get involved with the Starlight Squad?"
That should be safer, Mina reasoned; she didn't remember seeing him at the Shrine of Light, and one good part about Mark's prosthetic (although probably not something he himself appreciated) was that it made him memorable.

Brona hurries to hide in the bushes at the side of the road, taking time to sit down for a second to catch his breath. His eyes were heavy and his body heavy, he had no fatigue left but had to keep going. He closed his eyes for a moment, thinking, then decided to go left. But this time he would stay off the road, keeping out of sight but still following the road.

"Sweet, a damp, dark and scary cave!" Christian grinned "I can't remember if I brought a flashlight, but hey, my darkvision will suffice!" Christian called out for Duke just in case, the little rock types usually were found in caves, so he hoped his own would be useful in one as well. "Duke, if you see or hear anything dangerous, call out to me and drag me back." Christian stretches his hand out towards the rock type "Take my hand and don't let go, it's the only way I can tell where you are."
And with those words, Christian headed into the cave, intent on finding a wobbuffet. With his eyes on the lookout for anything that looks miniable and for strange and cool pokémon.

You note the styles in Helnith are rather different from what you're used to, but manage to find what you're looking for after some searching. You also notice the outdoor section has a little in the way of trainer gear—more durable clothes, water resistant fabric and such—but it tends to be more expensive than the 'normal' clothing.

The waiter, after hovering nearby for a pause in the conversation, asked if the pair of them were finished or if they would like dessert.

After half an hour of stumbling around in the dark with your Pokemon unable to see anything, much less whether or not it would make a good mining spot, you hit on the idea of seeing if the Mining Kit has anything in it that could help. After digging around in it, you find something with a switch; pressing it turns on a screen that doesn't illuminate much, but does show a radar screen that pings every now and then.

Maybe the mining kit device has a sonar component, because within ten minutes of turning it on a pair of Zubat have appeared and started fluttering around your head.
