You arrive at the Mart; it's busier than it was earlier in the day as people try to get their shopping in on their way home for dinner. But eventually you make it to the front counter and explain to the shopkeeper that you want to sell some items, and take them out to show him. The shopkeeper offers you 50 PD for the Heart Scale and 1000 PD for the Stardust.

You continue down your designated path, dodging Bandra patrols as you go. The area around here is starting to look familiar, and you realize that you're close to Ternai Town now. But there are Bandra patrols coming awfully close...
Before you reach the town proper, however, you hear a loud cawing from multiple voices—easily an entire flock of Murkrow, coming from the pit where you found your Berries two days before—ages ago, now.

Mark and Mina:
The waiter came back with the bill ((5,274 - 2,475 (includes tip) = 2,799 PD remaining)), Mina paid and left with Mark. On the way out she startled herself with a yawn. ((7:30 PM BTW))
"Listen, Mark...I know you wanted to train some more, but would you mind horribly if I caught up with you in the morning? I think I'm going to call it quits for tonight."
Also, she wanted to avoid any more dangerous conversation topics. She'd blundered into sensitive subjects more than she cared to think about in the last hour or so. Better to spend some time with her Pokemon, and maybe look into that ciphered report than accidentally remind Mark of all his dead friends again.

Stacey sells the items, and also sells all her normal pokeballs, and 3 of her great balls.(that should be enough for the things I wanted her to get most) She then heads back to the other shop to get the hat, green skirt, and yellow shirt. After that, she runs back to look at the potions at the Mart.

Mark seems to actually look a little disappointed. "Well, alright... I'll see you in the morning I guess." He said, waving goodbye as he walked back to the spot they had been training. There was just enough light left to do this... "Alright Ariados," He told the large bug as he sent him out, "We're going to work on this attitude of yours. And to do that, we're going to be training you to be a team player." He also sent out Corphish and Skarmory, even though the bird type was already exhausted. He wouldn't have to do much anyway, as the only command Mark gave him was, "If Ariados gets out of hand, sit on him."
After that, Mark began training Ariados in its normal exercises, as well as a team building exercise with Corphish. This would kill two birds with one stone, since the crab pokemon wasn't so used to Mark giving him commands or working with a team either.

Stacey purchases a super potion. She would like more, but she figures she may be able to get more after she turns in this box of spices to Charlie. She asks the Mart's cashier if there is anything of interest she should check out here. Whether the cashier tells her of something spectacular or not, after she leaves, she checks the app on her dex for the time she should choose to cross again.

((849 – 700 = 149 PD remaining))
You buy your Super Potion and ask the shopkeeper if he knows of anything of interest. He thinks for a moment, mentions that Dream is in town before telling you there's a woman wandering around the beach looking for someone to help her retrieve her son from the Spectral Dimension. He also tells you that the Geology Club has been really busy with something but he isn't sure what.
Afterwards you check the App; the next high tide is at 10 PM and the next low tide is at 4:30 AM.

Mark:
You send your Pokemon out together and try to get them to cooperate, with mixed success; Skarmory has to sit on the Bug type no less then three times, as more than once Ariados tries to sink his fangs into his 'partner.' He doesn't seem to like the newcomer—no surprise there—and is less than cooperative; it's almost two hours before you see any measurable progress:
Pokemon: Ariados - Trained (1, 0, 0) in the last three days.

Mina:
Mina, in contrast, took a long shower to wash the grit from their earlier training away, changed her bandages and got ready for bed—pausing beforehand only to leave a message for Stacey with Nurse Joy. Once her evening rituals were completed, Mina called out Houndoom and Pikachu—partially for company, partially out of paranoia—and settled herself under the covers. Most of the Starlight Squad who had been here seemed to have gone some place, because she had the room to herself except for her Pokemon.
Once settled, she pulled out the copy of the Bandra report (noting as she did so that she was running low on Pokeballs), her pad of paper and pen, and set to studying the report to see if she could crack the cipher.
((Roll = 7, 8))
Some time later she determined that whatever the cipher was, it wasn't using the first letter of each word or the last. Looking up from her notes, she realized it was 9:30 PM and she was very tired. Putting her notes aside, she turned the lights off and went to sleep, her Pokemon curling up next to her after a while.

Stacey frowns as the woman's son being taken is mentioned. She feels as though perhaps if she had done something different... She then hears about the Geology Club doing something. Geology; not one of her greatest interests, though neither was what Ignis was doing.
After she checked the app, she realized she had plenty of time before the low tide. She asked where the Geology Club was located. After, and if, she gets the location, she'll head over there just to see what's going on.

Mark sighed as he recalled his pokemon, "Alright... good enough for today, I guess." He said before yawning widely. "What time is it I don't even..." When his phone dutifully reported that it was 10:30, Mark came to the realization that he should be getting to bed soon... but a shower would be in order first. Going back to the Pokemon Center, he dropped off his bag in his room and took Ariados's Pokeball and a towel with him to the showers.
He called out Ariados, petting the spider behind the head as he yawned again and began flicking up almost unnoticeable tabs on his prosthetic limb. It would need a wash soon too, but a shower would be too much for its internal battery, so... with one quick pinch, Mark's arm came off with a muffled "Pop" and completely detached from his shoulder. The young trainer grimaced as for an instant his nerves told him that he had just been mortally wounded, but the phantom pain disappeared quickly thanks to the exercises Mark's doctors had put him through to condition him for the prosthetic limb. Setting it on the floor with his clothes, Mark told Ariados "Guard those." before he stepped into the showers. He came out about twenty minutes later, a towel wrapped around his waste, to find a Nurse backed into a corner with the little menace giving her the evil eye.
Mark recalled the anger-issues spider with a nervous laugh as he picked up his belongings. "Sorry about that, he's a little over-protective..." He apologized before walking back to his room.

The shopkeeper directs you to the east side of the island, near the Grand Docks. On arrival you recognize the run-down building you saw earlier, and go in.
The interior isn't in much better shape than the exterior, with ripped up navy-blue carpet, torn wallpaper and chunks of plaster missing from the walls. The furnishings consist of a couple fold-up tables and chairs that were obviously salvaged, with a variety of photographs (many torn, or behind cracked glass) pinned to the walls. On closer inspection, most of the people in the photos have digging equipment or hard-hats.
In spite of its dilapidated state, several people are currently inside, most running back and forth or piling things up in the corner. A few die-hards are scribbling at a map next to their half-eaten dinners; looking closer you can see it's a map of the waterway east of Tidepath.

On closer examination, the pile seems to consist of coolers, snacks and bags of chips, digging equipment of course and...are those flippers?
The person you interrupt looks up from the map he's studying. "What do you want? We're busy, we've got an expedition to prepare for."
From the rundown building's upstairs, a voice calls, "Hey, Kier, do ya think we should bring our hardhats? Y'know, just in case?"
"What would we use them for?" One of the people depositing things on the pile (in this case a number of snorkeling masks) replies. "Grab a couple more nets instead...maybe a few flashlights."
