Mark and Mina:
" My pocket book is sort of empty...Maybe we can do some odd jobs around town or see if any trainers would like to have a mock battle or two?"
~And I'm running low on Pokeballs. We can look at least.~
"Oh, speaking of battles I did happen to meet one trainer and even though we didn't have a bet going he gave me a berry for winning... would you know what I should do with it?"
Mina's first thought was plant it, but that might not be practical. She sat down against the wall by the Center entrance and texted back:
~Show me when we meet up, I can't see what it is from here.~

Stacey:
You sleep soundly and arrive outside the Geology Club with time to spare. During your morning routine, you notice a text on your Pokedex:
Mina sent you a message!
All party members check in at your nearest friendly Pokemon Center. Speak with Nurse Joy. Coordinate from there.

Shortly before 8 AM, Stef comes strolling down the street.
"Oh, you're here!" he says, sounding boisterously pleased. "Come on in, why don't you?" He holds open the door to the Club.

Mark was also sort of low on anything that could be an all-purpose pokemon catcher. It was always a good idea to have at least three great balls on hand, in case something good came along. But how to raise money quickly... then an idea struck him.
"Maybe we could look for some other trainers that would want to be in a team battle? It would give us a chance to test what we've been working on and it could help us raise money quicker. And the mart might give us deals or let us have some of their old merchandise if we volunteer to help there."
"~Show me when we meet up, I can't see what it is from here.~"
"Will do boss. =^.^=" The boy sent back, not for a second regretting the meowth face. "Actually, I'm done eating now," well, he was chewing on the last of the bagel at least, "and my pokemon should be full soon. Where are you? I'll meet up with you when they're done."

Brona felt sick at the sight, feeling his stomach turn he bent over and with his hands on his knees he threw up. That is what might have happened to his own growlithe too, he thought, his hope disappearing almost altogether. The berry didn't seem like such a bad idea right now after all, he walked over to it, and picked it up. To hell with it, and put it in his mouth. He'd just have to find another city, then he walked north.

The nurse perks up, and checks a piece of paper on the desk. "Can I have your name please?"
((At the Geology Club: ))
"Not quite," he informs you cheerfully. "Alvin wanted to give us instructions first."
You get a few cheerful greetings from club members who recognize you from the day before while the Geology Club gathers. Once they've ringed up, the man you initially approached the previous day ((the one with the map)) begins to speak.
"Now we only have one day to do this, so we're going to split into teams. Simon and I have divided the area into sections, and each team will get one section to search for our HM. Our chartered boat will be supplying enough Dive Pokemon to have one per team. While we're out there, I want everyone to be careful; we may not have to worry about cave-ins, but there are wild Pokemon around still and we won't be able to come back to the Pokemon Center until the end of the voyage. Any questions?"
Another Geology Club member raises their hand. "When are we getting back?"
"We'll be back around 10 PM tonight. Maybe sooner, if we find what we're looking for. Anything else?"

About an hour and a half away from town you startle a Nidoran (M) out of the brush. It immediately tries to flee.

It took Mark a few more minutes to recall his pokemon. Ariados was being sat on again by Skarmory because the spider attempted to attack Mark's crab. The bird seemed to be amused, Ariados less so... partially because Corphish was using this opportunity to blow bubbles in his face. Mark recalled the trio with a sigh and brought back Tailow and Lapras as well. Kirlia he let walk out with him, since she was a slow eater and could walk and do that chore at the same time.
He found Mina quickly enough, since she was right where she said she would be. "Hello~!"

Brona sits down on one knee, trying to seem more friendly, reaching out with the berry. He closed his eyes for a few seconds, trying to shake off the tiredness but without success. Hopefully the nidoran would think him nice, so that he could somehow start over.

On seeing Mark's Kirlia out it occurred to her she ought to have one of hers out just for the fresh air (she'd recalled Houndoom and Pikachu after feeding them), but decided to worry about it after they decided what they were going to do for the day. "You said something about a Berry?"

"We're not going to be that far from town, so...not really. It's possible they might try to attack Tidepath again while we're out, but I wouldn't lay money on it."

The Nidoran edges forward very cautiously, eyes going to the spiky purple 'B' on your chest more than once, but he must be very hungry because he eventually comes close enough to take the Berry. He starts munching on it, still watching you suspiciously.

Brona smiles at the Nidoran and sits down, he feel drowsy and don't know how much longer he can stay awake. Then he shrugged and simply laid down on the ground, as it was as good as anywhere else. It took seconds before he was fast asleep.

Stacey does hand over the dex.
"Okay. Thank you." Stacey wasn't too sure what just happened, but she figured it was something...not bad, at least. After she was done with the nurse, she heads over to switch Luxio for Goldeen. Since she was going out on a boat, she figured having another pokemon capable of surviving underwater would be a good thing.

Finally better rested, Brona stretched himself and looked around. He heard the hoothoot but the darkness made it impossible to figure out where the sound was coming from. To be honest he didn't care much, his mouth was dry and his mouth empty. He needed some water and some food, which wasn't easy to find at night. If only there were some friendly pokemon nearby to help him... ((hint hint))
