I people were REALLY hacking votes for Fury, why did Balance stay practically the same at 36%, while the only one changing was Strength?
And trust me, I've looked at the numbers ALL DAY.

+1. Ubi needs to clarify if there is any cheating ASAP, otherwise situation can get out of hand

Fury getting all it's percents only from Strength is what sells it (sorry for the double post)

I don't like Dryad and Sprite together in Fury lineup.
If Ashan compendium is anything to go by, they look awefully similar to each other....
Strength of the Forest looks great.

Leaving everything to a public vote is dumb because the audience itself is mostly short-sighted on most matters. Not to mention it's easy to mobilize enough people to vote for the poll option you like best through social media, or that the poll creators can easily *tweak* the results to their own personal liking.
What a moronic display, rly.

They appear quite different. The only thing connecting them is the leaf theme.
I really like the Pixie, think Ubisoft got that concept right. Small creatures more akin to butterflies. I wouldn't even say they're female but gender neutral. They are just rightly done.

A little surprising yes. Very surprising no.
Take a look at the official page how many people want Fury and the upvotes of their comments.
You will be amazed.
It's gonna be Fury vs Balance or Balance vs Strength. Strength has the snakes in it that almost nobody feels they should be in Sylvan. Deer is as iconic as the unicorn so it's no wonder Fury gets votes.
Besides Fury's description matches best with Sylvan description.
So no people , nothing shady going on. And if Fury can cheat then the other two can cheat as well!

I think the info about the dragon not being a flyer might have changed a lot of votes. It at least made me think twice about my initial vote.
Edit: Also read a lot of people on the official site encouraging to make multiple accounts to skew the vote. That saddens me.

No it's not. But it is clear that most of the people who vote fury do so because of the gameplay it promises. I can appreciate that.
I liked the offensive feel of H5 sylvan but.. it depended on the initial charge way too much. That was a problem when you had a 40% chance for avenger, up to 50% chance for luck and a prismatic breath that could hit 1-4 targets. I feel that reckless charge is more a theme for stronghold and that sylvan should be more cautious, switching between offense and defense as the need arises.

Yeah, and they would change their vote from Strength to Fury because they share the same Champions, uh?

I still think the Dryad and Pixie are quite similar: both floating, weird flimsy vibes...would be too feminine in the Sylvan core line-up.

When I look at thy Dryad concept, I don't see a pixie.. I see a Mizu-Kami/water elemental.. So the difference is there

having played clash of heroes the deer did make quite an impression. and i don't think i was the only one having played that game, nor the only one who saw an alternate unicorn in that. but still two four legged forest creatures both magical. the are similar in a way.

That is not as unlikely as you seem to think. The fact that Dragon is a medium-speed walker did make me realize how ultra-turtlish Strength line-up is going to be, so that definitely did have impact on my decision to lean towards Fury instead.
It is true that turn-1 hit-and-kill Sylvan from H5 was a bit silly, but then again, that was courtesy of smaller battlefield and poorly balanced initiative system and special abilities. You could have a Fury line-up who didn't necessarily suffer from this problem. And also, with two tankish champions, there's a limit to the damage they will be able to do on first turn.
Personally, I'm not so afraid of the Pixie/Dryad combo. I don't know if people envision the Dryad as being the same as the H5 version which obviously DID look a lot like the Pixie (being the upgrade), but the pictures we see above look very different to me. I like the fact that they made the Pixie a lot less "girl with butterfly wings".

No, they made it look like a leaf with butterfly wings.. is that better?
On the serious note, Dryad and Pixies are different, as far as I know Pixie is flying and is aggressive creature, while Dryad is defensive with support abilities for Treant(And I don't know why they don't want to include the same abilities for Green Dragon too, when it already has been changed).
I hope that we will see a bit different version of Pixie, I mean concept is ok, but that picture isn't looking that good.

Pawek_13 said: For me, the greatest problem with two-headed cerber is not two heads, but the wrong name. In Greek mythology, two-headed dog, which was son of Typhon and Echidna is called "Orthos". Those two creatures are completely different and the name of one should not be used while describing the second one.
agreed.
Pawek_13 said: Concerning phoenixes - since in Ashan there are 7 schools of magic, and each school of magic descending from Asha's child has its own elemetal, hence Phoenix has become the elemental of Prime magic. That's why I don't want them in Sylvan - they should be neutral, like all other elementals.
i would actually also prefer that they are neutral, or part of the Academy line-up, but am concerned that if we dont get them here we wont get them at all.

One of the descriptions is that the Phoenix die in fire and then it's reborn from the ashes. That doesn't necessary mean that the bird is on fire during its life. But there are variety of other descriptions for the Phoenix as well.

I think Phoenix would make a good champion in Academy. It's not my top choice for Sylvan, but I would grudgingly accept it there and I acknowledge that it does make sense also with the game's history. But we can't have it both ways at the same time.

alcibiades said: I appreciate that developers do the whole "ask-the-fans" exercise, but we also have to view each piece of the puzzle in the context of the general picture. If fans vote in Phoenix in Sylvan, they need to rethink the Arcane Bird in Academy.
