Quick question: what is actually H55_BanksDifficulty in H55-settings.lua in charge of?
Multiplier of the # of creatures in neutral stacks on the adventure map?
Multiplier of growth of the # of creatures in neutral stacks on the adventure map?
Multiplier of the # of creatures in "treasure buildings" (Orc Tunnels, Graveyard, Wheelbarrow)?
Multiplier of growth of the # of creatures in "treasure buildings" (Orc Tunnels, Graveyard, Wheelbarrow)?
All of the above?
Something else?

Sorry to bother, so the ARMG templates don't directly forbid some structures like the artifact merchant from spawning, right?

EDIT: i'm quite dumb, maybe you meant the red and orange zones of the template pics in your other thread!

Okay, so when at 1.0 it grows double its base size every week, or is it 1.0 of WeeklyGrowCoefs in DefaultStats.xdb?

Thanks for the info, I think because you start that map without a town the game cannot detect the playerrace and therefore forfeits the governance option.
A typical conflict with campaign type maps, but doesn't really need fixing as those maps were never created for this mechanic anyway.

First off love the mod, been having a blast reliving this game.
Found a bug that's easily reproducible during the HoF Campaign 1, Mission 4 - Negotiations.
It seems that item set bonuses are not working, (I've noticed this in the previous campaigns, as well as during LAN games and customs)
Here are example screenshots of what I mean, This is Freyda with the Dwarven King set
Helm (shows just 1/4)

Pendant of Mastery doesn't give bonus Spellpower to Paladins. It does change the cost of training for Knights, however.

The campaigns are not generally easier or harder, some missions can be easier some can be harder. If you want to use town conversion or governors in the campaigns, this can also lead to different results.
So I just wonder, if H5.5 makes no difference to the original campaigns, in terms of AI etc, is there any reason to use it to play the original campaigns; or might I be better to play the campaigns in vanilla TotE?

@Mammothbro: no the number is a multiplier, but if you multiply something by 1 nothing happens, so the default setting means no change.
@Darcclan,strigvir: Those bonuses are applied after you close the hero screen.
@Athis: I think reason people play it in H5.5 is because the AI is calculated faster and you can find more different artifacts.

Magno, I know you must be sick and tired of my barrage of questions, and I know that my broken English must make it hard for you to understand what I am actually asking for, so I am sorry for this tirade.
I'll try to sum it up, I'll use an example:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the start of the game the number of guardians in a battle site will be:
[BASE QUANTITY]*[H55_BanksDifficulty]
where BASE QUANTITY is a constant and each building has it own sets of guardians (Dwarven Treasury will ALWAYS HAVE [for example] 25 defenders, 10 harpooners etc) multiplied by [H55_BanksDifficulty] and it is NOT influenced by difficulty
It's the second week of the game. The sum of creatures in battle sites on week 2 is:
[PREVIOUS WEEK'S QUANTITY]*[H55_BanksDifficulty]
where [H55_BanksDifficulty] will dictate a multiplier by which the previous week's stack will grow by, but when it is set at 1.0 the stack will ALWAYS be constant and never grow and the growth is NEVER influenced by difficulty

Is this formula and explanation right? Are there more scripts involved? And if so, which are?

Only the creature types are decided at the start of the maps, the amounts are calculated when you enter the building, they are also influenced by difficulty, amount of towns per player and whether governance is enabled. Everything together multiplied by the number in the settings file.

I download Homm5Patcher from http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=41404 and I don't know how to use it. I would like to play homm 5.5 with nfc and try other mods.
When I double click on Homm5Patcher is opening rar.
I install Java, when open as Java appears: "Could not find the main class: de.deflaktor.homm5.patcher.gui.Gui. Program wil exit."
I wrote post on the forum on side http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=41404, but I am not expecting a prompt reply there
My system is Windows 10
