I wonder if a Wraith or Wight like the Heroes V tier 6 unit is possible to be created with the current models of heroes VII.
Also, why not mod blade dancers to become the berserkers of heroes IV? And Simurghs could with some color tweaking and helmet removing become fine Thunderbirds

I'm sorry sir, but that's an heresy.  Now I got the (re-textured) spiders in dungeon instead of dark santa elves and they will stay there, far away from necropolis. We were thinking about making some undead werewolves at first, but we decided to scrap them for now. Maybe I can replace the ghosts, since we got wraiths now. We still got to decide if we consider to put 3rd upgrades (or if it's possible, no idea atm), but our goal for now is to fix the existing line-ups.

Well, the models can be modified, that's not the problem (if I'm not mistaken we can also import them from h5, I remember tweaking some h5 models for natalka, but they were just map objects) . But we already got reapers which are basically h5 wraiths on horses, and with a few model fixes, a new texture and maybe some extra particle effects, they will resemble the h5 wraith even more.

Nice idea, maybe we can turn blade dancers into something useful, still idk in which faction to put them or maybe just as neutrals? I can make some axes for them, give them a haircut, some new clothes and they are good to go. About the Thunderbird, that was something we had in mind, but then what should we give Academy instead? Dragon Golems? Maybe in Stronghold we can demote the cyclops to elite (there are 2 walking champions that have the same function) and send centaurs to Sylvan Rampart.

Depends on what your aim is. Berserkers can go to stronghold to replace the wyvern per se or the gnoll or the harpy. Or just be an alternative to orcs. Thunderbird can be an alternative to basilisks or yeah, cyclops could be demoted. Simurgh doesnt have to leave academy, it can still stay there and be as is. The thunderbird will be a close relative but can vary in its ability and stats.
Finally, for sylvan you have the wolf, tje griffin, the tiger and the centaur if you so please to add it there.
Also harpies could return to dungeon

ah yeah i agree they go better in dungeon; i just have a hard time justifying raising skeletons from the dead when i can raise skeletons with muscles (zombies). so what if arrows just pass right through skeletons, zombies dont mind looking like pincushions in the least.
