@Frosty idk but i have seen the "twilight ripoff vampire" here plenty. Probably regarding the entire race and not just the H6 unit
@Gryphs I know what you are doing but well, if you wanna get technical the twilight is the new sterotypical vampire....

Yeah, I mean honestly, they barely have anything in common with Twilight vampires. Though I've got to admit I'm not an expert in the field of Twilight.

I know this was posted a while back, but as it seems neither Frosty or Verriker, posted anything about it, I thought I might as well do it. A group of fans are planning to make those two campaigns (Unity and Every Dog has it's Day) for H4.

One thing that's somewhat confusing me as far as Ashan lore goes is a simple question - to what extent can succubi camouflage themselves?
From H6 onward, it appears that while camouflage is their natural ability, the only appearance they are able to take is that of their former selves. In contrast, in H5, Biara is seen taking numerous forms, more akin to a Faceless - Beatrice, Shadya, Isabel. One of which required a piece of the original person's soul to be stored in a temple in order to sustain the illusion, mind you.
Has there been any explanation regarding this ability that I had missed? I mean, there definitely wasn't any in H5, but it wouldn't be the first time when new material puts some stuff from H5 into some much needed context - so any input there would be welcome.

I suppose Biara had either special skills (really powerful even for succubi) or they have quite developed during the centuries.

Well, as much as I like modern references to H5, trying to look at H5 itself for canon material usually ends up only bringing some godawful writing and more confusion in return.
Like I mentioned earlier, Biara's ability probably had something to do with Isabel's spirit being kept in Flammschrein. Though how Isabel's body was walking among the living and communicating with people while lacking a soul is the confusing part. Did Raelag even realize he had a soulless, amnesiac husk as a partner?
