Governance
I just ran into some corner case (although I'd be surprised if these circumstances had never occurred before):
* governance is enabled and town gating is disabled
* I have four Sylvan towns and one Inferno town, on a map with max towns per faction = 4; and two existing governors in Sylvan towns (not sure if important)
I'm now trying to inaugurate an Inferno hero as governor in the Inferno town. Town Management results in "You cannot use any abilities from this location. Town gate is disabled" - no option to select town governance.
Further Sylvan governors work fine in their respective towns. When I use Town Management from the Inferno porch with a Sylvan hero, I get the conversion option (not that it works, because max reached).
So - is this an Inferno-specific issue, maybe a holdover from when they used to have built-in town gates (or was that HOMM3?) Or is it because one max faction town limit is reached? Or is it a one-off bug?

@ALfWithCake: common sense and balance issue
@Floyt: I wrote this feature a long time ago, but i don't think the system allows for governors who are of a different race than the player starting race.

It's not like they suck right now, but I wonder is it possible to set campaign heroes specializations back to the original value. I read that modifications can ruin 5.5 values and game will require reinstall.

I apologize if it looked like I asked "update campaign heroes specializations and upload this version", it was rather a request for an advice how to mod it myself. Deflaktor's pathcer is handy, but I do not know how to find addresses for what I want.
I wanted to play original campaigns with original hero specializations and 5.5 mechanics. I do understand, that Markal and Findan will be harder to change, since their specializations are changed completely, Zahir probably wasn't changed at all and Isabel's campaign is not worth it, so that leaves Agrael and Raelag specialities, who only had numbers changes. Do you or someone else knows how to change them?

Stuck at TOE first scenario. The enemy army just gunned down mine with their ranged troops before I could even reach them. It took me seven weeks game time because the road guardians blocked access to the Slayers.
I don't remember it being this hard. Back when I played it on the original version, I went through the scenario like paper and didn't give it an afterthought.

@magnomagus It was at normal and there was at least 2 groups that delayed me. 1st was at the goblin site where I had to stall for a week for reinforcements and the 2nd was at the centre of the road with the cavaliers.
Don't worry about it. After a restart I rushed (since the hero never carries over anyway), and cleared the scenario before the month is up. My mistake was taking too long visiting all the stat points and getting all the artefacts while letting the enemy build around 10 angels and 150+ crossbowmen.

Caster's Luck & Firewall
Hi. Is "Caster's Luck" working with the spell "Firewall". The description states that it works on destructive spells. But I was hoping that "Firewall" might work anyway even though it is not in the "Destructive" spell school.

Hey guys!
I always loved Heroes 5, but the AI takes too long during turns, so I only play it in hotseat with my friends nowadays.
So anyway... I saw this mod a few years ago but never tried it, now I would like to but first how long are the turn times? I know it uses Quantomas' AI, I played the campaigns few years ago with it but the AI was just sitting in his base all the time, not building anything, maybe I did something wrong with the patching process, dunno, but nvm back to H5.5..
So how long are the turn times here? It probably won't be heroes 3 levels of fast, but still, maybe it's bearable.

Problem with Kha-Beleth is that, he is not animated properly. Agrael model is good replacement for him.
