I remember that giving mass effect to spells was mentioned somewhere in How to edit Hota thread, but for first aid tent I don't know.

Yeah AlexSpl said it's only possible via Plug-in and HD Mod does'nt support that anymore, so I guess I'm stuck.
Hopefully HotA will do something about this terrible skill soon. Same with Eagle Eye and Ballistics hopefully. These skills are IMO the bottom 3 skills. Learning also used to be down there, but I managed to actually make Learning decent. The problem is you need to start with it or get it ASAP to get anything out of it.

Ballistics is not that terrible. Look at Metataxer imba map. It very useful to not break castle walls.

Well in "normal" maps VS the AI Ballistics is useless 99,5% of the time, as AI storms out the gate like a fool anyway.
The only thing it's good for is giving initiative, if you play a slow town like Stronghold or Tower.
And again the skill does nothing for scouts or town defenders.

Update december 8th 2020:
* Disguise is now disabled and slightly changed Inferno and Fortress's chance of learning Fortune in their Mage Guild, to have equal spell probabilities in towns.
* Cure was made slightly more expensive, but also a bit more powerful.
* Dispel was made slightly more expensive.
* Remove Obstacle is back to normal spell cost.
* Cloak of the Undead King now makes Skeletons/Walking Dead/Wights.
* Inferno's starting army is back to that of SoD.
* Added a note about my Town Portal change also affecting HotA's Town Gates.
* Corrected a comment under "New feature".

You ever considered swapping the effects of the Mana Vortex and the Skyship?
(The +150 spell points is an adjustable value. All fo the defensive buildings are)

I thought you did'nt know how to affect the grail buildings?
Currently Mana Vortex bonus is cut in half, same as Intelligence.
The grail is currently disabled, as I consider it too powerful and it also ruin some skills.

I figured it out. Been working on it lately.
Also figured out where the "every week is Imp week" code is. Just haven't figured out why the text still says it's Imp week even if you change it.

Have you figured out how to change the gold bonus, to for example 2500 per day and maybe disable the individual grail bonusses?

Very cool discoveries !
I'd like if you know how conflux's grail structure works. I'm not fond of idea of giving all spells, it makes "all mage guilds" quite useless...
I have no precise idea of what give to the town but refreshing mana to all visiting hero is quite strong... Replacing it with the "old" mana vortex (gets 200% mana points) is very strong so good for a grail structure.
But would it be possible then to place something to mana vortex's place ?

The map effect is handled elsewhere, and the spell point bonus is adjustable (I have it set to 50).
'course, I also upped the cost of the Vortex, but you know how to adjust that yourself.

Update february 22nd 2021:
* CotUK now makes Walking Dead/Wights/Wights.
* Added a note about AI being unable to cast View Air, View Earth, Disguise and Visions.
* Added a new feature: War Machines no longer get destroyed permanently, they will be back after combat just like the catapult. It does not work for HotA's cannon though.
* Intelligence buffed to 20/40/60.
* Dungeon's Mana Vortex is also now 60%.
* Mysticism nerfed to 4/7/10 mana per day. (Or 3/6/9 if we exclude the 1 mana you always get back any way.)
* Cure is back to it's normal power modifier.
* Disguise is back and is still as useless as ever. (It needs to be there, otherwise Blind and Visions gets too easy to learn and AI will pick Air Magic rarely.)
* Land Mine spell is changed:
Power modifier is back to normal, as they also increased Tower's "moat" damage.
Instead the spell now creates 6/6/9/12 Land Mines and mana cost was upped to 15/12/12/12.
* HotA's Seafaring Academy is now banned. I do not like this object.

Update march 23rd 2021:
* Logistics is back to the way it is in SoD.
* Boots of Speed now adds +500 movement points.
* Added Necromancy to nerfed skills. (It remains like it is in HotA.)
* Added Scouting to buffed skills. (It remains like it is in HotA.)
* Added Interference to banned skills. (I play with Resistance instead.)
* Sorted buffed and nerfed skills alphabetically.
* Elmore and Leena's skills returned to normal. (I still find both of them a bit OP, but I want to test it out more.)
* Unskilled Precision and Weakness became 1 mana cheaper.
* Cure returned to normal mana cost.
* Decreased Quest Gates in front of Warlock's Lab to level 22.

Update may 15th 2021:
* Dispel back to it's normal spell cost.
* AI Value of unskilled and basic Bless, Curse and Hypnotize returned to normal.
* AI Value of unskilled, basic and advanced Shield and Air Shield returned to normal.
* Disguise is removed again. Also Inferno's Mage Guild has Fortune changed from 4 -> 6 and Fortress 4 -> 2, so all towns has a total of 98 points, instead of 100 for level 2 spells.
* New damage formulas for Death Ripple, Fire Wall, Fireball, Frost Ring, Inferno and Armageddon.
* Bonus damage to spells now follows new power modifiers.
* Spell probabilities for Tower changed: Animate Dead 0 -> 8, Frost Ring 16 -> 12 & Fireball 8 -> 4.
* Spell probabilities for Conflux changed: Animate Dead 0 -> 8, Frost Ring 12 -> 8 & Fireball 12 -> 8.
* Skill specialists buffed to 3,33% per level. (Will double their skill at level 30, instead of 20.)
* The feature with Ballista, First Aid Tent and Ammo Cart coming back after a battle is removed again, since it did'nt affect the Cannon. Instead all war machines (except Catapult) now has 375 hp.
* Reduced cost, AI Value and Fight Value of Peasants and returned their growth to normal.

I'm OK with boosting ballistics (That's what it's happening?) but not disabling, since it's both fun and not terrible if you get it for early sieges. Also I believe it's good for destroying archer towers.
It's also a bit confusing that Ballistics helps the Catapult and not the Ballista (get it?)... personally I would rename it Siege. Even the wiki believes it's confusing, https://heroes.thelazy.net//index.php/Ballistics
If Archer Towers scaled damage with hero Attack, Ballistics would get a buff and sieges would be more balanced for late game.
What actually sucks more is earthquake, it should have a bigger effect on the castle (like breaking +1 each time, so 3/4/5 and not 2/3/4)
Also, have yu already released this?

Boosting Ballistics?, no I have'nt done that, how did you get that impression? I have'nt removed it either.
Personally I think Earthquake is fine, I would'nt change it.
No, the mod is'nt released yet, but it might happen eventually.
