If you have nothing to say, say nothing. That's generally a maxim I try to follow, even if I fail half the time. But doing the complete opposite and writing hot air with no substance or childish mirror posts... well, waste of time, so what's the point? No offence, but I've seen more than a few "The Death is a quote fiend / energy vampire / unbearable / wrong" threads out there!

Eventhough I myself am a huge fan of understatements this is so horrendously under-understated that the Mariana Trench looks like a dent. You do not fail half of the time! What nonsense, your posts are always great and entertaining and their biggest problem is that they're so few of them!

I think TD is ok & so what if he´s a parrot? If his odd ways annoy you then dont pay attention to him. Telling is for children, in real life he would be that friend that gets punched when he gets all that diarrhea off the mouth.

Really, it's not incredible in the least. Maybe on other forums, but around here the OSMers slugging it out everywhere like some sort of e-brawling club has been the norm for a long time now. I'm guilty too, but there seems to be more of a "knives-at-the-ready", "post as fast as possible and make all the killer points first" attitude going around than one of casual debate.
I mean, almost 40 of the pages in this thread are from the past year alone. And I just skimmed through the copyright thread to see the finer points of discussion in the OSM, with samples such as "you bloody idiot" and "damn internet forum" thrown about as commonly as pleasantries. Is it necessary?

I will refrain from mirroring your worthless post. Tell you what though, generic responses ain't going to get you anywhere or impress anybody, because guess what, I can make them myself, as I have proven with mirroring.
I think you, most times, post nonsense, utter lack of logic and inability to look at consequences (analogies are a good way to do it), no matter how horrible a post by you is, you never admit or let it go, you back up into generic responses when you can't don't want to debate with arguments, and call others what you demonstrate in behavior.

And you know who's at fault here? That's right, me. Because I have been trying to reason with you and debate normally, but it's just not possible with your sickening generic crap (AND personal attacks sometimes). From now on I'll serve you a taste of your own "arguments".

I don't think you're guilty of that kind of behavior and neither me or pei or JJ, at least being as we're the ones who "posted" now in the Feedback thread. So while it is unnecessary I don't think it's because of "quote wars" (unless the members you were talking about are also quote warriors? ).
EDIT: since my post was deleted along with JJ (don't blame angelito, he just cleaned it), I have to clarify for some people here that I am being sarcastic when "mirroring" or doing stuff like "awesome ", I thought that was pretty obvious, but you never know...
(this edit wasn't sarcastic, just in case)

This isn't about insults, at least the way I see it (I'm no mod), it's about the point of it. May I ask, what's your point of doing so? Are you that childish to resort to name-calling? Personally, you can call me TheJunk or TheSupremeBeing (the latter being sarcastic, obviously)... wouldn't change a thing, it's still pointless and says a lot about yourself.
