Actually, no - Summoning has same chance as Destructive to pop up, and you will also have Summoning spells in the Mage Guild. Also, Summoning works great with the high Spell Power of Warlock, but of course is quite Mana demanding, which might not be too easy for the Warlock.

Don't know why, I thought they were more destruction/dark. Hmm. Played them for a bit in HoF, but has been awhile. Might have to go revisit them. Well besides SinglePlayer that is..which doesn't help much. Hmm just realized that I was thinking something else. *sighs*. Yeah, sometimes my memory plays tricks on me. Thanks Alc.

Who told you they did? Regardless if you win or lose the battle the game is yours because the enemy cannot rehire his hero.

@Ceres you got it wrong...
if all the troops on the battle field were killed by armageddon.the hero who cast the spell will won the fight.
you can rehire him in the tarven..while the enemy`s hero will disapper and can not be rehired.. that`s all

Yep, and depending on the level of your irresistable magic, your black dragons only take partial damage. Many of them can survive.

the bad thing is they are high priority creatures to your enemies. So they will most likely get attacked right after the furies (and riders if you have them). Hard to keep'em alive despite all their defense and HP.

Black dragons? Been playing XXL maps?  Too hard to get online unless there's a hill fort involved.

Sometimes you get lucky with windmills and random resource piles. The mines alone can't handle it, yeah. I like to build resource silo fast, but absolutely hate double-resource tier 7 dwellings, like dungeon or sylvan's level 7. So hard to get all the needed stuff for it V_v

It's not so much about resources, buying your army, upgrading and buying artifacts there's usually not much gold for blackies. Not within a reasonable timeline anyway and most large maps I play have 2 towns so I prefer to get some dwellings double. Dueblo is a map where you could upgrade easily.

I dislike 2 town maps, so that's perhaps our opinions differ on that matter

I prefer 1 town maps I just don't mind when there are 2
Edit: Holy...! The new elemental damage boost shows. Imagine seeing 20 grim raiders kill 5 titans with luck and then 3 more dying automatically. I had 2 towns with temple of primal elements so 50% total but even with one town it is formidable. If not for the fear of dark spells I'd love attack with power of speed..
I had a ring of celerity and speed but that's what dungeon is about, break fast, get the good loot and fight the final battle with an ace up your sleeve

elemental damage is quite good if you can get the little dungeon artie that doubles the damage. With a second town, you double your spell damage to the corresponding elements So your lightning bolt can become implosion, and implosion can kill things even if they resist it and are mini-artificed.

so I am going to give up academy and go for dungeon.
By the way,how about the hero Lethos?
I'v heard that he has a better creeping ability than anyother dungeon heroes. Is he better than Sinitar?
