Yep, I pretty much exploded when I saw Felidar Sovereign. Test of Endurance on a solid bodied creature. With all the protection spells in M10, like, oh I don't know, Indestrucibility. Felidar Sovereign jumped to the top of my list.

Lorthos rhymes with Vorthos for a reason, is all I've gotta say. I certainly would like Lorthos, but he's not something I'd pay out of pocket to get. I'd rather spend that money on someone like Ob Nixilis or Imeria. But I like the EDH deck Kelly gave us though, just because its mono-blue and purely Vorthosian. But I'd rather just stick to Inkwell Leviathan. Maybe Djinn of Wishes could speed things along with the summoning, but that still leave mana ramping to that 8 costed ability, which still makes blue act out of its element by using all the extra space for purely artifact fixers. Now in extended, they still have the Mirrodin sources, like the Ingots and such. But in Standard, Lorthos has a limited grasp. Lets move on to "That land keeps burning."

I'm not too impressed with the Cobra, imho. It just seems to me that with the cobra out, if it doesn't get the business end of a removal spell, all it'll do it accelerate as fast as the aggro burn decks, at which you'll probably still get stuck behind. Also, with the whole removal issue, the Cobra will most likly be a single, dual at best addition to a deck due to its Mythic Status. I just don't think its plausible, it relies on a whole lot of building around it. Mana does no good unless you've got a goal.

EDIT# What happends when i use twin cast on time warp? As i read it, i only get 1 ekstra turn, but am i wrong?
And is it possible to use Animate Land on Dark Depth and then use Fate Transfer?

Well I can answer your first question - The Time Warps will stack appropriately, allowing your two extra turns! Don't worry, you take one, then take the next one.

It is possible to fate transfer all the counters off of a dark depths that's somehow become a creature. (animate land, genju of the realm, lifespark spellbomb...)
However, it is much easier to simply play an AEther Snap.
Ęther Snap 3BB
Sorcery (75cent Rare from Mirrodin)
Remove all counters from all permanents and remove all tokens from the game.
You could put the two in the same deck, since it shares a color with fate transfer and gives you redundancy. Then since you're already in green use sylvan scrying to fetch the depths... Violą! you have a deck.
Forbidden orchard to make sure your opponent has a creature to recieve fate transfer (AEther snap can rescue you if the tokens get out of control).
Crucible of the worlds to make sure you can resummon Marit Lage if something goes wrong. Terramorphic expanse and ghost quarter because they're fantastic with crucible of the worlds.
You need Summer Bloom to use AEther snap before turn 6, and it's great with the crucible.
Damnation and Doom Blade to push Marit Lage through.
Diabolic Tutor for whatever.
8 forest
8 swamp
3 Forbidden Orchard
4 Terramorphic expanse
1 Ghost Quarter
4 Dark Depths
4 Sylvan Scrying
4 AEther Snap
4 Fate Transfer
4 Lifespark Spellbomb
2 Diabolic Tutor
3 Crucible of Worlds
3 Summer Bloom
4 Damnation
4 Doom Blade
But I would probably wait until Zendikar to see how much of the land-based awesomeness will fit in here.

Awesome ;p I got 4 time warps at the time they costet about 1-2 dollars! now its arround 6-8 dollars.
Rarensu# I have 4 ęther snaps, i just whanted bigger chances of getting the Marit Lage out. So therefore 4 Animate Land and 4 lifespark spellbomb.
But hehe instead of Diabolic Tutor, take Rhystic Tutor ;p
But i totally forgot about Sylvan Scrying!!! Thats a needo card thanx

In draft, sleep kills people. (trust me - I've done it many times)
Octopus is sleep on a stick. If you attack with it even 1 time, you've already won. I'd first-pick that.

Well, mamga, there are ways to overcome that. No doubt that the decks that use Lorthos will be heavy in mana ramping, or cheating it into play. I can think of a good many cards that could help Lorthos make maybe even a turn four entrance. That means he's going against stuff like Marisi's Twinclaws and Rhox Brutes. I think he's more than enough to lock them out for good.

Well, over at MTGSalvation, the spoiler sits at 171 of 249, so I see a lot of the cards already. But Rites of Replication would work well in a UG mana deck. Take a Rosheen, then a Rings of Brighthearth, maybe a cople of Scattering Strokes then you've got a nice big mana pool for a Kicked Rites on something fun, say an Inkwell Leviathan, or the such, and you've got quite the impressively destructive force. For cheating the Leviathan? Oh, I shouldn't have to spell that out, with so many cheater cards, like Dramatic Entrance. I think it would work really well.
Oh, I guess Guile is the thing you'd want to fill the Rites target. Thats good.
EDIT- Oops, forgot that Rosheen works only for X...
