Misty thinks a bellsprout or Oddish would be a good investment..but if they are not wild...still she goes out to try to find a grass type in the tall grass. Pretty much all but a few of her pokemon can't really hurt a rock or ground type, and since mostly the bad guys seem to have heavy rock and/or ground type..the team could use the muscle.

See, this piece here,” he shines his flashlight on a container that looks like a petri dish with foam in the bottom. “I found this broken off in the wall. It’s probably one of the older pieces here, and notice how worn this edge is on this side: If I’m right, this is left over from when this place was built. Now this piece on the other hand,” he holds up a baggy and points the light at it so you can see the thing inside; it looks like a piece of ceramic, with faded designs painted on one side. “This is much newer, and we know this because the type of paint on pieces like this only existed in Helnith since about 700 years ago. That’s still a wide slice of time, but with painstaking analysis of the designs and patterns we can narrow it down further—see, this yellow mark here, this is part of a symbol that represented Salerdia, the Pokemon that was supposed to have created Helnith. Earlier Helnith culture thought the Pokemon was too sacred to use in writing, so you only see this symbol in later debris.” He continues cheerfully. “It’s too early to tell for certain, and I have to send more samples in for analysis, but these chambers might have been locked up undisturbed since the last war!”

…absolute chaos. Your computer had something smash through the monitor, then the whole thing was flung across the room, spraying glass shards over the carpet, which is filthy and torn. One of the legs of your bed was broken cleanly off so the whole thing is slouched in place, and not only is the bedding a mess but the comforter has a hole in it you could stick your head and shoulders through. The others went off to different directions and Brona wasn't sure entirely what to do. He decided on visiting the mart of the town and find out about the gym, so he asked his way there and found it in a just a few minutes. He smiled as he reached the counter, greeting the man behind it. "Hi. I'd like to buy a few pokeballs, I figure ten should be enough. Also, do you know what typing the gym here has?"

Christian stood there and clicked his tongue a few times "Well hallelujah, I'm back and need to order a clean-up crew. Ohh well." He says before smiling over at the two pokémon "Now look at you guys all grown and strong!" Christian pats them both on the head "Congratulations on your levels, your training and your evolution. Now let's go to that pokémon center and clean you guys up, shall we?" Christian recalled the two pokémon to their pokéballs before heading off to the center.

Sarah was overjoyed, it was a long while ago since she had caught a Pokemon. She was excited because this new ground Pokemon was in Sarah's eyes something exotic. Back home by the Viridian forest such Pokemons like Hippopotas didn't exist.
She held the great ball close to her kind, and whispered to it:
"now little cutie we will travel the world together, and I'm gonna nickname you Hippo, it suits you perfectly."
She recalled Trapinch and continued to walk aimlessly across the landscape.
"Let see what more this interesting land hold for us..."
((the name Hippo is for practical reasons.  ))

You spend almost an hour and a half searching before you first sight a Pokemon; an Ekans you startle out of a rotting log.

It’s another half hour before you find any more Pokemon; a bit of grass huddled warily beneath a tree turns out to be an Oddish, out late in the morning possibly due to the dark and rainy sky.

He gets you your purchases, and unexpectedly ((or not )) throws in an eleventh Pokeball, this one solid white instead of red and white.
“And here, we got a fresh stock in a few days ago so I can give you one of these.”
You receive a Premier Ball as an added bonus!

She then gives you back your Pokemon and goes back to her magazine.

It’s some time later before you encounter any more Pokemon, but after a few hours you see a small form pop its head out of the grass and immediately start crying an alarm.

((Note to self, helps to have more then two normal pokeballs when searching for pokemon..eh well I have a pokemon with false swipes..I can make this work))
Battle Vs the snake.
When confronted with the snake pokemon..she slightly panics because she is not fond of snakes. However, she quickly recovers and pulls out a pokeball. "Go Blaze. Flame wheel the snake!"
((Just keep up Flame wheel until either the ekans faints or Blaze does...not going to try to capture this one))

Brona thanks the man and leaves the mart, shaking his head in emberrasment. He had already forgotten he had already challenged the gym here, and lost alot. He didn't think his pokemon could do much good yet though, his pokemon were too weak to face the gym leader. He nodded to himself. He decided he'd just head out of town and train a few levels. He let his Twiggin and Magby could follow him while training together ((both +1 level)), while he would use his Rhyhorn, Grimer, Growlithe and Gastly to fight wild pokemon.
So he headed out of town...

Sarah was surprised when she saw the little Pokemon standing on it's tail. She assumed by the look of it that she had been watched for quite some time.
"Okay this is a task for you Nidoran"
Sarah called out Nidoran and ordered it to use Double kick.

((the following is before Sarah signs up for Zack's tourney))
While in Ternai, Sarah went straight for the Pokemon Center to heal her tiny friends, no more should little Poliwag have to suffer.
Sarah was kind of tired so once the Pokemons were healed, Sarah accidentally started to talk to Nurse Joy again and was therefor forced to endure seeing her Pokemons being healed once again...
Finally she managed to leave the Center and could proceed to the Mart to buy more great balls, she needed about 5 new great balls for now. And if she got a chance, she was also going to ask if there indeed was a gym in this town.
((if Sarah is doing to much at once, just cut anywhere in this text.))

Brona looks at the bug-type fly away, stunned by the force of the attack, then he laughs and runs over to Growlithe. "Man that was some POWERFUL flamewheel!" he exclaimed. "Great job Growlithe!"
He looked over at the rest of his pokemon. "One of you are up against the next one." he said, and they kept on walkin.
