Zack:

((*sighs*))

Your Pokemon ready themselves for commands that never come. Unfortunately this leaves them vulnerable when the Pineco react violently to the rough handling.

Pineco 1 uses Bide!
Pineco 1 begins storing energy!

The largest of the three Pineco begins to glow brightly.

Pineco 2 uses Selfdestruct!
Staryu is hit for 39 damage!
Master Mime is hit for 46 damage!
Pineco 3 is hit for 33 damage!
Pineco 2 faints!

Pineco 3 uses Take Down! ((Roll = 8))
Vigoroth is hit for 13 damage!
Pineco 3 takes 3 damage due to recoil!

Vigoroth: 61/74
Staryu: 11/50
Master Mime: 5/51

Pineco 1: 51/51 (Bide)
Pineco 2: 0/56
Pineco 3: 15/51

Misty:

You search around town for a while but don’t find anyone from the group, and no one answers your text. So you train Phoebe and your new Oddish alone, for a total of four hours ((1 hour for Phoebe, 1 for Oddish and then Oddish is level 20 so 2 hours for the next level)). Phoebe starts glowing in earnest after a little training, her form expanding and stretching into a serpentine shape:

Pokemon: Milotic (Phoebe) (Shadowed: 0%) Trained (1, 0, 0) in the last three days.

Your Oddish likewise trains up nicely, though you startle her out of evolution:

Gender: Female
Level: 21

You end your training at about 3:30PM, just as some of the people who went over to the Gym on the Starlight Squad’s arrival leave, looking rested from several hours’ sleep.

----------------

Brona:

Gastly uses Hypnosis! ((Roll = 52))
Stunky falls asleep!

((Sleep roll = 37))
Stunky sleeps!

The Poison type slumps to the ground, snoozing quietly.

Gastly: 53/55
Stunky: 56/56 (Asleep)

----------------

Stacey:

Ignis assures you he doesn’t mind so you head to one of the cleaned out chambers to train.

Five hours ((1 for Slugma, 1 for Grimer, 1+2 for Mona)) pass before you get your Pokemon up to a level you like:

Pokemon: Grimer (Shadowed: 0%) Trained (1, 0, 0) in the last three days.

Zelgius nodded as he finalized his plan. "Alright Marick," he whispered to the Aaron, "We're going to go to behind that largest rock formation, and I'm going to have you make a little noise. Hopefully, the one or two grunts that hear it will be curious enough to investigate what the disturbance is. I'm going to have you sit on top of one of the shelves of rock, and jump on the first one that comes around to investigate. If there's another one..." Zelgius glanced down at his knife for a second. "I'll take care of him."

"The main goal is to take them out while out of site and with as little noise as possible. Do you think that you can do this?" The little (Incredibly heavy and dense) pokemon nodded. "Good. I'll make more up if we get far enough..."

Christian:

Not long after the atmosphere in the room clears up. A squad of Grunts streams out of the training hall to join the activities, and a few of those already engaged get up grumbling about getting back to work. Down the hall, a couple of maintenance people are working on one of the black orbs set into the ceiling, and a handful more Grunts are crossing the hall from the direction of the cafeteria, chatting animatedly to each other.

----------------

Brona:

Your Pokemon hesitate, but at your urging they triple-team the sleeping Stunky, quickly pushing it from sleep to unconsciousness.

----------------

Zelgius:

You creep behind the rock formation with your Pokemon, doing your best to stay out of sight for now. Fortunately the weather works in your favor; it’s miserable enough that most of the Grunts aren’t lingering in place longer than they have to, being more concerned with staying dry than keeping an eye on territory they think they control.

You make it to the rock shelf unnoticed by the Grunts (one of the prisoners stares worryingly in your direction for a moment, but is either smart enough to keep quiet or writes you off as a figment of her imagination). Marick then does his part by deliberately banging his head against a rock, provoking the following exchange from the encampment below:

“Hey, what’s that?”

“I dunno. Hey Neil! Go see what it is.”

“Wha, me?”

“Yeah you! Go check it out, we’ve got prisoners to guard!”

Then there’s the sound of grumbling mostly drowned out by the rain, followed by some none-too-stealthy footsteps.

The Grunt turns into sight, looking around him to find the source of the noise. He stops when he spots you and is about to raise the alarm when Marick jumps on his head.

The Grunt falls over with an exclamation not entirely muffled by the Pokemon or the rain.

“Hey, Neil!” One of the Grunts back in camp calls. “What is it?”

They head out, and see that the rain has stopped. The ground is wet, which Mona seems to like. Stacey can't feel it, so she's fine with it. They make their way back, and to the market. Brona:

Unfortunately for your sense of adventure, you make it back to town without incident.

----------------

Zelgius:

"You're going to do exactly as  say." The Grunt nods frantically, as best as he can with a knife at his throat and another human being sitting on him. "You're going to tell your buddies that you're alright. You just slipped and hit your head. Right?"

“I’m fine!” he calls hoarsely. “Nothing wrong at all! I just slipped and hit my head!”

You hear one of the out-of-sight Grunts mutter that he sounds like he hit himself somewhere else, to which another Grunt snickers.

“Well hurry it up!” the Grunt in camp shouts back. “The boss wants us cleared up and out of here!”

----------------

Sarah:

You train your Nidoran for six hours ((+3 levels)) before the Poison type seems too tired to continue. The results of your training are impressive, however, as the little Pokemon soon evolves:

Pokemon: Nidorino (Trained (3, 0, 0) in the last three days.)
Type: Poison
Ability: Poison Point
Gender: Male
Level: 23
Held Item: None
Stats—
HP: 68
Attack: 45+5
Def: 38
Sp. Attack: 37+6
Sp. Def: 37
Speed: 42+4
Moves: DROP ONE!
Leer (multi)
Peck
Focus Energy
Double Kick
Poison Sting
Fury Attack
Horn Attack

((And BTW, that gives you three more EVs to allocate.))

----------------

Zack:

Pineco 1 is storing energy!

Vigoroth uses Yawn!
Pineco 3 becomes drowsy!

Pineco 3 uses Take Down! ((Roll = 62))
Vigoroth is hit for 13 damage!
Pineco 3 takes 3 damage due to recoil!

Pineco 1 releases energy!
But nothing happens!

Vigoroth: 48/74
Staryu: 11/50 (recalled)
Master Mime: 5/51 (recalled)

Pineco 1: 51/51
Pineco 2: 0/56
Pineco 3: 12/51 (drowsy)

----------------

Misty:

((You are correct on the training limits.))

You train Phoebe up until the Pokedex informs you she’s gained a level, about an hour later:

Pokemon: Milotic (Phoebe) (Shadowed: 0%) (Trained (2, 0, 0) in the last three days.)
Type: Water
Ability: Marvel Scale
Gender: Female
Level: 17
Held Item: Beauty Pin
Stats—
HP: 64+17
Attack: 30
Def: 37+4
Sp. Attack: 44+3+17
Sp. Def: 52+2
Speed: 37+1
Contest Stats—
Cool: 0
Beauty: 255 (MAX)
Cute: 0
Smart: 0
Tough: 0
Feel: 144
Moves:
Splash
Tackle
Twister (6 targets)

You then head over to the Pokemon Center to find a place to sleep. Luckily most of the people who flooded the Center earlier have rested by now and subsequently vacated their beds, leaving plenty of room for you.

((And that’s where I’m leaving you for now; don’t want the rest to fall behind.))

----------------

Stacey:

((Noted.))

You go to the Mart and make your purchases without any problem. ((6,874 – 4,000 = 2,874 PD remaining.)) You then make your way into the tower near the center of town.

An engraving on the right wall as you enter reads:

You who would enter the tower...
A secret lies within...

To the left of the entrance, an open door reveals stairs descending into a rotting hall, its walls hung like a medieval castle and the floor covered with moss. Before you another door leads into a lobby of sorts, which is filled with people in old-style clothing. There you can make out a set of stairs along the back wall.

----------------

Mina:

Mina didn’t realize she’d been drowsing until she woke up, several hours later after another dream of opening doors. By then at least the rain had stopped, though Mina felt a little bad at having slept through so much of the day—she wasn’t usually prone to napping. Then again, she rationalized, she had been up all night…for the last two nights in fact…so maybe she shouldn’t be surprised. Mina stretched and got up; she was sore and the Center was much emptier—she presumed the remainder of the Squad had gone off to sleep somewhere more comfortable.

Mina grabbed a bite to eat and checked on Pikachu again; the Electric type was sleeping soundly and barely reacted to her presence, so the Johto trainer didn’t argue much when the Ternai Town Nurse Joy shooed her out.

Frustrated and deciding she could at least be doing something useful, Mina went over to the Mart to stock up on supplies and stopped by the little stall selling Mulch, figuring the Liechi and Salac Berries she’d planted ought to be grown by now. ((Super Potion x 2, Repel x 3, Paralyze Heal x 1, Antidote x 1, Awakening x 1; 10, 574 – 3,000 = 7,574 PD remaining))((Growth Mulch x 2, Boost Mulch x 2; 7,574 – 800 = 6,774 PD remaining)) She noted as she paid for her purchases the man in the stall still had his buy-Mulch-and-get-a-watering-can-free sale, not that that did her any good at the moment.

Then she headed to her Berry plot. She wanted and needed to get some Oran Berries in the ground; it’d be cheaper than buying Potions constantly so she could save her money for other things…like more Pokeballs. She also wanted to try growing some of the other, unfamiliar Berries in her collection, but as she wasn’t yet sure how long they took to grow (or how long the group would be staying here; she did not want to plant them only to have to leave them again!) she decided she’d only plant the others if she found another place to grow them.

It turned out to be a moot point, however, as she got to her little plot and saw:

“I don’t believe it. Still?! You still aren’t grown yet?!!” Mina railed at the plants, not really expecting an answer. Three stinking days and you still haven’t finished and I gave you Growth Mulch, too!! “Rrrrgh!”

The only good news was the storm had soaked the ground very thoroughly. ((Still missed one stage though. )) Grumbling, she went back to one of the ponds in town, figuring she’d fish for an hour or so to cool off.

"Too bad, maybe there's a gyarados in there only waiting for the right trainer to catch it."

Mina chuckled at this. “Maybe!”  I’ll settle for a Magikarp for now, though.

"I caught myself a twiggin earlier, and the rest of the day I spent training my pokemon."

“One of those spindly little Grass types?” Mina asked, thinking back to her previous encounter with the Shadowed Twiggin in the Shrine of Light. “Nice! That’ll probably be useful next time we go up against Bandra.”

"Are you partipicating in Zacks tournement? It could be interesting to test out skills against each other, as long as he doesn't use his new extremely strong pokemon."

Mina shook her head ‘no.’ “I’ve got some other things I’ve been wanting to do; I need to stock up on Berries before the next emergency, for starters.” She also wanted to get Sandshrew and Pikachu trained up closer to the rest of her team, hopefully catch some Pokemon…Mina spared a quick glance at the lure again; still no sign of Water Pokemon.

((And OoC I don’t really want to DM for myself in a PvP tournament. Bit awkward. ))

“And I wouldn’t be too upset about the Archeokat if I were you,” she added, seeing Brona’s irritation. “A Pokemon that strong is as likely to kill him as it is to help him, and just think of how much trouble it’ll be if it gets Shadowed! It could take out the entire rest of his team” or yours “and they wouldn’t be able to do more than slow it down. Slightly. Don’t feel bad, Brona. You’re much better off with a team that’s loyal to you than one that’s powerful right away. Power and experience are a lot easier to get than trust and respect.”

“If you don’t mind and you have the time I’d appreciate it.”

"I'd be glad to help, you have helped out others alot and I think it's just fair that you get some in return." Brona answered.

As the Magikarp appeared Brona smiled. "Now that's lucky, I'll step back and let you take care of it alone."

Brona walked back to his Gastly, assisting it in the training. ((For the training later on I'd simply let the pokemon train close-by to get instructions and stuff, no danger right?))
