"Yeah. Maybe we should take the opportunity. I'll use a potion on Mona. You can take Grimer and Luxio to get healed. I'll stay out, and away from the building. Don't want questions arising with Sandshrew here."

They start looking for the clubhouse, using the direction the four came from as a starting direction.

Mark and Mina Battle:

((Got it.))

((Quick Claw roll = 76))

Mina nods understanding and Tom sends out his Carvanha to help, making the fight an even five-on-five.

Natu uses Nightshade!
Krabby 4 is hit for 22 damage!
Krabby 4 faints!

The littlest of the Krabby is sent spinning into the ocean out of sight.

Carvanha uses Bite! ((Roll = 98))
Krabby 3 is hit for 20 damage!

Skarmory uses Swift!
Corphish is hit for 9 damage!
Krabby 2 is hit for 13 damage!

((Sleep Roll = 19))
Krabby 1 still sleeps!

Corphish uses Bubble!
Skarmory is hit for 11 damage!
Lapras is unaffected due to Water Absorb! ((Lol. ))
Oodramer is hit for 5 damage!
Damage halved due to Slime Body!

Lapras uses Sing! ((Roll = 42, 10, 39))

Both of Lapras' remaining targets collapse in the sand and begin to snooze.

Oodramer uses Bubblebeam! ((Roll = 34))
Krabby 3 is hit for 18 damage!
It's not very effective...

((Sleep Roll = 100))
Krabby 2 woke up!
Krabby 2 uses Vice Grip!
Natu is hit for 48 damage!
Critical hit!

((Sleep Roll = 47))
Krabby 3 sleeps!

Mark and Mina:

"Call your Skarmory back," Mina said to Mark, calling back Natu herself. "We don't need his" here she paused to check her Pokedex and make sure she was in fact using the right pronoun "yes, his help to take down the rest of them." More importantly he was getting battered, Steel type or no.

Meanwhile Tomas pointed to the nearly-but-not-quite-KO'd Krabby ((Krabby 3)). "((Censored)), if you don't want it I do!" And he got out a Pokeball.

----------------

Stacey:

"Sounds good," Ivan agrees. "I'll shout if I run into trouble."

The pair of you head back the way the latest patrol came, following the fence line east and then south. Another patrol ((three this time)) comes racing past at one point, but you feed them the same story and they go running off after the first group.

The clubhouse proves easy enough to find: it's a large building and brightly lit at this time of night. The fence goes right up to the walls on either side, and through the windows you can see an expansive lobby with plush couches, a marble-topped front desk and artistic arrangements of sticks and glass droplets on the shelves and tables. It's in remarkably good shape, considering Bandra is holding it. There are, of course, Bandra Grunts sprawled around inside (some are asleep) and a single Taskmaster looking over paperwork by one of the tables. None of them take special notice of Ivan, and after a moment and a quiet conversation with one of the Grunts he disappears through a back door.

Then all you've left to do is sit and wait for him outside and keep Sandshrew from trying to bite things. ((-1 Potion, +20 HP to Mona.)) It seems to be taking him a while... ((How long will Stacey wait for?))

Mina:

Mina peered at the whatever-it-was but between the dark and the battle couldn't tell what it could be. Probably just junk. She told Oodramer to finish off the last Krabby with Bubblebeam.

----------------

Mark and Mina:

The remaining Krabby has quickly figured out it's outmatched and scrambles into the water and away. Tomas recalls his Carvanha and Mina, ever paranoid, checks the area nearby for interruptions in the form of Bandra. When it still seems clear, she settles down to watch.

Corphish uses Leer!
Lapras' Defense falls!

Lapras uses Sing! ((Roll = 74))

The Corphish briefly covers its ears with both claws (presumably; it's difficult to tell with the shell) and begins chattering the Pokemon equivalent to 'lalala!' very loudly until Lapras pauses. Then it charges for another Vice Grip.

((I'm just going to auto this until you get it to sleep...))

Corphish uses Vice Grip!
Lapras is hit for 39 damage!

Lapras uses Sing! ((Roll = 5)) ((There we go!))

This time the Corphish fails to drown out the song and falls on its side, asleep.

((There is no brainwash button. Zack would have had a lot less trouble with that Archeokat otherwise. XD))

Mina turned to her ooze monster. "Oodramer?" The Spectral type obligingly washed Lapras down with bubbles until the Water type's injuries faded away. "Good job, my dear." She patted him. "Why don't you go swim while I poke around here? Just don't go far." Oodramer pushed off into the waves while Mina started picking through the wreckage. Most of it looked like shattered bits of boat and spoiling food, but maybe there was something in there...

((Mark: ))

Your new Corphish's legs wiggle a little in response but she does not wake; on closer inspection the line and lure are wrapped around her claw, but with a little bit of work you manage to untangle it. Tomas watches, and gives his opinion that that's how she ended up with the boat—Corphish normally are deeper-water Pokemon.

Mina shrugged, doing a few last minute checks for salvageables and stuffing what she found away for later division. "Don't worry about it; we're all still here and at least you asked." Not to mention it had been worth it to keep Mark from jumping out of his skin at every little sound. Plus hey, two new Water types between them and Bandra! "Stacey's going to be yelling at me for that stunt back at the Center." She dragged open another ruined seat, glanced over its contents and decided if there was anything else left worth taking here it wasn't worth wasting time finding. "But if you're all set, let's get moving. I know where there's a cave further down we can probably stop in for a few hours."

((Roll = 95))

There are no further incidents of note along the beach. The party arrives at the cave Mina referred to around 2 AM. It looks much the same as it did the first time she saw it: a dark hole on the inside curve of cliff face.

"I'll be basically useless until I can get this recharged, sorry." He told Mina, lifting his prosthetic limb limply. "Let's get in and rest up then, none of us is going to be much use soon. There should be a wider chamber back in here—just stay by the walls, there's a hole in the center." She eyed the prosthetic as best she could in the dark. "Your arm...could a Pokemon recharge it?" Mina asked, remembering the trouble they'd gone through with the fuses at the Ternai Town Pokemon Center...wow, that was almost a week ago now. "Pikachu might be able to help, once she's rested."

----------------

Stacey:

((Exits to the lobby are: left, back, and right. Sooo back it is.))

You head through the back exit. Beyond is a hallway with three doors; two of these prove to be the bathrooms. The third opens up into a wide area with a wooden deck floor encircling a branch of the hot springs, around which is arranged a number of deck chairs and small tables. On further inspection you realize you're actually outdoors: there is a tasteful wooden roof overhead with skylights at intervals showing the stars, but no back wall. Off to the right you see a few showers of the sort used to rinse off before and after swimming, and the faint smell of incense drifts through the warm and humid air.

After a moment of searching you also see Ivan; he keeps checking the clock on the wall and pacing nervously. His Pokemon and the Pokemon you sent with him are sitting in and around the pool, seeming much better although most are still a little battered ((+50% HP (up to max, naturally))).
