Slugma unleashed a stream of fire on the slower Normal type while the rich boy watched.

The rich boy looked unimpressed. Muchlax’s thick fat had protected it from much of the damage. “Heh, I’ll go easy on you. Munchlax use Lick!”
Munchlax took a few strained steps forward, opened its mouth to lick—and froze in place.
Munchlax is Paralyzed!
“Aw, phooey. But hey, maybe you can make a comeback now!”

Glowing spheres circled Slugma before reaching out and striking Munchlax.
Slugma used Hidden Power!
Munchlax took 10 points of damage!
From the crowd came the odd cheering whistle Mina often used.
Munchlax finally broke free of the total paralysis and managed to slober all over a disgusted looking Slugma.
Munchlax used Lick!
Slugma takes 6 points of damage!

A steel bird, eh, the girl thought as she approached the scene. Most of her Pokémon were at a disadvantage to something with that much defensive capability. She would have to depend on water again.
She looked to her Buizel, and it gave an acknowledging nod, stepped forward and joined the fight by gunning the bird with water.

Bandra Breeder Battle (Stacey, Draloed, and Korejora):
((Dunno if Harden and Defense Curl work for Special attacks, so I’m working on the assumption that they do. Let me know if I’m wrong and I’ll fix it.))
Dove hastily applied a Potion to her battered Sandshrew as the Breeder called for Swift again.
Dove used a Potion on Sandshrew!
It regained 20 HP!
Skarmory used Swift!
Magnemite takes 5 points of damage!
Aron takes 3 points of damage!
Sandshrew takes 13 points of damage!
Buizel takes 20 points of damage!
Buisel used Water Gun!
Skarmory takes 6 damage!
Magnemite used Double Team!
Its evasion rose!
Aron used Headbutt!
Skarmory takes 4 damage!
It’s not very effective…
Skarmory takes 7 damage due to Burn!
Magnemite had used Double Team so many times it was hard to take a step without walking through one, and more were appearing. Ironsides charged down the madly flapping bird, doing little more than jar it thanks to the type disadvantage. Buizel’s Water Gun was just enough to knock Skarmory back to its senses.
The Breeder seemed visibly less than pleased with the way the battle was going. He took something off his belt, pressed a few buttons and started muttering into it.

((harden doesn't apply to special attacks it just raises defence.))
"Ironsides harden"
draloed saw how ineffective the headbutt was and ironsides will probably need a boost.

"Buizel, withdraw from the fight!" the girl called to her Pokémon. "Not worth you getting hurt over." She raised an eyebrow as an idea came to her.
"Get the Bandra goon instead!" she ordered. The Buizel circled around the Skarmory, being sure not to engage it, before launching a quick attack on the human to interrupt him.

“AUGH!”
The thing in the Bandra Breeder’s hand went flying as Buizel impacted between the man’s shoulder blades. He wheezed from having the air knocked out of him as the thing (it appeared to be a communicator, though it was fairly small) went spinning into the flood of Magnemite copies and was lost.
“You…you…” he gasped, “Skarmory, make them pay for that!”

"Keep out of the Skarmory's reach!" she called to her Buizel. It hid behind the Bandra breeder, figuring the steel Pokémon not to be poorly trained enough to attack its own trainer. If it was, all the funnier.

Sandshrew takes 9 points of damage! ((Halved due to defending…did I do that right winter??))
Magnemite used Double Team!
Its evasion rose!
Aron used Harden!
Its defense rose!
Magnemite and Ironsides were able to absorb the damage with little fuss due to their types, and Dove’s Sandshrew protected himself by staying as flat as possible as far as he could from the steel bird. Buizel’s cover proved somewhat uncooperative, but the Bandra Breeder’s attempts to move aside proved futile as Buizel skillfully moved with him; he ended up putting his foot squarely in the path of a Swift star in spite of Skarmory’s attempts to miss him, hurting his knee and hopping up and down one-legged as he tried to rub the sudden pain away.
After this, however, it seemed Skarmory had had enough. Scortched and weary, he came to a rest briefly, breathing heavily. The adrenaline seemed to be all that had kept him going up to this point, and he toppled over unconscious a moment later.
Skarmory takes 7 damage due to Burn!
Skarmory fainted!
The Breeder glared daggers at the party as he recalled Skarmory.
“I may not have been able to call my reinforcements, but if I’m going down, I’m taking you with me! Come out, Seviper!”

"Back to me!" the Buizel's trainer called. She didn't want him to face off with a Seviper after taking that much from one hit. Instead, she sent out another Pokémon, letting her Zangoose out of its Pokéball.
"Alright, Shard, I want you to... eh..." she began, but realized that the Zangoose had already charged off towards the Seviper to give it a quick attack without her instruction (or permission).
"I'll just leave it to you, then, shall I?" she called to it. She shrugged when it snarled challengingly in reply, and picked up her Buizel, checking to make sure it was alright.

((given time, I'm pretty sure the slugma will lose out. 3-5 points of damage(aside from the occasional critical hit) per round doesn't seem to be enough. So, instead of continually posting 'Hidden Power'))
After some number rounds, I pull out the pokeball, and recall the slugma.
"Slugma has had enough. I forfeit. Well fought."

Bandra Breeder Battle:
Figuring Magnemite would be nearly impossible to hit by now ((You’ve used Double Team five times so far Alkar)), the Breeder ordered a Bite attack on Ironsides. Dove called for a Scratch, her battered Sandshrew doing his best to comply.
Zangoose used Quick Attack!
Seviper takes 7 points of damage!
Magnemite used Supersonic!
Seviper is confused!
Aron used Mudslap!
It’s super effective!
Seviper takes 5 damage!
Seviper’s Accuracy was lowered!
Sandshrew used Scratch!
Seviper takes 4 points of damage!
Seviper could only twitch as the paralysis once again struck full-force.
