Mina, Stacey:
As you walk in through the right door, you notice a very large series of prison cells arrayed throughout a spacious dungeon room. Many Pokémon are trapped here, and in the far corner, you see a human.
Racing towards the human's cell, you quickly recognize the kidnapped Elder. He looks at you and says:
"I can't believe you came. That was arguably a huge mistake..."
He looks exhausted and hungry, as if he had been left there to starve.

Misty:
You walk in, with the pair of Helnith Trainers. Fate looks preoccupied about something; you get the feeling it has nothing to do with the mission though.
As you move into the room proper, you realize that it is one of the outer rooms of the castle barracks. It begs the question of who exactly the Fire Lord employs as his personal guards.
Before you can dwell on that thought, you can hear a creaking sound in the distance.

Draloed:
Through great force of will, you manage to reach your Pokéballs.
You send out Zucruu and Pylus!
The dark spirit chortles you once again, inquiring:
"You cannot stop me, for I am a part of you now!"
Its evil laughter is quickly cut off by your first order.
Zucruu uses Astonish!
You are knocked down!
Momentarily stunned by the Astonish, the spirit lets out a fierce roar and spits out:
"Stop resisting me! You can't stall this out forever!"
Pylus gets the medallion and brings it towards you. Seeing what you are attempting to do, the spirit redoubles its efforts to dominate you.
You find yourself getting up and moving once again towards the painting. However, the young lizard manages to place the medallion back on your neck. It starts glowing fiercely, as you feel your whole body on fire. The spirit is struggling with all of its might to keep hold, but it is for naught.
You will the spirit out of your body, and it is sent back about 30 feet away. It glares vehemently at you and starts charging up an orb of dark energy:
"You are stronger than most, I will give you that."
It then smiles sadistically and concludes:
"If I can't control you, I'll destroy you!"
((Order your Pokémon to battle. Nice solution, btw. I didn't see that coming at all. Astonish Self!  ))

"Elder Roden!"
Mina dashed across the length of the dungeon to the single imprisoned human, for once giving no thought to the possibility of guards or other dangers.
"Are you all right?" she asked the figure in the cell anxiously.
"I can't believe you came. That was arguably a huge mistake..."
Mina waved the comment off and looked him over. He was obviously in bad shape, starved and--dehydrated? Mina didn't have the medical experience to tell, only that he looked haggard compared to her previous encounter with him--but he didn't seem to be injured, which was a plus in her book.
"Stand back," she instructed, picking a Pokeball off her belt and glancing around. No possessed, scythe-wielding Pokemon here--at least not yet--she called out Oodramer.
"Oodramer, Vortex on the lock, would you please?" The memory of his first demonstration on the rock was still relatively fresh in her mind.
While Oodramer took a crack at lock picking the way a barbarian with a large hammer might, Mina peered around in the dungeon gloom. Her eyes hadn't adjusted completely yet; she was having trouble making out the unfamiliar silhouettes in the dim light. ((How many Pokemon are there, and what are we dealing with winter? What species, and how bad a shape are they in?))
Mentally plotting their collective escape, she asked, "Is there another way out of here?"

Seeing the barracks a shudder flows down my spine. If possible I am going to avoid direct confrontation. Carefully I will check out the creaking noise. Motioning for Dove and company to get ready with their pokemon.

It would be best to defeat this thing but how do i defeat it... i don't even know what it is... A pokemon perhaps?

Stacey took one of her pokeballs, and sent out Munchlax.
"Assist Oodramer with a body slam."
She give enough time for a single body slam, then calls it back.She hoped it would help a little, but she didn't want to over-expose the Munchlax just yet.

Mina, Stacey:
Oodramer uses Vortex on the lock, causing it to crack. A well placed Body Slam by the Munchlax finishes the job, causing the cell door to burst open.
You look around the room and see about two dozen Pokémon. Most of them are Houndours. The others are Poochyenas. They look unhurt, but definitely Shadowed.
The Elder looks at you as you ask your question and says:
"Legends say that the catacombs of this castle lead to a subterranean kingdom that encompasses the whole region. The entrance to the catacombs should be somewhere near the throne room. Where they could lead us is another problem altogether."
He closes his eyes...

You advance towards the sound.
You see an open door, but nothing behind or around it.
A few seconds later, Dove and Fate move next to you, looking confused and then asking, almost in unison:
"Should we go through the door?"

Draloed:
You scan the spirit with your Pokédex and get the following message:
ERROR: Scanned organism is not a Pokémon!
The spirit's eyes narrow as it spits out:
"You demean me! Do I look like a Pokémon to you?"
The dark orb it was charging becomes a sword, which it then grabs with its left hand. It then starts changing, into the visage of a humanoid figure...
After it has finished, it then shouts out:
"I am Kreiznrak, one of the Ancients!"
After its declaration, it wields its sword with both hands and charges towards you.

Christian:
After what seems like an eternity, you finally catch up to Spencer and Zorpaleus. However, having caught up with them...you see why they haven't been moving...
They are surrounded by several Kadabras that appear to be chanting something repeatedly.
The room itself is rather spacious, and you think you can make out a throne in the distance. The throne itself is empty...
Spencer notices you and says, with a tone of urgency:
"We can't move! Do something!"

Using the pokedex (to keep down noise) I write back. "I will go in first, you two cover me. Do NOT let the door close behind me. Follow in about 2 minutes if nothing goes wrong." Then carefully I enter the door. I get ready growlithe incase I need some light.

“They’ll have to work for now,” Mina murmured, “we definitely can’t go back the way we came.” Mina dug a few granola bars ((or whatever our food supplies consist of)) out of her pack and stuffed them into the Elder’s hands; that would have to tide him over for now.
Then Mina looked over the other cells again; now that her eyes had adjusted, she could easily make out the furry quadrapedal forms of the Dark-type dogs being held here.
What is the Fire Lord doing—trying to start his own kennel???
Her thoughts turned anguished and her expression grim as she surveyed further and realized just how many of them there were; she had no idea if Oodramer had the energy to break every single lock. Even if he did, it would take time—time whatever guards there were could use to flood into the dungeon and interfere. On top of that there were over two dozen of them: all wild, all Shadowed. They might very well attack the three humans the moment they were free. Now Mina had confidence in her team and was reasonably certain they could hold off the pack of them if it came to that, but she wasn’t so certain they could do that, AND still be fit to get through whatever else they might encounter in this place.
And yet, Mina reflected with a sense of harassed despair, she knew she was going to release them all anyway. Regardless of the risks and everything else, they were Pokemon, and as a trainer she couldn’t in good conscious leave them caged as they were.
She did think it would be a good idea to warn Stacey first, though.
In an undertone to the other girl, Mina whispered, “Going to let them out.” She tossed her head in the direction of the rest of the dungeon cells. “Objections?”

Christian looked at the scene and then he sighed. "See? This is what happens when your headstrong and charges right into unknown enemy teritory. But don't worry I'll help you... somehow..." Christian then sat down started thinking about away to free the two people.

Draloed looked at the ancient charging him... its not too uncommon for ghost types to possess people... or at least attempt... If only they could be friends... think of how many questions could be answered if they only could be friends.
Draloed had to act fast and had to act now...
Draloed sends out Ironsides.
"Ironsides harden and Zucruu astonish Kreiznrak again"
who is this guy anyway draloed thought...

You head through the door and take a peek through the hallway. You see a Tyrasin walking off into the distance to your right. It appears to be patrolling, and hasn't given any signs of knowing of the group's entry into the castle.

After what seems like an eternity, the Oodramer/Munchlax duo has opened all of the locks. Almost in unison, the dog Pokémon race out of the dungeon. One Houndour shoots a menacing glance back at the Elder, and then leaves as well.
Meanwhile, the Elder is eating heartily and doesn't even notice the glance. He then stands up weakly and points out:
"We should leave before Aidrelas finds out that your group is in this dimension."
((Well, too late for that, eh? ))
Stacey:
You reach the door and look both ways. To the right, you see nothing worthy of note, but to the left, you think you can make out a Tyrasin. It is still far away, and shows no signs of having noticed you...

Signaling to the others to hold on, I am going to go further in and see if there are any other doors or passageways that we can go into without the creature seeing. If not will fall back a little, use the pokedex to send a message to the other two "We need to rush a Tyrasin and knock it out before it realizes what is going on and can signal others. I'll call out Hedge and just charge, you two follow and hit it with everything..take it down fast." ((I will have Hedge use Scratch if it comes to that)).

“Great job, Oodramer. Return!”
Mina recalled the Spectral type for a well-deserved rest as the hoard of dog Pokemon opted to take off rather than fight (thankfully). She did note the rather hostile glance one Pokemon threw back at Elder Roden…she didn’t pay much mind to it, however, mentally attributing it to being Shadowed as she composed a brief text to the rest of the group.
~Found Elder Roden, status OK.~
"We should leave before Aidrelas finds out that your group is in this dimension." the Elder said suddenly.
Mina nodded mutely, not really wanting to be the one to tell him said Legendary was already sitting right on their door step…apparently still snoozing, as she didn’t hear the dog Pokemon being attacked, but still.
Stacey returned from her solitary vigil.
"There's a Tyrasin a fair distance away from the door. We may be able to continue on, unnoticed. That may be the best plan, if we want to limit shadow exposure."
“I agree. Oodramer can probably take it, but I’d rather let him rest for a bit right now. Can we get to the throne room from here?” Mina glanced over her shoulder back at Elder Roden.

After analyzing the situasion, Christian figured that it seemed somewhat hopeless. Christian then saw the throne in the distance. A throne, but no fire lord.
"Great, now I got to do something before this all goes to hell!" Christian thought.
"Scyther, get out here and give us a hand. Hit one of the kadabra's with pursuit!"

He quickly looked at The ancient and a plan hatched in his mind.
