Cheers Adrius, keep reading  Initially I was more than satisfied with the anime but I later found out that at some point it diverged and covered only around half of the storyline. Ofc you could notice some unfinished plot threads but it did have a conclusion so it didn't matter all that much.

Well Nyuu is acting a bit more mature now so I guess things have changed a bit.

I think I got an awesome Idea.
I should marathon elfen lied, saikano, higurashi and school days.
The animes that is.
I'm pretty sure I'd be ready to suicide after that.

This is Joonas we're talking about. It's not a romance without at least one horrifying bloodbath.
Elfen Lied is a sweet manga except the creator really overused making it look like somebody was about to die and then not having them get killed. After the first several times it lost its dramatic effect. I remember Nana being my favorite character.

Now watching: Higurashi no Naku Kori ni. It starts out looking like a harem full of moe, then becomes a thriller, then becomes a kind of conspiracy/murder mystery. It's easily the creepiest series I've ever watched - definitely more so than, say, Evangelion.

I have no idea where you draw that one Blizz but I like the definition.

Just finished it - going to start on Higurashi Kai tomorrow.
I thought the ending was satisfying in its content but disappointing in its genericness. After what the rest of the series was like, I didn't expect such a standard ending. Although with all the twists in the series, a meta-twist like that works.
