Yet again, I find myself baffled by the fondness for Nagas. I can only think that it stems from Warcraft 3 and not the 3 units from the past Heroes games.

The Ashan Naga looks and are nothing like Warcrats naga so dont worry.
Really, nothing is similar between them at all.

@Alc: certainly, some programs have had references to future races, I remember finding them myself. Can't remember which predicted what though.
For me, Faceless being far higher than the Dwarves seems inexplicable - the Faceless hardly make for a good race imo, and there can't be that many of them left in the world if we go by the myth Alc mentioned. Perhaps the very race-based HoMM5 Fortress has put people off. And yes, Orcs and Trolls or whatever are fairly similar even if their backgrounds in lore are different, and when / if we continue with this poll I'll / we'll have to do a bit of thinking to come up with a good list.

Oh and Gnoll_Mage, thanks for creating and finishing the poll The results were well worth it.

Again, can some please explain to me what or who the 'faceless' are?

Quote: Also the orcs, are (if you have read Silmarilion/Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit) elfs tortured and miscared and kept in the dark for so long and so much that they look like the do. Also they are somewhat a mini troll, but trolls also exist in Tolkiens stories
Well, that Orcs are tortured, kind of mutated, elfs, is just the Tolkien idea/explanation of the Orcish origin and although I like the Tolkien universe i do not think it should be taken as kind of an encyclopedia for fantasy!
And, btw, orcs are no mini-trolls at tolkien's, trolls are ripped out of ents as orcs of elves, but elves are no mini-ents, are they?
I didn't mean it totally like that. I meant that they got the role that trolls usally have in other fantasy stories before the orcs came.

WE DON'T KNOW! You did get all the info we had on them by Alc, and that is what makes them so good to have! They're the mysterious dark persons who we almost nothing about. And as we are humans and is a curious spiecies we most certainly like the idea of having them in the next game to see what they are really like.
Yes I know I make it sound like I think this is real life, but I just used the fact that humans are curious to back me up on this one.

I think there is concept art of them.
Basically they are humans without a face, yes its boring. I hope they have changed the design though.

But I find Baklava's Town Proposal for the Faceless the best untill now imo.
