Asheera.. You may only play casually but some are really committed to this, improving strategies, trying the new maps, spending time for these games and picking their opponents.

I don't question that you're right, hell, if I'm promised something and have worked really hard to get it I'd be furious if it turned out to be a lie (Though I think this is rather a misunderstanding)
But this insulting... isn't there any better way to express yourself?

You guys got my full support on your situation.
This is not simply an honor issue, but an ugly organizational situation. They have abused your trust and your very compliance to the tournament. Relations within ToH are solely based in mutual trust and respect. When those two are temporarily ignored, or bypassed, wathever the reason, this degradates the very essence of our community: credibility. This puts the organizers in a very delicate situation, where players will doubt their very word.
My piece of advice: admins, review ans solve the situation while the dust is low. At least their honor points and grades shall be given. And if I were in your position, I would get to the point of breaking down my own piggie to pay the winners. I prefer a stain on my bank account then a stain in my reputation anytime.
Congratulations to the non-official winners.

Since it appears that my previous post I made some comments not remembering that we was in Season 2... that gave reason to some people to focus on that part of the post and not the important part... So I will again repost my previous post without my errors... so the main focus can be read...

You guys are just plain sad excuses for human beings... Vesuvius lets you play in his tournamnet for FREE! He spends TONS of his own money for Automation of the site and countless amounts of his time to work on the site for your behalf.. and again it cost you NOTHING! Yet you still complain.. There is no binding contracts... I have always understood that there will be a " Chance" for prizes... but they are NEVER guarenteed! Grow up!! Get a Life! If I was vesuvius I would say that sure I will send you your $250, just as soon as you guys send him $1 for every game you registered on HIS site!
You guys make me SICK! Never have I seen such a display of greed and dishonor and lack of integrity in all my life!!
I would be ashamed to even show my face in a Tournament of Honor if I was you guys.

I can play for free EVERYWHERE.
I gave at least one year of my free time to play in ToH, fooled by the FALSE ADVERTIZING.
A real man is bind by his own word. Not by money.
Should I pay Vesuvius to receive my prize ?

You should be paying to play... vesuvius is extremely generous to offer and maintain such a site for FREE! So my point was that if he charged like he should... you would be paying much more over time then that little cash prize you are crying about. And if that little bit of money is gonna ruin your life... then you obviously cant afford to feed yourself... so shouldnt be wasting money on internet connection in first place.....
If you can play free everywhere.. then please DO... Leave us.. go elsewhere.. I am sure we will survive without you. TOH has survived just fine for 9 years now!

Calm down you guys, the point was made already, lets wait for Vesuvius reply. And just to clarify, im not thrashing anyone here, Im saying there is an issue which has to be adressed, for sakes of mutual respect, plus they have a legitim complaint, and the right to share it.
The implosion imbued arguments can be easily left aside. Cmon now, we're grown ups here. Lets deal with this in a proper way, less we endanger the very core of this community.

drama drama drama. I answered two of these guys already in private, but I see the words were wasted. I wish I had the reply saved in my outbox so I don't have waste more time replying to it here.
You who complain that I'm not handing out enough money out of my pocket, should blame UBI, for creating a game that wasn't multi-friendly, and totally killed the potential online community for homm5. I made the clans pages before homm5 was released, with the great hope that we'd have 1000s of active players. But with two dozen active players, it doesn't make sense for me to pay out $1000 for clans.
Somehow people forget that Strider gets $250, and Vex gets $250 -- and if this caesars ever gets finished, that is another $500 -- $1000 out of my pocket.
Anyways, I've made my money by spending every every day on FTV, spent a decade of my free time and money on ToH, every day, non stop -- and I'm starting to lose my stamina with internet thugs, keyboard warriors, haters, and unconsequential lowlifes (somehow they seem to multiply as the economy gets worse).
It comes to a point where I will have to decide to grow up, and leave this stupidity.

Blame UBI, because UBI offered money prizes and took them back when they got "DISAPPOINTED".
Why didn't you say anything year and a half ago when the "ToH Clans" was in it's early stage ? By that time you already knew that the activity is low. Why didn't you warned the players that came here to win some REAL prizes?
Why do you give only half the prizes, to half the players ?
edit:
By the way: Vesuvius, why do you comment only the money? Is it just your pockets that you care about? What about the HONOR, what about the FALSE PROMOTION, what about changing the prizes AFTER THE END of the tournaments?

Most people here post before think and do only emotional comments. Situation is very simple. Will give example from heroes game: We do rules for no DV in final battle but when i come to my oponent and see my stats are so low i use DV for COMPENSATION so its give me won.Are its OK?
Dont be stupid to blame AL or me/jorko for being principle. We all have real job and money so argue is not about money its about honor. I can understand if Ves say "activity was low" and drop all money prizes. Its will be OK for me. Me and my clan mates playing heroes 3/4/5 last 8-9 years for FUN ONLY. From other side if here was anonced prizes its normal people to expect to get them.
I dont blame Ves. He is do alot work for us and now need to pay for it too  If ToH was sponsored from big company will be different. I hear VEX refuse to get his prize. If its true he is realy HONOR man. I dont expect much honor from Strider but maybe this time he can act honorable and refuse to get prize and back money to Ves?
Dont understand us wrong. How i say its about honor. You cant compare Strider with his 50 games vs all clan with over 250-300 games. 1st is simple inactive and self player for MONEY prize. Not did much to up activity in ToH. Why he deserve money?
About your post Jinxer. When you say someting real i can comment it. For door its simple. If AL out from it we can play new game with hims. Kicking your A$$ IN-OUT from door
