Why dont you Show Strider those moves you always show Al? 
The only thing you can come up with is my past games lol.

Facts regarding the issue
1. Technically this clan ir right. Technically, Ves forgot to denounce the clan money award due to disappointing activity. He is ALONE running this place! It is a simple absentmindedness in this case
2. Yet, humanly this thread is hideous.  What is its purpose After leveling the godfather with earth, do you expect Ves to come forward with hung head and send checks across the world to some "internet thugs" who have humiliated him? 
Respect and Appreciation
1. None virtual community can last without mutual respect. The whole TOH dwells on Ves shoulders! As any person, sometimes he makes decisions that are not well perceived by some individuals. Yet, face the reality - Ves is the only asset we have and we must accept and respect his decisions. I have had my small share of disagreements with Ves but very soon I've realized "not to spit in the well you drink from". I urge you to do the same!
2. This quotation from Ves post really alarms me:

3. My only hope is that Ves, having a buckload of life experience, knows very well that absolute majority here appreciates your work.

Dishonourable??? Again and again I'm being forced to return to this subject as slandering never ceases. Seems that nancy (elit) constantly promotes this legend among his eager listeners (I have only 2 games in total with that mob). My answer:
Strider NEVER cheated or killed noobs. He plays maps that both players know. His last 40 games from 50 are on full random.
Then why am I attacked Short synopsis: This whole slandering started AFTER game 1 in the Caesars where I was stupid enough to defend friend's map in the argument whether it is "orcish". Before this argument we were good internet buddies with sq, chatted a lot about real life. He graded me honourable in this very game report. Yet, my intolerance to lost party's views spoiled it.
That's the point where sq created a thread about my attitude. The real party started when nancy and jerko blew the subject to dramatic proportions and suddenly Strider became "lame, cheater and dishonourable" hehe And this image has been regularly refreshened in this forum for last 3 months. 
Major suggestion
Ves has little spare time. Most of the community has been fed up with this trend of flaming threads as repeatedly pointed out by Aculias. Perhaps, Ves, you could delegate moderator's functions to some honourable member or buddy of yours in order to enforce Code of Conduct as in any decent forum. I doubt you enjoy seeing into what your child has grown...

This topic is not about you Strider. Its about ToH prizes/rules. If you chek all coments here many ppl ask us "why we want money"...and we say we dont want if its same for all. So far only you accept to get Ves money. If you was real man you will come here and say: "No problem will back money lets have peace." But its utopia. Look like all in ToH play for fun and only you for money.

As this thread clearly shows too much Online Gaming provokes greed, anger, hatred and frustration with life. One gamer invests alot of time and energy to BE someone in a virtual community, to earn respect and recognition. Finding out that after all effort this virtual world gave him none of the expected, he feels a great emptyness. Virtual games will never fullfill those expectations in the long run, the most you will ever be is some high score on an internet site noone really cares about. Play it cool relax, enjoy the game as a mere amusement and you won't be disapointed. Quiting the community? Why not, everyone should take a break from time to time.

Exactly - it's not about me  Therefore even more annoyingly surprising to find in nancy's posts my name consistently accompanied with "dishonourable, plays for points and wants only money"...
Especially, because I didn't attack Ves demanding money AND in last 20 games I played with oponents 200-400 points lower as there were no honourable active players at the same point level, risking a lot and gaining a little. On contrary to nancy who often and openly rejects players using points argument hehe
Apart from Al, nancy's claims sound purely envious In no way I would reject Ves' kind reward by succumbing to whining of this lame lowlife be it a simple virtual medal or million bucks.

Two last pieces of advice for all of us:
1. Don't spit in the well you drink from. Leave Ves alone and appreciate that we have him at all. Argument politely and if still dissatisfied - accept his decisions.
2. Introduce active moderator who keeps the community in order according to the Code of Conduct if we are too immature ourselves.

Actualy topic make me sad. I dont know what to do. My Team mates are more from all community and look like i will loss AL.
I dont want to blame Ves. He is doing alot job for all us but this time he is not right. If some one in ToH deserve prize for season one its my team. So its look totaly ugly to drop prizes for us and make new prize. Here no excuse for it. Send money to Strider is another gas in fire.
If Ves drop prizes need to be for all. Other is simple slap in the face.
We dont want to get Ves money. USA are in big crisis now All what we want is respect and same standart for all.

For the record...If I ever won any monetary prize in TOH ( doubt that will ever happen ) but if I did... I would not accept it.. I would donate it back to TOH... The Joy and fun and amazing memories and friends I have made.. over the last 9 years... is PRICELESS!!
I can rememeber back in the beginning before Ves was a millionaiire .. and couldnt afford no fancy automation... I volunteered countless hours doing the rankings updates... Manually! Would take me like 3 hours to right down all the reports... do the calculations and then add them to the pages.. Did I ask for anything NO! Because I was Already getting my payment! Free access to play in TOH.
Vesuvius is a great true friend... and He will ALWAYS have my Appreciation and Respect!!

So, is everyone calm now? Now that we had this lovely anger management session I assume everyone has cursed, fought and got pissed off in a generous proportion. Its time to stop the roman circus now. Independent of which party you guys are defending you are just making it look worse with that attitude. If we were gathered in Battle.net with other testosterone-fueled-14-agers this would be acceptable. But as you guys say, we have car insurances, houses, expenses, and what not. WE ARE GROWN UPS. Or at least thats is how we should be acting. Take a look at how you guys reacted to a post opposite to your point of view from the very beggining, with ultimate wrath and personal offenses. Its like a Stronghold khan-sucession here, for crying out loud.
Now, Ves is a great admin. His past records explicit that in every way. But he is feeling injusticed and overdemanded. No one in sane conscience doubts how much of ones time it takes, to put those gears to work.
But, he made a mistake. No mather what situations lead this to happen, it occured. Myself, as a medicine student have seen serious mistakes happening right before my eyes. And those mistakes ARE always brought to discussion. They ARE pointed, and thats how we make progress. No one goes like: Oh he is such a wonderful doc, we should just ignore what happened in this room today. Hell no.
I think Jorko, Elit and Al have the right to feel diminished by what has happened, and to complain about it. This kind of manifestation is NOT a flamming thread. It brings important questions such as: are the money prizes really necessary to attract players? Should there be a monthly money contribution from the fans? Does Ves need help with the administration of ToH?
Why aren't we adressing those important matters with Ves right now? Because we are children having food fight. No one can discuss properly when there is no maturity to separate personal feelings from
community matters.
Stop that now guys. In the name of ToH.

I've already mailed the check to Strider already, its not going to be reversed. As for Vex, he deserved the award, he is the best MVP to come in ages. He's decided to 'reallocate' the prize to the subtournament he's involved in. And there is still the Caesars, if it ever finishes.
If you want pure honesty, its here -- simple -- I hadn't looked at the medals & awards page in over a year, and unfortunately never took down the clan prizes. I knew that it would be unrealistic to ever give out that much money when it was secondary to main rankings, caesar, and mvp awards. But alas, call it a mistake, I neglected to re-edit that page until the clan season 2 was set up.
If sending out money to grease al killmore, jorko, elit etc... just to keep them 'happy' -- well I would feel it unjust on my end. The prizes there were made for a massive participation of 1000s of players in 100s of clans. Not 20 players.
Again, look at how things started in season I. Bugs in multi that elimitated any chance of finishing a game, UBI chat room that really wasn't much of a chat room or user-friendly, and the wait for patches that took over a year to make the game multi-friendly. It essentially took 2000 potential players and reduced them to 20 hardcores.
Anyways, go do some research; take a look at other online tournaments. See if any of them has given out as much cash as I have, and see if any of them have lasted a decade without fail. I get the feeling that ToH has been there longer than anything else out there. Unless a tournament has been sponsored by a big company eg. Nvidia, ATI, AMD, Intel, etc... good luck in finding something like ToH.
And when some of you say 'oh that stupid medal graphic... whats it worth'... Wasn't that the point of every award with any tournament out there since the beginning of time? The idea is continuity, and I've kept it since 1999. You can go see your records and history, and that is the beauty of ToH -- that a veteran from homm4 could end up in homm6, and still retain his record, activity and awards from two generations of heroes.
