The Great Adventure [PBEM]
Here’s an idea: we pick an XL map, play it by e-mail, and post turn logs in this thread – in the form of an RPG adventure. Crazy or not?
For example, we take "Back for Revenge". You remember that map, right? There’s a huge stack of Behemoths on the central island, and the allies have to defeat them before time runs out. We need three players who will sign up by posting here. Then I start a hotseat game, finish my turn, and send the saved game to the next player. After that, I post a short summary:Quote:
Without any resources, Tazar was unable to build or recruit troops, which made him grumpy. Such a great warrior should engage in epic battles, not pick up wood and ore! However, a Learning Stone drew his attention... Will his Gnolls be able to defeat the Pikemen guarding the glimmering monument? But the Beastmaster will have to wait till tomorrow to find out...

We would have to play as allies because you can see other players’ turns, but again, it could be like a long adventure... If you think 200% against the AI is too easy, I can edit the map and replace the Behemoths with Ghost Behemoths (or something).
Anyone interested?
You'll need WoG 3.58f and some free time (to post at least once in 2-3 days).

@JoonasTo: Didnt Finland has a law that if you play pc games a lot you can get away from the army for one year?
I'd love to participate to, but my pc is fried (again)

Yes, it's gonna be very slow - it could last for months. But there's no rush... Think of it as a role playing game, not a multiplayer match. We can start and see how it goes, and quit if it sucks. 
As for the difficulty settings - sure, we can play 130% for example (because the AI is as good as 200%, but you start with more resources). Don't worry, you'll have allies to help you or send resources... And you'll be able to see how others play, maybe even learn a trick or two.

I'm sure that i've read somewhere that you can receive a white ticket if you're addicted to some game. So you can be safe from the army for a year cause

200% AI is quite challenging as it makes your brain actually work(starting with no resources etc) and puts on a real brainfryer as you must figure out how to beat it.

And go to some institution in holland? Yeah I'd love that too.
Being gay is no excuse.
200% is not really hard if you get a decent hero or play a castle with easy early time, like rampart, for example. If you get a űber early hero like gurni it's child's play.
So are we going to see screenshots? Or better yet, get the saves after a while?
