Day 1, Week 2

Cuthbert had already said goodbye to his loved ones. Going into a Monolight One-Way was one of the most riskful actions to do, certainly for a hero with just one pikeman. But Orrin ordered him to go, so he had no choice. As he set course for the Monolight, he took a treasure chest along the way. To his astonishment, Orrin was waiting near the Monolight. Was he going to give more nasty orders?
As Cuthbert approached, Orrin got of his horse.
"Cuthbert, friend..."
"Hello, Orrin."
"Please forgive me my foolishness, don't go into the One-Way Portal."
"Are you serious?"
"Very. Now I'd like you to just continue exploring as usual. Report if you find anything worth reporting."
"Allright."
Delighted, Cuthbert turned around again and saw a Seer's hut. He decided to get in and ask the old man what he wanted. When an enormous amount of gold and resources was demanded, it didn't take long for Cuthbert to get out again. Who the hell does that Seer think he is? But over the treetops he saw another spectacular phenomenon... It was a small deserted Erathian outpost, inhabited by rebellian archers. Orrin must hear this!

While Cuthbert went South, Orrin went North to his Castle and found himself overwhelmed by new recruits. Allright then, he thought. This week will be the week of battles!!!

I'm not sure what went wrong, but I got to play Blue instead of Tan now. LOL Please check if you uploaded the right save (or maybe it was my mistake, so try to load the previous one too). To be sure, end your turn and see if Tan is next.

Blue's turn as well. Strange...
When I load the save SK sent me, it is also Blue that gets the turn...

What now?

Your "turn 20" messed things up. It's from another game. You have probably started a new game with similar but different settings... Which is fine, but try not to mix them up. Let us know if you can find the right file, OK? End turns to see if you got Red, Orange and Tan.

LOL It's not hard, but the problem is the save I got to load is from another game: my heroes are not where I left them the day before, etc. So please don't mess with my turns or at least don't mix it up, OK?

Day 8

Tazar clearly remembered falling asleep on the road (where he had set a camp the evening before in order to have more movement in the morning)... but he woke up near a pond with a scarlet swan. Had the witch cursed him after all, or was it the doing of the dreaded Skeleton King, the powerful wizard who commanded the fate itself? Anyhow, the beastmaster's musings were interrupted by the reinforcements from Mossden.

Having defeated a small group of Wights, Tazar easily cleared the road ahead. A garrison with no less than sixty Dragon Flies blocked his path, and the beastmaster lost his stack of faithful Troglodytes in the ensuing battle. The recently gained experience enabled him to master Earth Magic, which could prove crucial along with his commander's Haste spell.

A good day ended even better when a group of young Gogs (whom Tazar had planned to slaughter) decided to join in search of a greater glory. "My reputation precedes me", the beastmaster gloated.

Meanwhile, Malekith sailed south. The sea was clear without treasures to loot or pirates to avoid, so the warlock had the time to whip up a short note to Orrin:

"Dear Orrin,

I have left you a gift on the shore of a small desert island in the north. Please send a scout to retrieve the artifact - it would be such a pity if an enemy hero got hold of it first
."

He attached the parchment to a homing pigeon's leg, then freed the winged messanger, hoping the bird will reach his ally on time.

Week 2, Day 2

As Cuthbert had approached the little new town, he stated that Orrin was needed to conquer it, and ran back to call for his master.

Orrin, overwhelmed by all these new recruits that appeared at the start of the week, immediately ran for a group of Wild Gogs, the one Cuthbert had fled from earlier. They were no match for his army, neither were a group of Gnoll Marauders, who were guarding a Guardhouse.

At the end of the day, Mirko came to Orrin.
'Master, I have seen a pigeon with a message wandering around our camp.'
'Catch it then, it might be to us!' The Knight looked around to find it.
'The men are tired, unless you want to exploit them, let them get it tomorrow.'
'Erm... yes, very well then.'

Day 9

Tazar unwillingly passed by another neutral Fortress... The numerous defenders of the city of Hermit's Cove didn't worry him much, but the fortifications did. So he stayed on the road clearing the way, while his two scouts wandered the moor in search of resources, especially wood. The beastmaster wondered what his opponent in the north was doing, for soon he would face his enemy... He was glad his allies had advanced well, because the time for great battles had come.

Meanwhile, Malekith had discovered a straits between two large landmasses and decided to sail eastward.

Week 2, Day 3

After a hilarious hunt, Orrin's men finally caught the pigeon and its message. Orrin read it with most interest.
'Ah, so good old Tazar left us a gift? Looks like Cuthbert has to enter the Monolight One-Way after all.'
Fate made it so that by nightfall, both heroes were seperated only by a few bushes. Orrin shouted the order to Cuthbert, who shivered at the spot.

Day 10

Tazar rode north, getting off the road just to loot a Dwarven Treasury. The defending miners had no doubt heard about the ill fate that befell their cousins in the south and were better prepared, but managed to kill only a few careless Gnolls.

On the other hand, the scouts discovered two most interesting sights. The first was a secluded valley with a Hydra Pond, the second a shipyard on the west shore. The former was guarded by strong Tatalian forces and had to wait, but the latter was defended only by a stack of Skeleton Warriors. They must have been Dwarven explorers once who got lost and killed in these marshes, then raised by a local Necromancer to keep a watch over the coast. Needless to say, Tazar couldn't possibly know all that, and he couldn't care less; all that mattered to him was to send the Skeletons back to the grave, flag the shipyard and send another scout to the sea.

Week 2, Day 4

Cuthbert will go into the Monolight tomorrow, and Orrin is planning a siege on an Erathian outpost. He today again has shown his might by slaying a group of Gargoyles, the same he scattered for a week ago. He clearly overestimated them. He freed a scholar from their clutches and the scholar taught him Precision in return. Tomorrow is the big fight for Orrin, and the big adventure for Cuthbert.

Day 11

Tazar's troops grew weary and started to show low morale; they have been on the road for a week now, and each day brought a few battles. Three different alignments didn't help, and it was only a matter of time before the beastmaster dismissed one of stacks. For now, he was glad to have them as fodder against 45 Dragon Flies from the Hive and additional 60 guarding the Garrison ahead. Indeed, Tazar lost a few shooters, but got six fresh Wyverns instead. All in all, he was satisfied how things went: his skills were somewhat low but chosen carefully, while his commander had become a slow but mighty warrior.

Tazar was wondering how his allies were doing...?
