Two turns today? Nice. Quote: Week 2, Day 5

Hehehe, good for you! It seems Blue has sent half of his troops through the one-way portal. His town should be easier to conquer now. It's a pity for the Angel Feather Arrows though... Can you get it before the Blue hero does? By the way, what's guarding that Garrison in the screenshot?
Guys, thanks to the Gold Mine I have a few thousands to spare if you really need gold...?
Day 12
Tazar discovered yet another outpost (appropriately called Backwater ). He had to get rid of two packs of Hell Hounds on his way, but the town itself wasn't guarded. The beastmaster hired another warrior named Krellion in order to scout the area.
The barbarian discovered a Gnoll village of not one or two but FOUR huts. The place was guarded by some Marauders though... Perhaps Krellion could borrow some of Tazar's troops, defeat the guards, recruit creatures and return them all to his master...? Perhaps, but the swamp was too deep and he was too slow... Besides, the enemy might ambush Tazar in the north.
So Krellion was sent to do some grave digging in the Warrior's Tomb nearby, a task not dignifying enough for a great general such as Tazar (in addition, his troops already had bad morale and little movement ).The beastmaster was hoping for a sword to boost his low Attack, but got an Inexhaustible Cart of Lumber. Disappointed, he let Krellion keep it, lest it occupy a slot... What he didn't know was that builders in Mossden were quite happy with this discovery, because they had just built the Hydra Pond and were out of wood.

Week 2, Day 6
Cuthbert was attacked by Caitlin, the name of the blue hero, who apparantly had manners, since she nicely introduced herself before the battle. Since Cuthbert had nothing on him but one pikeman, he had absolutely no chance.
The Archers Tower in Kanan was upgraded, as ordered by Orrin. In the outpost, a tavern was needed. Orrin himself was angry now he was all on his own. There was no gold to hire an extra hero, so he needed to shake his anger of. Unfortunately, some Nomads and Pixies were on his road. He captured a source of mercury before he decided to end the day.

Week 2, Day 6
Tazar followed the road to the north and captured the enemy's only town without a fight. The city of Lostmoor was undefended, but there was no doubt the enemy heroes were somewhere close... Expecting a siege, the beastmaster erected a castle and decided to wait.
Meanwhile, Bron managed to beat 25 Skeleton Warriors with his 6 Harpies (and War Machines ). He flagged the shipyard, but lacked the lumber to build a boat.
Although they were out of wood, the bearers of the tan flag had extra gold. So Tazar decided to send some to his allies, along with a short note:
"Dear Allies,
Here are 2500 gold coins - don't waste it all on booze!"

No I couldn't get it before the Blue Hero attacked me. A pity.
More snowty fact:
First time I played it there was no blue hero, but then the game crashed, and I hadn't saved yet. When I played it again, suddenly there was a blue hero
I'll tell you what's guarding the garrison after the next turn

Week 2, Day 7
A caravan of money came from the good ally Tazar.
'2500 goldpieces, sir,' concluded Mirko after counting the coins on Orrin's command.
'2500? Good, let us go to the tavern then and have a drink!' said Orrin.
'We should not spend it on booze, advises the Beastmaster.'
'Not? Hmm...'
After a short discussion they concluded that hiring a replacement for Cuthbert (R.I.P.) would be the wisest thing to do.
Loynis was hired and got rid of a bunch of centaurs guarding the Shipyard. A victory on his very first day of work, Orrin just knew this cleric was the best.

Hehehe, good roleplay.
Week 2, day 7
"ALL HAIL TAZAR!" The beastmaster organized a big feast in order to honor the victory against the bearers of the Green flag. It was a day for celebration, there were buildings to be built and no fights to be fought.
However, strange darkness loomed from the west, and the fog of war hid parts of the island that Tazar had already explored... Where did this shadow come from...?

Week 3, Day 1
As the new week commenced, Orrin rode to the north and visited the guardhouse on his way. In the middle of the road he saw Loynis, who just spotted a piece of crystal waiting on the road.
Loynis turned out to be a bright cleric. Not only did he carry the Skull Helmet he found earlier and gave it to Orrin, but also did he managed to checkmate Orrin in merely three turns! Orrin was never beaten at chess before...

Week 3, Day 1
Now the sole ruler of his island, Tazar recruited this week's reinforcements and strolled to the south... There was a thing or two he should do, like flagging that tough garrison for example. After that the beastmaster planned to set sail and discover the source of that strange darkness looming over his lands... The fog of war started to annoy him.
Meanwhile, Malekith was sailing back home when he discovered a gate with blue flags. "There must be something important behind it", thought the warlock, but he would have to wait for the next day to find out.

Week 3, Day 2
While Tazar was riding south, one of his scouts named Krellion marched into a huge Gnoll settlement. He thought that bearing a tan flag would be enough to persuade the beastmen to join his cause, but a bunch of Marauders ambushed his party. The barbarian's Gnolls (and his Ballista) quickly pacified the hotheads, but he was still surprised he had to fight in the first place. "Please forgive them", growled one of the villagers he recruited. "The word is a swarm of Ancient Behemoths are on a rampage, and folks are jumpy."
Many miles away, Malekith learned they had every right to be! Sailing along the coast of the central island, among barren hills and human bones, the warlock saw the Behemoths' lair!
