Week 4, Day 1
A new type of income was added to the kingdom as Orrin succesfully attacked the guardians of a Crystal Cavern. That sounds more than it really was, since those guardians were merely Lizardmen.
"I can't see how Tazar can get along with those creatures," said Orrin out loud.

Week 4, Day 1
Today was a national holiday because the city of Mossden had been pronounced the capital of the province. Everybody spent the day celebrating - well, everybody but Tazar, who was on his way to the port - and who preferred leaving economics and festivities to others anyway. A month had passed, and the time was running out. The beastmaster and his allies had only four more months to defeat the beasts.

Thanks, guys.  I actually think Ayreon is better at role playing. And without Skeleton_King all this would be impossible. Speaking of which - where is he today?! LOL I feel like killing some Behemoths...
Anyhow, I'm glad it's been as fun to watch as it's been to play. Stay tuned, epic battles are yet to come.

Week 4, Day 2
As Orrin gathered all the pieces of crystal around the Cavern itself, his eye fell upon a garrison with magical sparks around it. His commander did not need to tell him that it was protected against Magic, but nevertheless did. An army at least twice the size of Orrin's was glaring at them from the towers.
'Master, let us get out of here fast, shall we?' suggested Mirko.
'But we will return,' Orrin responded.

I think Marius will recapture her town next turn... not sure you can defend it really, but good luck. Anyhow, you've been great so far, SK. You expanded real fast and built up your main nicely. Don't suicide though! LOL
Week 4, Day 2
Tazar finally broke to the coast, but this time a bunch of Earth Elementals guarding a gold mine interested him more than the view of the ocean. Meanwhile, his scouts scattered throughtout the kingdom, making preparations for the long journey.
The beastmaster would have considered the day wasted if he hadn't scribbled a note to his ally Zydar: "One of my men has informed me there's a green Keymaster's Tent in your duchy. See you there in a week or two. P.S. I've got something for you."
Late in the evening a messanger came from the local Seer: "If your master reached Knowledge of 15 and Spellpower of 10, the Seer would reward him richly." Tazar just snorted "Ha!" and went to get some long deserved sleep.

Marius will re-conquered the town, and will leave. Olema, in the sanctuary, will re-conquer the town, and then return to the sanctuary. It's like a game: strike and return. They'll play this little game untill Zydar will be here. He'll conquer the town, and built citatel. Marius will try to beat me in the siege. After I beat her, I'll go to Xarfax. Then, Purple will be eliminated.

Week 4, Day 3
As the sun was shining brightly on the grassy lands of the duchy of Kanan, and as the birds were flying in the most spectacular formations through the cloudless sky, Orrin almost bored himself to death when finishing the day with a game of chess against his commander. It was so horribly easy he almost longed to play against Loynis again. As he lay on his bed, his commander brought the latest news from his allies, Tazar and Zydar.
Orrin even became a little moody. While this day again had brought nothing too fancy, but a visit to the Water Wheel and the salvation of an unguarded artifact known as the Torso of the Legion, Zydar was playing Strike and Run with his enemy. How jealous Orrin was, is unimaginable. After all, he had a long way to go until he could attack the anti-magic garrison that guarded the border between his duchy and the enemy's.

Week 4, Day 3
Having defeated a mixed stack of Earth and Magma Elementals, Tazar finally boarded the ship. The preparations took all day, so the beastmaster had to wait for tomorrow to sail out. He didn't plan to go far anyway - just across the straits, actually - because Malekith had earlier spotted the green Tent on the other coast, as well as another shiny artifact... Tazar intended to establish a naval route in the Eastern Sea and have his scouts supply him with reinforcements from the mainland while he was off adventuring.
A newcomer named Jaeger proved his worth when he cleared the south shore, got a pair of Equestrian Gloves from a Tomb, flagged some mines and even persuaded a pack of Zombies to join him (although others disapproved, because the undead stank).

Week 4, Day 4
Today was a day of haste. The spell was needed in almost every way. First of all, Loynis had planned to bring the new armies to Orrin within three days, but he obviously has been too slow. Second, while fighting Mummies, Orrin found that it took quite some time for his creatures to find the way to the other side of the field. And last but certainly not least, Blue has breached through the garrison and a fight is near.

Week 4, Day 4
Having crossed the straits, Tazar found himself on the central island. He ordered the troops and war machines unboarded, and again it took him an entire day. The beastmaster envied his allies who were about to engage in exciting battles, and he lost himself to reveries while he was supposed to be overseeing his crewmen.
Meanwhile, his men all rode towards the only shipyard in the kingdom, from where they were to sail out in different directions. Hopefully the guards will be dealt with by the time the scouts reach their respective Tents.

Week 4, Day 5
The blue hero has disappeared from sight, so report the scouts Orrin had sent. He had hasted towards the castle to upgrade some of his materials. Wooden pikes were so outdated compared to steel halberds. He even caught one of the wild Lizardmen he fought a few days ago laughing at the quality of the arms. This blue-flagcarrier might be a worthy enemy, and therefore, quality must be optimal. Preparations are being made to break through the garrison...

Week 4, Day 5
Tazar wanted to snub Orrin for not upgrading his Archers earlier, but soon he would regret never improving his own Serpent Flies... The building had been built a long time ago, but he never found the time to go back and train the flying beasts. The beastmaster knew all too well that the speed of Dragon Flies combined with his Expert Slow spell would give him the edge in most battles, but so far he didn't really need it. But then he saw a flight of Thunderbirds circling above the garrison in front of him.
The Orcs on top of the tall walls started hurling axes and insults at Tazar's troops below. "Insolent lap dogs", the beastmaster boiled, "They're brave only when Cyclopes and Ogres are behind their backs! Chaaarge!"
The Thunderbirds hit first, flying across the entire battlefield and killing a few Gorgons, whose gaze took several birds with them. Then Tazar got a grip and blinded the Cyclopes - they would be dealt with last. All his troops impatiently waited, all except Gageteer - the commander cast Haste, and the Magic Plains turned his whirling breeze into eight tornadoes.
The Ogres charged forward, but it was too little too late. The Wyverns swiped the Orcs and quickly flew back.
Then Gageteer stepped up and faced both the Ogres and the Cyclopes alone. He wouldn't kill many each turn, but backed with the Lizardmen's arrows and the First Aid Tent, the commander survived each heavy blow. Who knew that this Gnoll mage, fond of extravagant bathrobes, would become the most Fearsome warrior?

Alas, it seems Skeleton_King has defeated many monsters, but has been beaten by the greatest of all beasts - the real life. Until he comes back, I've played his turn so we can go on.
Anyhow, his hero Zydar has successfully defended his citadel against beautiful but dreadful Marius, and got some neat arties and skills.
