Good, except I wouldn't count Giggs as foreign... so better Pires.
I agree, though Bergkamp was never anything special when I got around to interest myself for football, though I've seen and heard of his high quality from before those days.
I'm especially fond of Viera, and since Veron is a favorite of mine, I'd be inclined to include him if it wasn't because he was nothing special in Man. U.

Not taking many risks there, eh?
Only the Milan - Celtic draw prediction really surprises me. Celtic is so far from what they used to be, I imagine only Wien has a worse team. Milan is still about the strength of Napoli, a team who can maybe do something to incredible Dortmund and solid Arsenal.

Nope, maybe that's why I'm terrible at predictions

I still think they can get a draw, personally I don't respect Milan too much. And I think Napoli is stronger than them.

Not after I started following the sport, no. Before, I'm sure he was.
I read up on it, and found out why too. Up till some time after France 98 he was regarded as one of the best forwards in the world, but only a year after it had become frustrating times and as time passed his position in Arsenal weakened somewhat.

You can include him in your top 11 if you want to. Would be cool to see which players you like the most. Mølby is "long" before I was interested in the sport (98), so I personally wouldn't know.
Edit: Come to think about it, I also thought Djorkaeff was rather good.

Okay, let's see, you had 5/8 right so far.
I had 5/8 too.
We both overestimated Leverkusen, and while I was more familiar with the Danish team as I should be, you were less familiar with a Spanish team!!?
I overestimated Plzen and Anderlecht.

I expected for Sociedad to get at least a goal as well, but oh well. United also did better than I thought, as did Madrid. And Juventus...

Ah sorry guys, I forgot how it feels when you're confident a team you cheer for will make a good result, and then they utterly fail (I recently experienced that too). If it's any consolidation, I'm sure Real S will do much better against United, and properly Leverkusen as well.
To be fair, I was in much doubt about the Juventus game. Juventus is so superior in Italy, and many Italian sides can easily wipe the floor with any danish team, so one would think Juventus would be even stronger. Futher more, Copenhagen has done horribly in the danish league for the first time in 15 years, or similar. If one counts all Copenhagen clubs, it's the first time in the entire history of the league.
But league strength is usually not the best indicator of how well a club will perform on international level.
Juventus also has a tendency to do bad against smaller teams, while doing great against stronger teams. I'd not be surprised if Real Madrid ends up with 10 points, with 2 losses against Juventus, or something similar. While Juventus will get the majority of their points against Madrid because for some reason Juventus does much better against stronger sides.
Also Juventus only got a draw last time they visited Copenhagen against a weaker team, and at that time Juventus was even stronger than today.

It happened with Leverkusen and to some extent Juventus for me, I hope it won't happen with Arsenal as well.

From what I saw during the extended highlights, Sociedad played better. They had 10 big occasions vs 2 for Shakhtar, hit the post twice etc.

Barcelona have never played against Ajax in an official match. It's incredible considering both teams kind of shared their evolutions.
