Normally I'd watch the Bayern game but I'm afraid that if I do then Arsenal will put on a very-not-Arsenal-like performance and pull something off.

Arsenal played better than I expected, but wasted so many chances. Barça had plenty as well, but they did net two in...

4/4 for Spanish teams in EL, with Villareal taking out one of the favourites (Napoli). Could easily be 3/3 in CL too.

Apart from the 4 Spanish teams,there are also 3 English teams in UEL, and 2 German teams, completed by 1 Italian, 1 Portugese, 1 Turkish, 1 Belgian, 1 Czech, 1 Swiss and 1 Ukrainian.
It's looking more interesting to me than the UCl right now.

Agreed. EL is much more evenly matched than CL, should make for a lot of fun games

This is a year where neither Manchester United, Chelsea nor Manchester City are challenging the title and somehow Arsenal is managing to let wwo other teams get ahead of them...it's actually funny.
Meanwhile R. Madrid lost a boring derby vs Atlético, proving that Zidane is no wizard...nor can he do anything if the players don't give a snow. All three midfielders trotting or not following the play at all.
It's the same problem the team had since the Galacticos era, there's no CM keeping the midfield and forwards connected with the defense, nor helping the later. Xabi Alonso was a godsent and the team will continue to fail as long as a player like him is brought to the team.

Pretty boring games today.
Decided to watch the Arsenal Hull FA cup replay(on a CL night... well done FA) and they only managed to pick up 3 extra injuries -all in defense ofc- just before playing Barca. Possibly no Cech, Koscielny, Merte, Gabriel and Rambo. 
Not that they had much of a chance but with the whole defence mising....
