And I'd like to say a few words on the CR-Messi rivalry: If they were not playing for two of the biggest rival teams in the world, I do not think there would be such a need to focus on them and pit them against each other. But I don't know for sure.

Oh absolutely, the press and the media will always make a bigger deal out of it than it really is, same for their achievements. However, that doesn't take away the fact that they have been miles ahead of their competition for the past 5 years or so.

They have been ahead, no matter how nostalgic I am.

I would like for the childish arguments between fans of the two teams/players to at least become more relaxed and civil if possible.

Qualifiers all-star team. Funny, I thought there must be a better left back than our "veteran" Razvan Rat, but I am glad.

Not at all, I never dismissed Messi's and CR's qualities, I was actually one of the first people in my circle of friends to say loud and clear that Messi will be bigger than Ronaldinho, and I've said this when I first saw Messi playing in a Juve-Barca friendly back in 2004-2005 I believe, it was a friendly game before the start of the new season and it was Ronalinho's spotlight back then, and the game was played at Nou Camp and Juve were leading 2-0, when in minute 70 something Messi had made his debut in an official game and in less than 10 minutes had created more havoc in the then-stellar defense of Juve (Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Thuram) who were not being bothered at all in the entire game by then, and he (Messi) created the 2 chances that totally destroyed Juve-s defense (I think he even scored a goal, I don't remember). And it was then when I said to my friends "look a player that will be bigger than Dinho" and my friends looked at me to see whether I was joking or I was being serious, and when they figured out I was being serious they laughed. Years later my supposition confirmed and Messi became what he has always been (a true talent)

So, I'm not taking away from these 2 amazing player's qualities, but it's not fair to make them bigger than they deserve to be ON other big players' BACKS (ibra, ribbery, robben, etc.).

Oh well... corruption is in human's nature I guess, so I don't think we will get rid of it too soon, or with light punishments anyway...

For the record, I think the teams that I posted first, as in the "home teams" will qualify.

To be fair even butterly farts are stronger than us atm. Sweden-Denmark seems interesting though. Sweeden seems to be weaker these past couple of years. Not every generation has a Zlatan in them to pull them along.

Prediction time!!!!

BATE v Barcelona              1:4
Dinamo Zagreb v Olimpiacos    2:1
Dinamo Kyiv v Chelsea         3:0
Leverkusen v Roma             2:0
Porto v Maccabi Tel-Aviv      5:2
Valencia v Gent               1:1
Zenit v Lyon                  2:3

I've given up on the UCL already, maybe the Gunners can reach the UEFA cup final like in the old days

I predict a Bayern M. vs R. Madrid final. Just personal preference

It's gonna happen one of these years since they meet every sigle year. Not in the knock out phases but in the group stages they might pull it off.

I want to say one word to you, just one word: Mesut

Seriously, I doubted him but now I know better. Also, Giroud actually works better as a substitute. Good form, mr. Wenger.

A draw at PSG stadium with the current amount of injuries is a good result for RM. They need to win in Bernabeu next matchday though.

Also, Navas currently holds 9 clean sheets out of 11 official matches. Not bad, huh.
