Again Germany gets knocked out when I thought they'd be the winners, just like two years ago. I guess I'll root for Italy in the final since I hate Spain's style.

La Roja! 
Liked Italy vs Germany game, Mario had some nice runs. It was dumb how they adjusted to restrict Pirlo and completely lost. Good last minute penalty for Ozil though-he deserved to score that one.
Also-Del Bosque to play three strikers

Best part?
Dunno, but Torres assist to Mata was totally awesome considering it was Mata's first game and he'd only been playing for like 4 minutes. 
Anyways great game, one of the only were the ones I was cheering for won...

Well that was a brutal conclusion. It kind of ended up being an "in your face" finish for the Spanish team. They're criticized for their 1-0 wins and they go home with a 4-0 win without even having majority ball domination in the 1st half.

A part of me thinks it sad that Spain won AGAIN... :/
But on the other hand, this is totally awesome. When I get old like 20 years from now, I can talk all about Spain's glory days. I will even be able to name the majority of their players.

I thought the match as a whole was alright. The last 20 or so minutes were also good especially the two other goals. I knew that when Torres was to be brought on that he would at least score a goal or get a goal assist and he did both. lol. Go Spain!

Great final-really liked the way Spain played.
Their tiki-taka was excellent as usual, and Xavi really orchestrated the game, shutting down Pirlo as well. Spanish defense was great as well, loved how as soon as Balotelli or Cassano got the ball two or three defenders would jump on them. Great performance by Spain, fully deserved winning it.

EDIT: So, brushing some dust off of this thread. Anyone here care about Olympics? I know it's not exactly highly competitive, but Brazil should certainly make things interesting-Spain and England as well.
Rooting for La Roja to take gold and add even more silverware to their list, Britain to take silver and Brazil to take bronze. Yup, I don't like Brazil much. Sucks that Argentina didn't qualify though-would have loved to see Messi play this summer.
